lol that's hysterical Digital-Nitrate, i mean i can imagine the pranks someone could pull on an unsuspecting avatar with the bikini lol.

Personally, I find it rather crazy how some people freak out over sexual/sensual content in Home, but have no problems with all the violent content - neither of which bother me, as I am not forced to view any of it, and am perfectly capable of deciding for myself what I feel is appropriate to look at and what I feel is inappropriate, and thus I don't need to have Sony do it for me.

Yeah i read your post on the forums right before you msgd that here. The whole leather bikini situation is weird. Quite frankly theres no way its just a fluke. Nobodys going to make such a detailed character model for the underparts of an outfit (nipples? Hello!) unless its been planned. Also, no other costume disappears like that in that fashion. Its the brainchild of some lonely sony programmer who thought he'd slip in an easter egg i suppose. The suit itself was recalled hours after it was released, but some people still own it. Now, personally, im a grown up and am not offended by nudity or the female form, but i will be honest, i think theres a time and place for everything, and that home isnt the place for it. Agreed about violence in video games i rarely play fps games (although im a wicked shot, plus its my psn namesake lol) but they just seem like military training sims to me and something about finding joy in blasting someones face off is a little morbid in my opinion. I play games to relax as well (homes pretty relaxing to me) and shooters are so damn twitch lots of tense action involved. im no prude although i may sound one here lol yes i was all about nude raider when i was younger... the whole thing just doesnt seem right tho like seeing a fish out of water, anatomically correct naked avis in home just... Weirds me out i dunno. Btw its got nipples but umm anybody know if theres detail down south? One cant help but wonder about the crouch action...
 
Hey all a little more on topic here but if you can get a tour from an hcv (list is on official forums), the french chateau personal space (soon to be released) has a gift giving machine for the owners with a quite large and nice painting for guests. So remember if you take the tour with one of the guides make sure to ask for the reward. :)

PS+ members also got a lot of other free stuff this week. Sony releases a list of all the weekly PS+ offers in the PlayStation Store Updates published on the PS Blog.

If you are a gamer, and like a lot of free games, early demos, beta invites, I highly recommend getting a PS+ membership. I've easily saved a couple hundred dollars in less than a year, and that's just on the games I wanted, that's not including the value of all the free games that I normally would have never considered getting. It's a great deal!

Question, how do I get to the EU home from the US home? I've seen many people from EU in US home, and people from Japan in US home. Is it possible, or are they just making new accounts?

For example, recently when I have been giving tours of the mt Olympus space, I have been encountering people from all over the world looking for the lighting bolt reward.

They have friends from US, like me :) Simply you need join to your EU friend on home:) then you need add location to favourite :)

add me to your friends list if you need go to EU home ;)

If a space is private (personal spaces and club spaces) then accounts from all regions can visit it.

If a space is public (and not global, like the E3, TGS, etc spaces) then only accounts from that region can access it.

This is why you can see people using accounts from other regions in spaces like the Mount Olympus, but you wont find them in public spaces like this new PS Vita Lounge.

However, many people have a different account for each region so they can visit, participate in events, and play games in public spaces for all four main regions of Home (NA, EU, JP, and Asia).

Creating regional accounts is very easy and fast to do. Japanese accounts are a bit trickier, as there is no English language option when creating a Japanese account, but there are countless videos and articles online showing you how to do it.

If you are trying to get to the PS Vita Lounge then having a friend with a EU account wont make any difference, as it is a public space, and I don't think it's a global access space. To go there you will need to use or create a EU account.
 
I have EU account and my friend invite me to public US RC Rally Space(not available on EU Home) where I won 5 companions cars :) @TheJLC always we can try ;) I be on Home tomorrow at 9-10 pm GMT+1

If true, it sounds like they may have accidentally changed the settings for that space to global... which if so is awesome news, as there hasn't been a global space since the TGS space, and with it, we can create private lobbies/instances for most public spaces in Home.

Can anyone else confirm this by meeting up with someone in the US RC Rally space with an account from another region. I'd do it, but I wont be home to check until much later tonight.
 
The daily 50 Casino chips special has ended, but we might still get the weekly 100 chips starting tomorrow after 4am PST.

EDIT: Just got the weekly 100 chips.

Also, we should be able to get the final reward (Samurai Bot Builder [Active Object]) from the Lockwood Showcase after 4pm PST tomorrow. If you miss it, it should cycle back on 2/26.

The final lockwwod item "samurai bot builder(active item)" can now be foudn in the iron fusion room of the showcase, (i got it by approaching the bot builder on the rear left side)
 
The bot builder counts as an active item, and it's a bit smaller than the one in the Lockwood space.

The new Tester quest is available on the activity board (it says watch ep 2 instead of 3, but it is quest 3). There's a new shirt set for "watching" most of ep 3.
It's a surprise double elimination

Well it's going to be a busy week in Home... (and an angry one, because not only did they cripple the targeting system in Home in the previous client update, but not with 1.62 they have patched the seating Ghost Glitch) despite there being no evidence that it caused any issues in Home.

Adding to the drama is that while they were busy patching harmless glitches, they have yet to even address countless issues with content in Home that people have actually paid money for... go figure.


As for new events, quests, and rewards....

Here are the new additions:

Event: Street Fighter X Tekken PlayStation Home Fighter [Hub]
Event: Brisk Star Wars: Ultimate Jedi Training Game [Pier Park]

It is being reported that there are issues with the Ultimate Jedi Training Game, so you may want to wait a day or so for them to get it sorted out. It also appears to be a game with limited access, so you may have to wait a while for the "Play" button to light up, thus allowing you to play the game.

As for the new Training Camp Trivia Challenge, you must get all 10 answers correct to get the reward (a Sony make.believe: Training Camp Hoodie). The questions are not random, and are always in the same order. If you are having trouble, here are the answers:

5. Clowns

I received a pair of male only shoes from participating in the wardobe wars in the mall. Havent gone yet but i also here theres a new community theatre reward as well. Rc quest is now up btw

There is supposed to be a third quest as well this week called the Winter Memory Quest. The RC Rally quest didn't show up on the Activity Board until a few hours after Home re-opened, so perhaps this quest will also show up later on in the day.
 
Hey for the brisk contest theres a phone number to call (** 2477) to receive a text msg back to get a hoodie reward. Would anyone kind enough maybe with an extra phone around help me get this? There is a lot more to the Wardrobe Wars event, so I went ahead and started a thread about it HERE.

Also, as an added bonus, they have now added a new kiosk behind the event area between the Games and the Sidekicks stores which currently have 29 free clothing items (15 male / 14 female).
 
Wow lots of stuff. Also the sfXt rewards are chun Li cuffs. Nina Williams gloves ryu ornament and I still need one more. Edit : its a kazuya ornament

Outrun if you havent got it by now you accept the quest first on the activity board, head to the tester theatre and the reward should pop up around the vote off towards the end of the episode :)
 
The Winter Memory Quest is now available on the Activity Board. Just be in Pier Park with three friends and you'll be rewarded with an animated snowflake picture frame.

Theater 2 is where they are showing Season 3 of The Tester. So far, episodes 1 & 2 were shown. This week, it's showing episode 3. There are 8 episodes in total.

If you missed a week, there will be 2 Tester 3 marathons after all eight episodes individually had their week-long run.

You do not have to call that number to get the app. They have the same app available on facebook.

Regarding the Ultimate Jedi Training Game, it worked fine for me, but if it shows the game is unavailable when you click on it, just leave Pier Park and then return.

As for playing the game and the rewards, it's very easy, and you only need to deflect 7 out of 10 laser blasts to get the Brisk SW: E1 TPM Outfit, and to get the Brisk SW: E1 TPM Sign - just play the game. If you score 7/10 or more the first time, you will have to play the game a second time to get the sign as you can not get both rewards in a single game.

The outfit also comes with a special R1 Action "Use the Force" which shows you drinking a bottle of Brisk, and then making it float above your open hand.

Hey thanks for the reply dn i tried looking and theres a link to the app but apparently my device is too old to be compatible (ughh) im just curious how does one receive the hoodie? Call number, get link for app, play app, receive code? If thats the case i cant play the app anyways lol sorry for being so needy
 
All you need is a computer and a facebook account. I have not downloaded the app yet, so I can't tell you what the process is for getting the hoodie or any other rewards that they hinted about with that app.

Also... I didn't get the Wardrobe Wars Sneakers, although I uploaded a pic of myself around 2pm pacific. Anyone else have this trouble?

Finally, agreed, I simply can't get logged into the Star Wars event.

Sneakers - in the rules i read i think it said something along the lines of limited numbers of prizes are available i do believe its like 300 for the daily rewards available so possibly what happened is you arrived after the daily amount was already distributed. Try to get there early to make sure i suppose.

And about the star wars promo digital nitrate was nice enough to post the facebook for the contest but even then, you can dl the app, but not get the text with the code needed for redeem. I feel your pain on that one :(
