It's the Heart Couch under the Latest Items (the one that has the star in the tab) section of the Lockwood Gift Machine. As as far as I have seen and read, new episodes will be posted in the Theatre for the next seven weeks. If you watch all the episodes of Season Three, you get the Tester Superfan Award then.

The quest is from any activity board.
You must go to the 1st Floor Mall with a friend and find the poster with the shoes (same as the dragon).

Today's Lockwood greets us with a DEMON WARHORSE, and if you wave at the one inside you get a DEMON WARHORSE - Storm

Southern Island Hideaway (PSJ) has been updated to include a swimming minigame. You might want to buy the snorkel to play this, as the breath timer is still in effect.

Just a heads up. If you don't see the Heart Couch in the Gift Machine you are not alone. Apparently the Gift Machine is not updating with the newest items for some people (myself included).

No need to wave at it, just walk up to it and you'll get the reward.

BTW: diarmadii is correct, the 'statue' in the entry hall is called "Storm the Stitchkin Pegasus", the the reward is the toy version ("Stichkin Cuddly Toy - Storm") of the companion found in the Lockwood Stitchkin store.

That's odd. So what items are shown when you press R1 to go to the "New" items menu?

I've checked my wife and kids accounts, my UK account, as well as some test accounts, and they all show the five new Valentine's items, including the "Heart Bench" and Lovey Dovey Heart Seat"

Have you tried using the built-in Gift Machine as well as your own? How about both the red and blue versions of the Gift Machine? Have you tried clearing your cache?

If all that fails, you can always delete Home and re-install it. You wont loose any of your items, settings, avatars, etc.

I'm still showing Drey content under the "New" Items menu and I've tried both my own Gift Machine and the one in the Lockwood space. Haven't tried the red one yet but I will when I get home from work.

Clearing the cache didn't work. People are reporting on the official support forum that deleting Home doesn't work either. Home Support is looking into it so hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Lockwood's prize today can be found by sitting in the chair next to the store over by the Sodium room! It's a Romantic Dining Table.

Chair is kinda mobbed up~ =1

If you endured the Community Theatre Adcast, you'd know it's really a demon warhorse. They are possessed by the spirits of Viking warhorses here to invade and bring about the destruction of Home.
Mine just killed an ant.

DEMON WARHORSE

Today's Lockwood features a white bed and has everyone standing around the red & black bed. They're double beds that seat one. Bed - chair - same thing. Anyway, the circular Heart Bench is still free in the Valentine section of the gift machine, too.

Except the fact remains, Lockwood (the publisher) clearly calls it "Storm the Stitchkin Pegasus"... which is what diarmadii said. If you wanted to share some additional info about it that you heard in an Adcast, that's cool, but you keep making it sound like he was wrong, when in fact he was not.

As Sqeaks stated, and diarmadii confirmed, you don't get the reward for standing by any bed. Rather you get it by sitting in the chair to the left of the entrance to the Sodium room.

Where does it say that I said he was wrong? For such a busybdy, you're not paying much attention.
I also said there was a bed. There was in fact a bed. People were in fact standing by one of the beds in the room. I didn't say the bed gave the reward. I didn't say the chair didn't.
Perhaps if you weren't so busy trying to be a tool, you'd realize the entry display sometimes helped clue people about the reward. The fireworks led players to the fireworks for a reward. The balloons led players to the balloons. Sometimes, it didn't help, much like your post. The Medusa logo wasn't an obvious clue to look for red lips.

Lighten up, Francis.

And, no, nobody cares if your name isn't Francis.
Where does it say that I said he was wrong? For such a busybdy, you're not paying much attention.
Even a half-wit knowns the difference between "making it sound like he was wrong" and "saying he was wrong"... so maybe you need to pay more attention.

And even a half-wit can tell that you were clearly 'correcting' diarmadii despite the fact that everything he said was correct. Or are you always in the habit of posting DEMON WARHORSE with no explanation or just to be a tool (as you seem to like to put it)?
Exactly. You didn't post anything about how to get the reward, and instead left the impression it was associated with the bed - which it clearly was not. Yet another example of someone acting like a tool (as you seem to like to put it).
Lighten up, Francis.
I love it how trolls defend their obnoxious behavior by telling others to "lighten up" and resort to name calling like they are still in elementary school.

BTW: Maybe you should have taken your own advice.

The whole point of this thread is to help the CAG community of Home users to finding and collecting rewards... if you think your response of just "DEMON WARHORSE" and misdirection of the bed (and *misinformation) was in any way helping CAG users find and collect rewards in Home, then perhaps that's where the real issue lies.

* You said "They're double beds that seat one", but that's only because in the showcase they placed the sidetable so that it blocks the right side of the bed. In normal use, the bed sits two. Not a big deal, but some might assume based on your comment that those beds only sit one - and you wouldn't want to post misleading information, right? Right?
Ok kids, calm down. If you can get an invite to preview the new Mt Olympus space you can get a lightning bolt hand item.
Excuse me, but in no post have I acted like a child, like resortting to name calling. So please do not put me in the same category as SoylentBob.

As rare and unusual as it may seem, it is possible to have a disagreement and discussion in a forum without having to act like a child, and thus actually get some benefit from it. SoylentBob on the other hand seems to think acting like a child makes him appear to be the 'reasonable' one.

Regardless, seeing as no one else has said anything about last night's and today's 5th Lockwood Showcase reward, just like the Winter theme Showcase, the 5th reward is behind closed doors, and won't be available until next week, and the 6th and final reward wont appear until February 22. If anyone missed any of the previous rewards they should cycle back to 1 starting tonight.

"Excuse me, but in no post have I acted like a child, like resortting to name calling. So please do not put me in the same category as SoylentBob."

If you must know, that comment was mostly directed at soylent, but the more you continue to argue with someone OVER THE INTERNET, the more I am inclined to include you in such a nomenclature. Now, if you wanna stop snapping at people trying to keep things civil (as I would rather not have to dig through pages of you two bickering to find useful info), we can all go back to business as usual.

Also, soylent, just man up, admit your crap was misleading as hell as say sorry. Problem solved.

After resorting to calling us "kids"?
You're almost as big a hypocrite as digital-noob who has taken it upon himself to police the internet.
I didn't place the bed there in the entryway. I'm not the one the caused all those people to gather by the beds. I did tell people to go to the chairs to get the table in the space, and it was already posted clearly in this thread. Are you angry because you were actually confused and waited by the beds, or are you angry on behalf of someone that would have been standing by the beds anyway despite anything I might have posted? I don't see you lashing out at Lockwood for being confusing, so you're obviously trolling for a response. Well, you got one.
That holier-than-thou crap doesn't sell. You called names. You contributed to the less-than-helpful posting. You did it maliciously to bring me down and make yourself feel better, so don't whine about having to skim over pages of useless info.

So while you two are busy patting yourselves on the backs for making complete fools of yourselves, I'll point out that the Romantic Dining Chair which has returned is available by approaching the balloons in the back of the Figment stage, so people won't have to go back pages to figure out the reward.

Lol, ok, whatever man. I was simply trying to calm things down in a joking manner, and I am sorry if you guys took offense. And I am hardly a troll. If that is how I am thought of around here then I will simply find someplace else to post.

Seriously dude your post was misleading, just like the one about needing to wave at the horse when you don't...it happens. You may not have meant it that way, but there really was no point to post about the bed if no reward is given, it was a waste of space just like this entire page of you two bickering. Three people have now said your post was inaccurate regardless of your intent. We thank you for your contribution with the correct method of receiving the reward, but man up and cut the crap.

I'm pretty sure it's obvious due to the giant hint in the foyer; but today your Lockwood whatsimaplace prize is earned by getting all up on the catwalk.

More accurately, approaching the steps to get up there.

Also, prize is a chair.

So does anyone know when the timer for the daily 50 casino chips is? Most timers in Home are set at 4pm PST, but I tried last night to get new chips, and gave up sometime around midnight, but then this morning some time after 6am PST I logged in and it gave me the 50 chips.

Well it doesn't seem that the Gift Machine issue affected anyone here besides myself but I'm happy to report that my Gift Machine finally updated today with the latest content.

some of the people on the dance floor were saying the slippers from the theatre were not working to give you the wings they had to change to the first set they got from the quest
i do not know if this is true or not just putting it out there

Thanks, I walked all around the picnic area and it wasn't until I went to that specific bench with the wreath on the back that I got the wreath. So if you haven't gotten it already, just walk up to the bench that diarmadii mentioned and you should get the wreath right away.
Free heart slippers in the community theatre. good for those that didnt get to do the quest. Also, if you have them already you still get rewarded and own a second pair in your wardrobe just a heads up.
Yeah, I would recommend you avoid visiting theater 1 if you already have the ones from the quest as they are identical, so they just end up adding more stuff in your wardrobe you'll never need, and as diarmadii pointed out, they apparently will not work to get the wings for the 2nd V'day quest.

Speaking of the V'day quest for the wings, you do not need to dance to get the wings. Just wear the slippers from the first V'day quest, then go with a friend to the dance area in Pier Park (any where on the patio between the theater entrance and the large outdoor speakers). If you do not have a friend there, simply add someone while you are there.

You should get the Quest Info alert and wings right away, but if not, it's possible that in this quest there needs to be a minimum number of people in the space or dance floor.

I say this, as in one case I know of, no one was getting the wings, and the only difference was that it was a newly opened lobby, and so there were only about a dozen people there at the time. My friend left, went to a different Pier Park lobby that was much more crowded, and once she went to the dance floor and added a friend she instantly got the wings.

YMMV

Also, this quest expires at midnight PST, so don't put it off for too much longer if it's something you care about.

Don't know what the reward is yet but the pop up said there is a special event at 5pm PST and attending gets you an item. So you may want to pop in at that time...hopefully i remember to haha

Also, Theater 5 gets you the Ghost Rider head.

EDIT: The special event is in Community Theater for a PSX extreme show. You get a PSX Extreme Shirt after waiting about 5 minutes.

If you're still in a Valentine's mood, the Japanese event should be running through the next update. Details are in the Central Plaza (no Hub in Japan), and there is some info on the 2012 event shopping tab. The free T-shirt (male only) is the same one from 2010, so you may have already purchased it.
Hmmm, no new quest in my activity board.
I saw it and activated it from yesterday, but it has since been removed from even the My Quest page. It said it expires on 3/29 so even if they don't change the expiration date, there should be plenty of time to complete it by the time they fix it and re-release it.

On a different subject, it's not a reward, but the latest Casino update left a message about a water leak... if you go to your complimentary room you'll find you left your sink on and it has spilled over and water is everywhere. LOL

Makes me think they'll be using that room from time to time to add a little 'twist' to the Casino experience... who knows, maybe they'll put a dead hooker on the bed some day.

By the way theres been an update to cutteridge mansion if you own it that adds quite a few new things including new picture frame slots, sound effects, weather control, a glowing ghost ball in the yard to kick around and is possessed, a built in pandoras box, and last but not least, a hand item reward called the necronomicopedia (pocket edition) which bears a little resemblence to the necronomicon from the evil dead movies :)

Thanks for the heads up! I remember shortly after they released this space there was a lot of chatter about all the various unpublicized features in the space, and how much fun everyone was having discovering things like the secret passage upstairs that leads to the mirror at the top of the stairs, which is a two-way mirror so you can spy on people... or do the R1 "Boo" to reach through the mirror to the other side.

Then there is the wondering crying lady who vanishes if you get too close, and much much more. Then there was the discovery of the hole under the stairs and through the wall of the fireplace that lead to a massive amount of speculation... and it only got more bizarre when it was discovered that if you used the ghost glitch, you could see where those holes lead to... a miniature room with miniature furniture and empty bottle spread around.... the update does not appear to have changed that though.

The locked door on the 2nd floor was also a hot topic. Unlike the mouse hole, I don't think anyone has gotten into the locked room yet, but with this new update... one might not want to based on the sound coming from behind the door!

I like the ability to select the weather (using the painting). We now have three settings (no storm, random, storm). As much as I like the storm effects and sounds, I personally recommend turning off the storm (and cranking up your sound system), as it makes it much easier to hear all the new sound effects, and with a good bass... quite a listening experience!

Also, I found out where that glowing ball is coming from... just stand near the well, and not only will you see that same glowing light coming from below, but once in a while you'll hear the laughter of a little girl, and she'll throw the ball out from within the well. The ball will also move on its own, even if you don't kick it.

Having the built in Pandora's Box is great, as it wont eat up an active item slot / 12 items, and its a perfect addition to that space!

This was one of my favorite spaces when it first came out, and it's only gotten better!

EDIT: I just noticed another change, if you look into the mirror at the top of the stairs, after a while you'll see ghostly images flash on it... and no, I'm not talking about the actual ghosts that swipe at you if you stand still for too long.

They also seemed to have increased the level of ambient light (as it was VERY dark before), but if you feel its still too dark to see a lot of the detail in the space, just increase the gamma setting in your Home video settings menu, or on your TV.

Daily chips are still available in the Casino, but your free room may have been flooded with 2 inches of water in the update.

nDreams Aurora awards for 95 and 100 have been unlocked.

The PS forums are lighting up over the recently discovered nude glitch in Home that caused the offending outfit (Leather Bikini) to get pulled from Home.

If you haven't seen or heard about it, if someone in Home is wearing the Leather Bikini and a different avatar that is still loading (generic clear avatar) stands in front of it, it makes the bikini disappear, and the avatar is completely naked - and anatomically correct, nipples and all.

I'm sure there will be plenty of videos of it online, if not already. Here are some pics:

Without Loading Avatar in front of it
With loading avatar in front of it (nude image)

More examples from a friend of mine. 1 - 2 - 3 (all nude images)

Personally, I find it rather crazy how some people freak out over sexual/sensual content in Home, but have no problems with all the violent content - neither of which bother me, as I am not forced to view any of it, and am perfectly capable of deciding for myself what I feel is appropriate to look at and what I feel is inappropriate, and thus I don't need to have Sony do it for me.

Any way, I started a thread about it here.
