Awww yiss. Just got the local co-op trophy in Resogun with my gf. Didn't realize I could use remote play on vita for a 2nd controller. It was a bit laggy at times, but we got through it. Turned out to be easy since you didn't have to complete all the levels in a row without dying. You could just restart the level if someone died.

Yes, it's great. It also holds the distinction of not having dumb ass trophies (I actually platinum'd it). The battle system really is something unique. Overwhelming at first but fantastic once you've mastered the nuances. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the story. I cannot tell you what happened. A little too esoteric even for a "hipster" like me.

Also, if you didn't like Bastion (for shame)... you probably won't like it.

For those having trouble getting into Terraria, don't be afraid to reference the various wikis. In fact I would say it's almost a requirement since the game does a poor job of explaining certain items and systems. Part of the charm is "discovering" things but you don't have go about it blindly. Only a week with it and already my second most-played vita game (after P4G).

I like the implied story and everything in it. I just haven't been able to sit at all and game away. I've been posting extensively from mobile.

I just got all my characters to level 300 on level 45-3 of the arena. They do 100% scratch damage every time. It's awesome.

I don't mind a little mindless grinding. I did the level grinding while watching this awesome interview with Richard Garriott, Felicia Day and the dude who made Bastion. Now I want to play Ultima IV again!

Grinding those arena wins will suck, but I'll have the golden guns soon, which will make the first 20 ranks or so fly by. And I'll just do it while I watch TV or something.

Make sure you do the money trick in chapter 7. It's that fantastic trick that's in so many RPGs where you buy something from one shop, alter it a bit, then sell it to another shop for a profit. It's like flipping, but no one gets hurt.

For real, the left angled line clearly has the back of it's head showing. But dammit, you're probably right Prof. My guesses weren't the greatest.

 
Also, the music in Transistor is great. It adds the atmosphere of the game in subtle ways. I've never played Bastion, I've heard it described as hack 'n' slash. I like those types of games, as they indulge mindless fun. Never tried it, as it released on PC and 360.

I think that DW8 plays the same as One Puece Pirate Warriors 2, as in gameplay, right?

Would you guys recommend any of these, or none at all?
 
Why are they getting rid of all the currently available PS+ games next week? It seems like we're losing them a lot faster than they're adding. I didn't even get Terraria because it only lasted a week. :|

Because next week the new model starts and all games are available at the start of the month and go away at the end of the month. No more on going titles.

 
It's gonna be 6 in 6 out 1st tuesday every month from now on. 2 per ps3/ps4/vita I believe. New structure starting next week.

I kinda enjoy the weekly gifts, but at least we still keep getting free games and they didn't mess it up drastically. 

 
I make sure to "purchase" it all asap from work on tuesday nights straight from psn store online. Then I don't have to worry about missing anything during my free days/week. 

n yet somehow that free sidearms bf4 dlc eluded me. I gave up on that rank 25 cuz im just gonna rank up anyway when i go premium bf4 someday anyway.

The first Tuesday of each month will be extra charged now. I hope their selection strikes a nice balance.

I like CastleStorm, but don't bother with the Complete version. The DLC adds basically nothing except for a few more of the same levels, and after getting through the 2 campaigns within the game I doubt you'll be eager for more content. I know I just mindlessly grinded through the DLC since I had already bought it and was able to get a few bronze trophies from them.

 
Mutant Mudds is, to nobody's surprise, fuck ing awesome.  Looks amazing, handles great, and the challenge is starting to pick up a little bit (on level 10 of the original world).

 
I'm thinking I need a good argument with Breakfuss to really boost my post count. Hey, Breakfuss, what's something you feel passionately on that we can go toe to toe about?

Yes, the music is fantastic! Probably what I enjoyed most about it after the battle system. I even listen to it on Spotify, lol. Not sure if you haven't tried Bastion because you don't game on PC, but I have an unredeemed steam key if you're interested. Shame it's been ported to damn near everything but PSN.

I'd like to take the steam key off your hands, but sadly I don't game on PC or have one at all. I think that maybe down the line, I'll buy the soundtrack, since I want to support Supergiant. They are devs which put a lot of passion into what they do.

Well, I thought to mention something about the recent "stability" update. I'm still waiting on those core features. I believe this was one of our first battles.
