I just got back from my local CC in Canton, OH. Here, at least, they had just put games into a bin and they're all $4.99.

There were a few sports games for each system, but I couldn't remember the years. I wasn't exactly looking for Xbox or GC, but those are what I remember. I'll add more if I think of them. This a great deal, check your CC, I'm not sure if this is nationwide, but I hope so.

Hmm.. I got Onimusha 2 and Devil May Cry 2 for $4.99 each.. I also wanted Marvel VS Capcom 2, Futurama, and Disgaea for ps2 but they didn't have any.. x.x; Could anyone pick up any of those for me?

I just got back... i picked up Megaman X-7, Chaos Legion and Rygar for the Ps2, all of them were priced 4.99

Btw, i also got a sealed NON GH Dragon Warrior 7 for 4.99. Sadly there was no Disgaea and MvsC2. Is Dragon Warrior 7 rare?
 
It sucks being 16 and not being able to drive to Circuit City. Anyone want to try and get me Mario Party 4 and Super Monkey Ball for GBA?

Just took a quick trip to my CC, grabbed two games I wanted and asked the clerk to scan them. Both came up 4.99.

So I grabbed two more and headed to the checkout. I got Disgaea and Guilty Gear X for PS2 and Marvel-Capcom and Spy Hunter 2 for XBOX.

I'll be going back tomorrow :)

One thing that wasn't obvious to me -- if your CC has the games stacked on metal racks, make sure you look behind the games you can see. Disgaea was hidden behind Devil May Cry 2.

The Disgaea thing is true. I ran over to Circuit City (Youngstown, Ohio) a few minutes ago and picked up a copy for $4.99. The clerk and the manager both freaked out when they saw the price, but they had no choice to sell it to me.

Also, I'm fairly confident this is a NATION-WIDE deal because they checked 4 other stores' inventory, and they all said $4.99 as well...

The nice thing about this is the games are still marked regular price. Disgaea was $49.99, Marvel was 39.99, etc. Only those who know about this deal will be picking up these games.

I'd like to thank EVERYONE who has contributed to this thread. I was able to grab two Disgaea. Ten bucks. Tomorrow I'll be going to try and grab some more stuff.

As for these two Disgaea, they will eventually be up for trade and sale. Probably in another day. But PM me now with your best offers. I'm looking for Ikaruga and Viewtiful Joe. Don't think my CC's have them.
 
oh i work for cc and i was just relaxin today and saw a copy of burnout 2 for x-box i checked the price and what do you know 4.99 so you can add it to the list of 4.99 x-box games. most of the people that work for cc are mostly clueless about games so you do have to make em scan the games

When does Circuit City close in central time? Also, did anyone near the Dallas area check out any local CC's? Did you find anything? I cannot wait to go, but I don't think I'll be able to tonight... :?

PS. All these games suck, with the exception of a few (Timesplitters 2, Gauntlet, some others). I didn't find any of the real good ones / one I want so if anyone is kind enough to hook me up with the following, I'd greatly appreciate it -

Ikaruga, Beach Spikers, The Sims, Viewtiful Joe, Tetris Worlds.
And these for PS2 - Harvest Moon, Futurama.

Here's a tip, if anyone of you had happen to have bought any of the games that are $4.99 at CC within the last month at regular price, take your reciept in and get it price gaurenteed. I did that and with a little nudging and talking to the manager, they had no choice but to honor their policy.
 
Has anyone checked on either Arc the Lad or Auto Modellista. I saw both those but was too lazy to have them price checked.
