finally updated after the spam about elections was gone. now running smoothly. HW is keepin me, so expect everyone 2-3 day updates. or even 1
 
Im not trying to be an ass, but how do 2-3 day updates help? I rarely see a free mag offer last more than a day. This new way doesnt seem to be better than the old. Not worse either, but in no way better.
 
this thread it kool how it is, it doesnt matter about the updates, its better to check the last few pages anyways because how u gonna rememebr what u signed up for? as long as u get the free mags there aint no reason to bitch, this thread is the same as the last one as mousin pointed out, just with updates on the 1st page every couple days.

what happended to moxio getting all the good free mags?

Hit Parader is about bands like Korn, Papa Roach, and teh like.
 
Any chance anyone can find me subs to Off-Road Magazine and/or good car magazines like Automobile, Car and Driver, etc. I like muscle cars, big trucks, and luxary cars like BMW, so maybe if you run into something like that you can help me out. :) I will look for myself and if I find anything I'll post.


I appreciate it in advance in case I don't reply right away or for anyone that tries to look.
 
I'm interested in getting the free issues of Playboy but how is the magazine shipped? I.E. if someone picked up the mail would they immediately know that it was a Playboy magazine?

Yes, or think that it is an even worse porn mag. It comes shipped in black plastic wrap. Not too hard to guess what it is.

EDIT: By worse I mean more hardcore or potentially offensive material.

EGM (and XBN sotra)

If you go to EB, they have a subscription card to 12 free issues to Xbox Nation and Electronic Gaming Monthly. The XBN card is should be near the counter, the EGM card was in this weird envelope that they hand out to you if you buy one of their "holiday bundle packs", but just ask for the envelope. The EGM card has a link to a free digital sub instead of print, course you can change it through customer service.

Sorry to bug. I am having a heck of a time trying to get ziff davis to change my subscriptions from digital to print. I called ziff davis 3 times over the last 2 months and they can never find my susbscriptions... I am now trying directly e-mailing Pc magazine and EGM at this moment. They are quick to respond but still tehy can't find them either. With my last e-mail to them I included the e-mails I recieved saying download your issue here.

Any further ideas if this leads to no avail



Maximo you seem to not have any problems. is there any particular method you use ¿?

This is only good if your account is on their database but... i have (actually had) the same problem you have. Go to http://www.zdmcirc.com/service/index.html click on your magazine type in your info (email or last name + zip code) and on the next page click on "Other Questions" (its on the left) and then type in your request to change from digital to print. I just did this yesterday for pc mag and computer shopper. They repied today saying next issue will be in print. :D Good luck.

The link works for me. You can also get free subscriptions for every Ziff Davis gaming mag: EGM, CGW, OPM (6 months), XBN. Just register new games such as Spyro Heros Tail, Crash Twinsanity, Men of Valor, Bard's Tale, Leisure Suit Larry and Tribes Vengeance for PC to get all of them.
 
gamer4, thanks for that tip! I did what you told me and I got a reply saying that they switched my sub to print in 1 day! I thought it was going to take a while but oh well. Only thing is I have to wait tile January/February of 05 to get my issues:( I wanted that San Andreas EGM issue too..
 
Anyone else having problems with EGM's customer service website? I've contacted them about it but I can't see my expiration date and it won't change my email address. They emailed me to say my exp. date was dec 06 but that's not right. Last I checked it expired in 07 or 08....

Mine changed to from March '07 to January '07. I emailed them about it and they said it's due to the fact that they're adding a Holiday issue every year now(which everyone should be getting this year's issue soon).
 
hey, can anyone tell me what is the current issue subscribers got with EGM? I called them up in Oct and switched my sub to print. They said I will get the Dec issue.

The Holiday 2004 issue is the issue people will be getting within the next week or so. It might take a few more weeks for you to get the issues, since you just switched to print. If you do get the december issue(it have Halo 2 on the cover), then you should get the Holiday 2004 issue soon after that.
