[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Lol, I went to a K-mart last night and they had the Singstar bundle and that NBA 10 Psp game. Both had sticker residue in the corner where they had removed the green tags.

Another K-mart I went to had to open the case to get a game. While he was in the case, he grabbed a Modern Warfare 2, the plastic was missing so I asked if it had been opened. He opened it and the disc was gone, he said, "I guess that was internal."

Mine was the one that said "works at all K-Mart stores" or something to that effect and they still wouldn't honor it. It wasn't the revised coupon that says "NY stores only" either. The CRS girl said they were e-mailed about the coupon, I guess by corporate. If anyone is still going to try the old coupon, you better try bright and early tomorrow.
 
Hit up my Kmart this morning and snagged:

2 Scene It Bundles
1 X-blades
1 Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
And an extra copy of Last Remant (already had one)

for $24.85 and after checking with a manager when the coupon didn't scan they input it manually and I got it all for $14.85.

I went back to the same store that night when shifts changed and picked up a 1600 xbox point card and a candy bar and they put it through again. This time they just manually entered it without question, though I knew her to be the head of the Electronics area.

I wouldn't give up on the coupons yet.
 
I just got back from one of my K-Marts and found a Scene It Bundle. That was it. When I asked her to price scan it she was like "its $29.99, like the tag says" and I had to ask her again to just scan it because "a buddy said it was part of a sale or something." The look on her face when she saw the price was hilarious. I actually thought she would pull something; saying it was a mistake or something, but luckily she didn't.

Oh and for those hoping to use the coupon, there were nice big signs on the door saying that the coupon was unauthorized and it cannot be used.

Saw Dark Sector PS3 for 4.98$
Picked up XBlades and Beijing 2008 both for 4.98$ they had a few they had quite a few more copies of all of em they did just mark em down yesterday I was there using the coupon and the girl had all the 20$ and under games on a cart and was remarking them so I'm not sure if it's a set day they mark em down next time I go I'll try to get a little friendlier with her and see if she won't tell me a few things hope this helps anyone.

Also going to 2 more tommorow morning and see if I can't use the coupon some more without them yelling at me :p also found another of the same coupon online with a different expiration date also on the kmart website pm me if your interested it seems to work more often as the other one was quickly discontinued.
 
Oh, the Streetsboro, OH store was going through the "value games" display updating prices today on clearance and other value games.

I grabbed NHL 09 before she marked it as $4.97 instead of $9.97

Used the coupon in Chicago last night - Elston Ave. store... I'm guessing they've seen a lot of them because the cashier scanned it without even reading it.

Saw copies of Fallout 3, Brutal Legend and Bioshock out of the case in the cheap section, stickered @ $19.99. Only MLB 2k9 was yellow tagged at $4.97.

... oh yeah -- they were all PS3 games

My local Kmart had Star Ocean, Last Remanent (sp?), Bourne Conspiracy, Dark Sector and Quake Wars at these clearance prices but I didn't buy any of them; I was hoping they had Mad World but they didn't :(

I might go back and get Star Ocean though. The rest of them are poop and not even worth 5 bucks.

EDIT: I just got a call from SwiMom, who stopped by K-Mart to return a shirt. She called me from the electronics section and told me that they had Tiger Woods 09 for the 360 and Pikmin for the Wii for $5. Couldn't resist either one at those prices.

I just found out from a new friend of mine(craigslist buyer who I got friendly with)that the two Kmarts down his way haven't done their price updates YET. :bomb:

Oh well. I'm going to try the old 'my buddy got this cheaper' routine and see if I can get a knowledgeable employee to look up potential price updates in the RMU and apply them to the games I want that I know they had last week.
 
I used two $10 off coupons last night in a South Florida store. Had to fight with the "ladies" who were trying to convince me the coupon wasn't valid. I told them I wanted the manager to get involved but they broke down. Got two 1600 ms points cards for $22!! :bouncy:

Picked all these up for $4.97

:360: The Last Remnant
:360: Pirates of the Caribbean

They had Bejing but didn't want it but it was marked at $4.97.

Clermont, FL Kmart

Only had Bejing marked down at $4.97 also but had some of the double sets for $30 and some other reasonable games at $20, but nothing that I really wanted.

If anyone in the area has Star Ocean or can get one, I'd make a trip to meet up and pay you for it. I'll consider buy and shipping from a fellow CAG.
 
My KMart has everything behind a locked case. EVerything's a mess in there, and no one's around to unlock it, so it's not worth my time.

I visited the two Kmarts down by where my friend lives tonight and I scored pretty well. I found(and bought):

LCD cleaning kit(maroon/burgundy colored box)-comes with microfiber cloth, gel based cleaning solution, six port surge protector:$2.50

All totalled, everything cost me $62.72 and I still left behind 3-6 copies of Dark Sector, 2-3 copies of XBlades and and various other games. The one clerk was really super awesome and let me dig through the PS3 case, which was how I found the Tiger Woods and NHL2k9.
 
K-Mart in Waterbury, CT still has at least 4 Scene It's for 360 locked in the case. They were still tagged full price, but scanned at the $5 price, so I picked up one, and my friend got one as well.
 
Went to a Kmart today and picked up The Last Remnant for 5$ saw a ton of other games on clearance and they had literally hundreds of games hidden in the case behind other games and bundles and this crap and that had to have the clerk dig out a copy of the last remnant for me. It was marked 40$ but scanned for 5$ so I'm gonna go back and check to see if I can't score a scene it bundle or maybe some other deals I know that most of those games in the back had to be clearance items time forgot. They had like a dozen or so games out of the case and clearly marked clearance saw Personal Trainer walking with the pedometer for 5$ thought about it then decided I'm not that lazy yet :p hope this helps , gonna head back tommorow to check for Star Ocean and a few others
 
FYI, the Sony 285hdx surround sound system(or whatever the designation is) went on clearance for $270.($30 off)

I'll wait to see if I can get it sub-$50, but it's something to keep an eye on.
 
I'm gonna be checking the one Kmart I hit last week that didn't have the updates done at as of yet to see if anything finally dropped. I didn't even pay attention to the 360 or Wii sections while I was there then since the drops weren't in effect yet, but I'll make sure to do so today.
 
Electronics drops again today but no overlapping items. PM for the TV (as in 1) drop. After 2 days I will post them on the board.

How is using a coupon they posted on there website scamming them? I'm sorry that they have horrible managers but don't blame me when they do something as totally messed up as the 10off20$ coupon debacle it's starting to make the news stations now and guess what there reporting? Not that thousands of people scamming Kmarts across the country. Nope that Kmart made a huge error in there delivery system of the coupons and the wording on them. If you don't want someone to use something don't give it to them.

The poster knew before he left his home that the coupon was invalid. He still went ahead and didn't take no for an answer. That's bs.

Hey dumbass, they didn't GIVE IT TO YOU. They gave it to the first xxxx people in Chicago, NY, Long Island. I agree that the kmart folks were shortsighted on how quickly this coupon would get out and to the wrong stores. But once they cancel it, they cancel it. You have no legal right to use the coupon. Browbeating a kmart cashier into letting you use it doesn't make you cool. It makes you a douche.

See that why I'm just glad I live in one of the areas that the coupon can be used in. I gave one to my friend, he used it for Trashbags, soap, gum, and lube. He was very happy.
 
You can always tell your speaking with an intelligent adult when they start there sentence with hey dumb ass. And no it wasn't given to the first XXXX people in whatever area. It was clearly posted and advertised on there website. People saying it's fraud and this and that, clearly have no idea how the legal system works. Yes they have since canceled the coupon because they made a mistake it's that simple. who browbeat who. I asked if I could use it they said maybe it didn't scan so they did it manually. The manager even came over and did it for the cashier. Why is it that people can't understand the facts around this whole debacle.

I'm still not even sure if the coupon has been canceled in all stores. You can still print it from there web site. Why someone hasn't taken it down is beyond me. If this goes to any higher press i.e. AP or the National newscasts then I'm sure there going to have a lawsuit on there hands. This is not the people's fault for using the coupon it is Kmarts fault for forgetting the internet exists and that people will always pass along a great deal to the next guy. All they would have to do is take down the coupon. Sure you may still get a few people who printed out like 10 of them trying to use them but simply let them know that the coupon was posted in error and that it is no longer valid. But threatening to call the police and what not is insane. Honestly the first day this thing was posted all they had to do was change the wording on it to reflect there intention. Honestly I can't understand who works that thought this was a good idea. I mean no one changed the coupon to say what it says kmart printed it that way. It's not some hacker who made it say valid at all stores, people didn't print this from some website in Thailand or some BS it came direct from there website. There are a million better ways to fix this issue than the one's there doing.

I don't remember it being clearly advertised on their website. In fact, I believe they only advertised it to people in certain markets (NYC, Chicago), so they are the only ones who legitimately have a right to use the coupon.

I don't remember the exact number but it did say something like "first 15000 people get $10 off $20. After that $10 off $50 (or something.)"

Clearly Kmart marketing sucks (they need to spring for one time use coupon solution) but that was their original intent. i love how people want to sue them cause of this. maybe jackie chiles will take the case.

Ehh I know my grammar is horrible but ehh. I'm sure there are now thousands of people at home laughing at me going look how bad this guys grammar is "OMG ROFLMFAO LOLOLOLOLOLOL". ANYWAYS we have goten so far off topic on such a stupid subject the coupon is for all intents and purposes dead (Although still available from there website, seriously if anyone on this thread works for Kmart tell them to take it down)

Dude, if you know your grammar is horrible, have you ever tried bettering yourself? I realize we have set very low bars on the interwebs but you'd be taken more seriously in life if you knew basic grammar. Everyone makes a mistake from time to time, especially when typing fast and not bothering to proofread. But it seems you don't even understand there is a difference at all between certain words.
