it grew on me the more i played it, it felt very cool and relaxing to cruise from detroit to miami (about a 20 minute drive) while listening to ambient music

I agree, the game looked interesting on the 3DS/Wii U, but I don't own either of those. Looks like a fun shooting game, will pick it up tomorrow along with Terraria PS4 (one of my favorite games on other platforms, especially fantastic on the Vita!).

The only reason for me renewing possibly this month is to get back into Destiny's weekly strikes. Haven't touched the game in a week since I actually started on chewing away my backlog (which is when the sub. expired, of course). Aside from that, I got some discounts off of games I wouldn't have bought without the + discount...in a way, Sony kind of paid ME since I used a 30-trial to get discounts, especially on that PS protection plan.

They already announced Injustice: Ultimate Edition and Infamous: Second Son coming to PS+ for PS4 for December and January - you're going to quit now that the getting is good? Especially when PS+ has been available for $30 every Black Friday. It would not take much at all for you to get your $2.50's worth per month.

Yes. Though many say it's better than SS. And it has it's own platinum. I enjoyed SS, I can't wait for FL.

And this month has been stellar for ps+. Binding of Isaac alone is amazing - I'd have gladly paid $15 (or more, now that I've played it) for it, which means it effectively covers like 4 months of ps+ by itself. (Not to mention I likely save more than I pay due to ps+ discounts alone)

I actually got notified by Sony my sub was about to run out... thankfully, it was in error, I have it for another year (and then another code in cold storage in case they have a +3 month deal). Last time I added a bunch of my year codes they had the bonus month deal like 2 weeks later and so now I hold on to them.

 
They could have only released Binding of Isaac this month and it would have been worth it.

I've already put in 20+ hours in the new version. Loved this game on PC, love it even more on the Vita.

I've said this once on CAG, and I'll say it again if I see this said again, just for newbies who are expecting it-

You're right, a 1-year PS+ sub was $30 BF weekend last year at several retailers, but this was the first time a year of PS+ was ever that price, and it hasn't been that price since then.

I hope that it is once again offered for $30 this year around BF, but we don't know for sure if it will or not, especially as none of the BF ads leaked so far show it for that price.

I wouldn't say Forza Horizon since that game is still realistic in its controls and all that. I'd say it's more of an expanded Burnout Paradise in the style of arcade handling without the balls out attitude that BP has and a world that is less interesting and cohesive and the story ambission of Need for Speed The Run.

It was originally on the DS, I think, than got expanded ports or maybe sequels on 3DS and then the Wii U since Shin'en has been largely a Nintendo developer for the past few years.

It's an above average dual-stick shooter that isn't nearly as good as Super Stardust, Geometry Wars, and those sorts of kings of the genre. There just isn't much meat to it and the camera can get fucked up at the worst moments, as I had to finish a boss fight while everything twisted upside down during the fight.

Forza Horizon is hardly realistic in game play. It's not as arcadey but it's kind of like GRID where there's some basis in the real world but in the same way that an action movie is. Also, stuff like this happens on a regular basis:

What I was saying though is that when both games are aiming to provide a similar experience that as of right now FH2 delivers a much better experience. Hopefully Ubi gives them time to polish it into an at least passable racer though since it is still sort of neat.

I know that Forza Horizon isn't a sim, but it's controls and handling are very much rooted in what the main games feel like. I've read about people that hate Forza and GT because they of the controls and that FH didn't do anything to make it more approachable for them, though that's a subjective thing.

 
Finally started playing I Am Alive after picking it up a couple weeks ago on sale. Can't understand all the hate it received, it's a pretty decent game. Especially for $5.

Because like six years ago the game completely stole E3 when Ubi showed it, was then delayed four years, was in development for nine, changed devs shortly after it was shown at E3, and nearly got cancelled outright. Even setting aside everything else there was no way for it to live up to the E3 hype (much like Dead Island).

Wow, had no idea it was in development for so long and was that hyped. Yeah, in that case, I can definitely see why people were less than impressed. I'm sure the 'apocalyptic plot line' comparisons to The Last of Us didn't help.

I just got the last of us for ps4 and I loved the multiplayer on ps3. Thanks to their new paywall I need to get PS+ so I can play online.

So little games for next gen so most own those already. I bought them injustice ult 7.99 i believe it was. I prefer better network then free games... If i want a game i will just buy it.

Question about Don't Starve. I had it on the PS4, let my Plus expire. Now I have a VIta. Can I download the Vita version for free or do I need to reup my PS Plus.

If you like the game and do want the DLC, there's also a bundle of all three for $5, saving a dollar.

I believe in order to claim the Vita version, you need to re-up your PS + subscription, at least if that is how you acquired the PS4 version of Don't Starve.
