In case anyone hasn't got some of these achievements, they're all pretty easy and the whole thing took me less than three hours from never touching Sanctum in my life and having no idea how to do it efficiently. You can do it in half that, maybe less. Basically, you need to download the free Christmas DLC and play on that map on Easy with the standard Assault machine gun, Sniper, and Freeze. Towers should include Slow, Killing Floor, Anti Air, and Vindicator. Your main tower strategy will involve Killing Floors.in the intersections, Slows immediately before them, and Vindicators at the corners near the Killing Floors. Use your assault gun almost exclusively and shoot dudes in the yellow spots as much as possible for Giant Enemy Crab. After Wave 2, buy four anti-airs right next to the the openings where the enemies come out. After every wave, look for Christmas presents on the floor, since you need ten for Festivus for the rest of us. Make sure that at some point, you max out one of your Slow tiles and use the Freeze's secondary fire on an enemy in it for I Said STOP!. Then just max out two of your other towers for 599 US Dollars. Finally, load up the first map in the list (Mine) on Normal, level up your assault gun twice, and machine gun through the first wave towerless for (See?) I've got this. If you still need a few more crits, it's more efficient to just replay the Christmas level on easy and just keep machine gunning.
Either "don't get hit" is not actually the condition for three stars or these results are very, very, very not typical.
I believe it's based on how much loot you find, if you get the secret slug, and how much time you have left. After each stage there's icons around that stuff that keeps adding up. I got hit plenty of times and 3 starred most levels. The level design really sucks and those insta-kill boulders are some real crap.

Played this once earlier while I was farming cards, got through chapter 1, and then I just replayed it from the beginning following the guide to get that achievement, and wow, it's pretty much as tedious and nonsensical as every other point-and-click adventure game I've played before (except for TWD). I'm reminded why I usually stay away from this genre.

Yeah, at least with some other point and click adventures there's humour to keep you entertained. This one would have been a grind without the walkthrough. Also, what the heck was with finding those orbs? They were just hidden in random parts of the screen, no reason whatsoever.
It was a cute game and my son was obsessed with his teddy bear at the time, so I kept thinking he would go through the same big quest to get it back. I used the walkthrough too and remember thinking that it would've taken forever to figure some of that out. Too bad I missed the playfire rewards.
It wasn't obscure and frustrating ... cos I cheated and used the walkthrough.
Meh, I found the floaty controls too frustrating and gave up after 4-5 levels, at what point do you start encountering cannons for the Daredevil achievement?
Somewhere around 10 or so I'd say. If you're not enjoying the game though you should probably skip it, it takes 4 or 5 levels or so of normal play, with retries, to rack up 100 cannons.
The first cannon level seemed the best to grind it out, there's a bunch there and it's simple.
