Anyone else having problems with EGM's customer service website? I've contacted them about it but I can't see my expiration date and it won't change my email address. They emailed me to say my exp. date was dec 06 but that's not right. Last I checked it expired in 07 or 08....
Mine changed to from March '07 to January '07. I emailed them about it and they said it's due to the fact that they're adding a Holiday issue every year now(which everyone should be getting this year's issue soon).
It doesn't explain losing that much time. But I was thinking about it and I actually think that my subscription was supposed to expire in 2011!

I got my first issue of Details in the mail today. I forgot that I signed up for that one. I also got my third issue of FHM about a week ago.

As for Playboy, I got a card in the mail a couple weeks ago offering me a year's subscription for $12, along with a free DVD after the subscription's paid for. So even though it's not free, $1 an issue is a pretty good deal, so I should be getting Playboy soon.

Still waiting for Maxim, Stuff, Blender, EGM, Bonita, and maybe another one I'm forgetting. Hopefully those will show up soon!

Thanks to everybody who's posted these free subs! :)

I have recieved my free USA today, Sporting News and Plenty, some magazine I have never heard of. Still waiting for Maxim. FHM, stuff, and some others.
any links to them
You gotta check the front page or you can scroll through the pages looking at individual posts...
but im too lazy to look through that jungle
Look, we help each other out here but nobody's gonna hold your hand to get you free stuff. If you're really that lazy, are you sure you need free mags? You're asking for links and they're right here in this thread but you're too lazy to look?

Look above your post-Moxio's got some links right there. Please don't waste our time for you to be lazy...

Hey, Moxio- Thanks for the Blender link. Been waiting to get in on one of those...

I took advantage of the 1 free OXM mag. Got the mag but now they want me to pay $29.99. This is a little idiotic because of course the price is $24.99, i didnt get a full years subscription, and it was supposed to be free. They are actually trying to effect my credit rating! I sent this message.

Hi,

I bought my X-box in middle August. While Opening it up, I found a offer for 1 FREE OXM. So doing as any reasonable person would. I happily got my issue of OXM. I dont know why you want my to pay when you said it was free. I mean wouldnt that be false advertisment?

Sincerely,
Chris Killips

Just write "cancel" on the invoice they sent you and they wont send you any more issues.

Im sure those "bills" aren't really bills.

As long as you didn't give them any credit card or other billing info, and the subscription was free, it won't affect your credit rating at all.

I get those letters too, and it looks like a bill, but it's just an invoice to lure me to buy a sub.

I finally got the EGM site to work right but now my subscription has been rolled back to the end of 2006. I know it was closer to 2011 when I last checked before the problem started. I emailed them tonight but I doubt they will fix it. Maybe you guys should check yours too...

I'm sorry I haven't been around, but here's my compensation- a plethora of magazines!

This offer is for the digital subscription, just to clear it up.
When will be the soonest that I can make sure that my subscription stays to print. In other words, will I have to get 1 issue as digital before I can switch it back to print?

Contact them the next day, I noticed mine was suspended the next day cause they were switching it over. But I emailed them about and kept it as print. But they got rid of the digital offer, so if you don't want digital, don't even bother with the link.

Just a forewarning about the free subscriptions to places like EGM. I have had problems with my account as of late and have been emailing EGM's customer service. I have lost about 6-7 years off of my subscription in the last week or so. Customer service did some digging and found out that some of the free subscriptions have been canceled by the agency that has been in charge of these. Customer service can not get any replies from the agency regarding the matter so they had to adjust my subscription. It was a place in Clearwater Fl so who knows whats going on. I thought I would let everyone know...

I noticed that I'm down a year on my EGM sub . . . from 2011 to 2010

Man, we had to make a new topic so that everything could go back to the way it was...

I know this is the tenth or so time I've mentioned this, but it's really quite amusing to me...

Hey guys,

To whoever had a free sub to USA Today, did you receive a bill from them? I got one and I'm not even sure whether it's an actual bill or not.

EDIT: Hmm..doesn't look like it much anymore...Since I didn't give them my CC number or anything, should I ignore it or write "Cancel" on it and send it back?

In the last thread, there was an offer for a free subscription (I don't remember the mags but I know Maxim was one of them) if you signed up for Xposed.com's online newsletter. The following was posted in their recent newsletter, and I figured I'd post it here for anyone who signed up for that.

Our Free Magazine Subscription Offer Update!

Due to unforeseen technical difficulties submitting new magazine subscriptions to publishers there will be an additional delay. Please allow 8 to 10 weeks to receive your first magazine in the mail.

Sorry about this glitch, we're making those responsible pay - they won't be able to look at the Xposed Girls section until all orders are filled!
Black Enterprise
Cargo Magazine
Child Magazine
Family Circle
Forbes Magazine
Golf Digest
Golf Magazine
Kiplingers Personal Finance
Organic Style
Parents Magazine
Wired Magazine

Any one of those for free. :)
