Well, it's still faster than the stock drive, according to Tested.com. I'm happy with their results, I'm sure I won't be disappointed when I finally get to use it. By the time I fill it up there will probably be cheaper and better options available, so I can justify an upgrade.

About the PSN password reset, allow me to quote myself:

I should mention that I received no alert from Google whatsoever, so it could have nothing to do with that. It's just a guess.

It seems that The Verge thinks the same thing. People use the same password across different websites and services, this can't be a simple coincidence.

I'm sure it will be a nice upgrade, I just didn't see the price/benefit working out for me with how I jump from game to game to game.

Could not sign in on my PS3 so it was not spam - they definitely reset it. So I went on to the web site and did the "forgot your password" thing and they said they'd send an email to reset it - no email has come.

I'm not sure what triggered this. I was on my PS3 and PS4 late last night and have only bought one thing over the last several weeks and I got a confirmation for that (and not for anything else - would have, I think, if someone got my password and bought lots of stuff).

EDIT: Hah, I missed it amongst the Demon's Souls talk but now I see I'm not the only one. Still - they need to send me that email. I've "reset" twice now and no email. No PSN for me.

I got one of those a week or so ago. However, I got it 2 days after they made me change my password because, when I signed in, the password no longer worked. I thought it might be related to using the Playstation App on my phone but am not sure.

Or someone repeatedly tried to sign in as me. My PSN password is unique and I don't use it anywhere else.

Same here. My wife was asking me why Amazon Prime video wasn't working (she uses my account to put shows on for the kids ;)). I finally got the password reset email from SEN - just took a while. I reset it and everything is fine - no odd purchases or anything. Whatever...

What sucks is that I do the same thing, lol. At least FIFA will be played regularly until 15 comes out.

One sign points to no, I think someone said on their PS3 it labeled their Terraria trophies as belong to both PS3 and Vita. I really hope not though. Really not digging this trend of non-crossbuy games sharing trophy lists.

Lost sucks.

 
I'm glad I only spent 125 finishing moves on FFXIV. Unless the game opens up a lot more, I can't see myself playing beyond the trial. Just typical MMO fetch quest BS so far.

The trophy list does not report as being shared at the moment at least. You can always check PSNP to see. That does not mean they will not update it later, but here is the page for the game.

Man, I thought I would have a nice roomy hard drive for my PS4 to put a 1TB in but everything is huge for it. 4GB for flipping Escape Plan? Does anyone know if that one has cross-save with Vita? No way am I downloading that if I have to start over. What about shared trophies?

Also, how about Sonic Racing for cross-save from PS3 to Vita? I've got some decent progress on PS3.

They said separate trophy lists for all those PS3/Vita games going to PS4 (Escape Plan, Sound Shapes, Flow, and Flower)

After 4 years, I got my first proper platinum with Tearaway (not counting walking dead). :bouncy: I enjoyed it that much. I'd like to thank Ms. Kunis, Arthur Gies and AMY for always believing. Rpg, velo, admiral...your days at the top are numbered.

I still need my first plat. I'm going to try and plat either Tearaway or Knack if I don't get distracted in the meantime.

 
my 1st plat was Demon's Souls, 2nd was Skylanders, 3rd Dark Souls, 4th Skylander Giants.  I am thinking of getting another plat on my Japanese Demon's Souls now.

7k1000 is ATA-600 (SATA 3) vs ATA-300 (SATA 2). I can't speak for the controller/interface on the PS4, but they did ship with SATA 2 drives (5400rpm) attached. I realize even for the ps3, there is no benefit to SATA 3. There was a $2 difference between the drive you posted and the drive I purchased at the time I bought it, so I opted for the SATA 3 in case I need to swap it out with something later.

Given the price difference now, and the fact SATA 3 imparts no benefit on a SATA 2 system, I'd go with the cheaper drive 100%. Unless someone has direct experience with the PS4/SATA 2/3 that can convince you otherwise.

I nearly went the 750 route but I didn't want to underestimate this thread (and PS Plus), being unstoppable juggernauts hell-bent on eating the bits and bytes of my ps3 hard drive. I loathe deleting. 278GB left, and the timer's ticking...

 
^Yes Tearaway is rated a 2/10. So it should take very little effort just time collecting a few things. I plan on platting it next week.
