Ordering games from Europe to the US?

Turns out Loco Roco comes out June 23rd in Europe, July 13th in Japan and not until goddamned September 5th here. Assuming the Euro copy will work on my PSP, I would love to import one as soon as it releases there.

Problem is, I didn't realize Amazon UK doesn't ship games to the US for reasons I don't quite understand, and I'm assuming most retailers there follow these apparent international shipping laws. So, can anyone explain the situation to me, and hopefully suggest a route other than waiting until it's out there and Ebaying it? Thanks much.

Amazon doesnt do international shipping. Ive seen soooo many cool things on the Japanese Amazon site, at good prices, with no way to get them shipped here. =(
