Treasures of Montezuma: Arena was playable single player OFFLINE but since its free im pretty sure its going to all be ONLINE ONLY.

what kind of sucks the MOBLE GAMES used to work OFFLINE but now you MUST BE ONLINE For any moble game to work

edit seen one thing say it can be played offline BUT each battle cost a life and your only given 3 life and they only refill every 12 hours ?

if you could buy unlimited lives for like 5 bucks maybe. Maybe its like NO MORE MONSTERS OR HEROES (Or whatever it was called) where you could get unlimited everything for 10.. Though i would never pay 10 for this

got 6 more hours until Rouge comes active :(

Does anyone know how long the Sony Rewards processing time for PSN card takes?  It says 5 days but it's just a digital code...

Hoping to use it on the preorder of Rogue Legacy today but don't want to get it if I can't get on the preorder discount.

It's always been instant for me, with the "Get your coupon" or whatever link that shows up after checkout.

But I've seen other people here commenting about processing times too, so maybe things have changed since I last redeemed a code a few weeks ago.

 
I am on the fence about Injustice: Ultimate Edition on Ps3, even though I have PS Plus: 

1.) I will get a PS4 soon and will not be able to play the PS3 digital version on it...

2.) I got bored with DC vs MK after some time...would I get bored again? 

3.) The low price point makes me think I'm getting it just as an impulse buy cause it's cheap. 

Am I off base here?  Should I just get it?

I got mine the next day I believe. Ordered a $10 code week.

Well, it does seem to happen a lot. Surely no one believes Sony's recent announcement about 3D blu ray support is coincidence. So thinly veiled it's hilarious. And GWG is clearly a copy of PS+, lol.

You should be able to get the code directly from your recent orders from the website - for some reason they seemed to take a long time to e-mail them out lately but you can grab the code immediately from the website after ordering.

Microsoft is pretty well known for being sleazy, though. You do know how they made Internet Explorer, right? They used code from Mosaic as a base, and promised to pay the company royalties based on sales of the software. They gave it away.

I think spelling Microsoft with a dollar sign is cliched and childish, but let's face facts... as a tech giant, they're slimier than most. Just last year they planned to turn the Xbox One into a locked down, always online DRM-anchored machine with a voyeuristic camera that can't be turned off. It was a paranoid science-fiction fantasy come to life.

 
I watched above 5 minutes of the Last of Us live performance. I thought it was really interesting but I didn't want to see all the important scenes right before I pick up the Remastered version and played through the story again. Odd timing for such an event imo.

It depends on what you mean -- the feature being added to next weeks firmware is absolutely a coincidence. I think it was ready for release. Now, the announcement in a big press release because of Microsoft's announcement was possibly in response, but there is, quite simply, no way they simply added a major feature like that to a firmware update a week ahead of time. That is suicidal from a tech perspective --- firmware needs to be rock solid, massive qa before release, and if you let the marketing department add feature creep like that a week before release it... well, it just wouldn't happen. Again, it's suicidal on firmware going out to millions.

Besides, there's no need for them to tit for tat MS on any front, including non-primary firmware features. For one thing, sales are already on fire, for another, the vast majority of people don't care. Anyone vested enough into the consoles to know or care which have 3d support likely either already own the console of their choice or know which one they're getting.

So, yes, it's a coincidence. Same with sales going on -- sales take time to plan, and why would they care if MS is having a big sale one week or not? They'll have one eventually, and MS will have another, and on and on.

GWG is actually a perfect example though. Yes, that's a response to PS+. But how long did it take MS to plan and execute it? It wasn't like they dropped everything - there was planning, planning, planning, more planning, execution, lots of testing, etc, before they even announced it. That is not in "complete and instant reaction to each other". That's standard competition.

For :vita: picked up Injustice, Lego Marvel, and Batman:Arkham Origins Blackgate. For :ps3: I got Lego Marvel, Injustice, Lego Batman 2, Marvel VS Capcom Origins, and Batman:Arkham Origins

 
i know of some of the play differences between vita and ps4 lego marvel, but is the basic plot/missions the same?  like, is it the same exact missions without the open world core?  or is it a different plot, etc?

 
Pre-ordered Last of Us & Rogue Legacy. Playing Rogue Legacy right now as Last of Us downloads and holy crap is this game good!

Ended up biting on :vita: Arkham Origins Blackgate and :ps4: LEGO Marvel.

Never played a LEGO game before so I'm pretty jazzed about it, especially at that price point.

 
One tip for Rogue Legacy is to not spend much on the stat upgrades in the manor, as prices go up for everything with each purchase. Focus on getting the classes and class upgrades first.

NEVER buy the vita version of a lego game as they are always lame ports of the 3ds version !!!! as for consoles im playing the ps4 version amd it looks and runs great :D
 
Pulled the trigger on Injustice: Ultimate Edition and Marvel vs. Capcom Origins (PS3 both). I've played both these games in their original versions a million times, but what the hell, it's a good price.

I've leveled health up to 15, but I think best thing you can buy is equipment and runes with the vampire attribute on it. Anyway the game is great, hate that you use the money after you die, it makes you say "okay just one more" because you want to upgrade before quitting, crazy addictive!

so the health goes up even if you just level up mana (did not notice that let) just notice the 5th health is like 250 instead of 100.

Few problems

Type is sort of small when looking at your dude.

It would be nice if it gave you basic stats before you pick you person. one person i picked had 250 life next person had 95 (mage) what should been known but would been nice to be told

played it 30 mins and bored already its the same thing over and over and over what a freaking waste of 13 bucks.

(im joking) its a nice little pick up and play game and nice you can have like 10 saves but it would be nice if it did show basic stats

I am willing to bet many more companies are just as sleazy as microsoft and many are probably more so. You just dont hear about them because they arent giant companies with lots of cash to try and extort.

If sony charged the same prices, but for the ps4 versions, i MIGHT buy one of those sports games or bf4 premium. no way i'm gonna pay full price or close to it when the new versions release in a few weeks

I'm just talking about the manor since everyone's first instinct is to pump up HP or whatever and that isn't the best strategy to start.
 
I kinda want a white ps4. Does sony still have that one account per system thing? I dont want to have to call them just to put my account on a new ps4. its currently on a ps3, vita, ps4 and I think my psp

On PS4, it's basically infinite with the new system with your main console being free to do whatever while any others need you to be logged in to play your games and all that.
 
rogue legacy is tough. for the 20 hours trophy does that have to be in castle? gonna leave mine on tonight in the courtyard and see if the silver pops
