I just got back from my local CC in Canton, OH. Here, at least, they had just put games into a bin and they're all $4.99.

There were a few sports games for each system, but I couldn't remember the years. I wasn't exactly looking for Xbox or GC, but those are what I remember. I'll add more if I think of them. This a great deal, check your CC, I'm not sure if this is nationwide, but I hope so.

San Diego CAGs -Sweetwater Rd (National City) Circuit City. I went in with a small list of titles I was interested in. Damn I should of written down more. Anyway, here's my receipt keeping with the trend.

This was the last copy of Disgaea I saw on the shelves. Given CC's cluttered shelves, there could be more. Here's what else I looked for and saw that I remember being listed. Again, there could be more of these, but this is what I found while rumaging around. I did not look at Xbox, GBA or GC games so who knows whats there.

The girl there was shocked at the price :) She said they shouldn't be in cases or on the shelves at that price but rather in the bin. The bin, btw, had crap and is the last place to look there. Thanks once again CAG'ers :) As I walked out of CC, I called my friend who paid $50 for Disgaea when it was repressed and rubbed in my $4.99 score!

I picked up seven games as soon as I read the first list, but as games have been added to the list I have decided to take a few of them back and trade them in. I've only opened two of them so far, Ape Escape 2 and ESNP NHL Hockey.

Is Vexx or Road Kill worth keeping?
 
For those of you waiting until tomorrow it might be over. The last time games were $5.00 at Circuit City, it only lasted a week and tomorrow is the 4th of July. Are they even open? Anyways, if it's confirmed in Iliinois, I'm there.
 
Hey, JamisonBWolsh. Robin Hood is the sequal to one of the greatest games ever (and a true Amiga classic), Defender of the Crown. If you don't like it...well, you're silly.

They're open, normal hours too. Too bad I'll be working all day. My next chance is Monday morning.

Damn, I'm going back now for RE: CVX. I never finished it for the Dreamcast before I sold it. This list is absoultely insane. I haven't seen anything like this on a holiday in the history of gaming deals. 10 games for $50? This is insanity. I spend more at Dave and Buster's and have nothing to show for it, hell, I can't even get drunk and play games for that much.
 
Yeah, I have to go back now for a third time to get RE:CVX. Thank god it's only 10 minutes away. Starting to get tired of the drive though.

I just got back from walking to a Circuit City near where I live, and it seems like someone before me asked if Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was in stock, but it wasn't. Anyone here live in Glendale, Califnoria?

They didn't have much. They did have a few games that were confirmed, but I didn't want to waste money. I'm trying to convince my mom or sister to take me to a another Circuit City because it's too far to talk to.

Thy have 2-3 copies of every game listed in the prior pages, except for Disgaea, Guilty Gear/s, MvsC, and Panzer Dragoon.

It really sucks. Although it's great for everyone else.
 
Man, how do you check the prices of these games at the CircuitCity? I went to mine in St.Pete FL, and the bin of cheap games didnt have much. There was no Ikaruga for the GC. And when I looked at CircuitCity.com and at the store's stupid computer that just runs CircuitCity.com, they dont even have Ikaruga listed on the site. I thought the site is directly tied into the stores inventory?

Basically, how can I find out what games are $4.99 if the discounts are still there tommorow?

I had a few requests to put this list in its own topic because it was getting lost in the other. I'll update as often as I can, unless someone else wants to take over the reigns or an official CC list becomes available. I'll try to keep it updated if you guys break down your finds like I have them listed. And please...don't post what we have already confirmed!

Speculation is that CC may be getting in more games from their warehouses, so don't give up. I personally know of 2 CC's that have the games pulled until the sale officially starts, so once again...don't give up! Take them up to the cashier and have them scan them. The games in the bins are crap, the good games will all be on the shelves still. The CC website is not connected to the B&M inventory.
 
Oh yeah, are the $4.99 games only in the lil bin where they mix the PS2/GC/XBOX/GBA games? Cause they had Super Mario Sunshine and such in there but they rang up $20. And Spy Hunter 2 for the XBox wasnt in that bin, but was on the XBox shelf. Could it be my CircuitCity just sucks?

EDIT: Just read the above post. Ok. I hope Ikaruga is still $4.99 at a CC near me tommorow! :)

Kinda funny the employee run over ask the store manger about the sale but he's clueless. So, he endup call the disctric manager but they all clueless too.

At least he let me pickup any 3 games (limited)

Stupid CC employee ruin my Cheapass trip... i'll be back tomorrow for more games :)

Sorry man. Between Bigben and I we have you beat. We both went to the one in Christiana at the same time. It had crapped. Then I drove up to Wilmington. Got the last copies of Disgaea. They have a boatload of Castlevania LOI, but I was too stupid to bother and have it checked. Else I would have picked one up.

The Wilmington one ALWAYS has a much better selection. They had a copy of the bouncer there, and that's an old game. Wasn't interested but it's still there. Saw Gungrave, but I wasn't looking for Mario Party 4, Ikaruga, or VJ. I'm 99% sure the last two weren't there. Also I doubt MP4 was there. But I'm going to go back up there tomorrow morning at opening.

Nope, everything should be on the shelf. Most likely none of the 4.99 games will be in the bin. Everything that has been posted should ring up correctly.
 
I just got back, its awsome. there are a ton of games. employee's are catching on but most stores didn't get a list of games to mark-down so go soon. ask them to pricematch anything.

Oh and Dynasty Warriors 4 for xbox was not 4.99. Some others that are now coming to me that aren't included Amped 2 and I-Ninja. Both xbox.

I just got my dad to drive me 30 min to pick up 3 la pucelle's for $20 each. Time to explain I need him to drive me somewhere else tommorow.

Dangit. I just came from CC, but I didn't know anything about the sale, except that I did find PSO Episode I & II (GC) for $4.99. The sticker said $49.99. Why did I check it if I hadn't known about the sale? Because I had just picked up a GC Broadband Adapter from BB for $22 (combo 25% off bin and GGC coupon).

I repeat, Add PSO Episode I & II (GC)
 
Run Like Hell, Dynasty Warriors 3, and Blood Omen 2 all for xbox. I don't know if this would help, but would anyone want to make ones that are NOT on the list. I originally just grabbed 2 or 3, then I asked if the CC employee could check for a list, but he looked and there wasn't one yet. He said he would gladly check all the titles I brought up, and him and 2 other employees were going for the new releases, and I grabbed a cart and grabbed about 40-50 titles. It would probably save some time for employees and people to not worry about titles that are alreadly confirmed not to be on sale.
