In all the FF jesting, did anyone mention FF V is now available on Vita?  I saw it under new releases, still dated 11/21/2011.  But I've never been able to transfer/DL this one to Vita until today.  Downloaded it alongside the others, started it up, and it appears to be working nicely.  Saw no mention anywhere else, nor did I read any announcements (or I missed them).  For those who got it for PS+, enjoy!

I believe Auditorium HD dropped to $0.99 from $1.99. The PS Blog just can't quite get a grasp on which way they want to list prices (whether they want the original price first or the sale/new price first).

I actually haven't been able to login through tapatalk for a while now. I input the info, but nothing happens. Funny thing is, when I come here I'm greeted with a CheapyD splash that asks me to 'download tapatalk today!'

If you want to see if AC is your cup of tea then try AC 2. It's $10 used at GS & often that price digitally. If you don't like 2 you won't like AC as all the games since are based off 2 & Brotherhood in terms of gameplay & mechanics.

Yes, you'll be fine. They created Liberation with the assumption that the person playing it could care less about the modern day storyline. It's not tied to anything else in a meaningful way. However, you will find yourself meeting up with the main character of AC3 in a weirdly obvious desire to tie the two games together that works well enough but is unnecessary.

 
I own 360 Spelunky, PC Spelunky and later today, Vita Spelunky.

I can't think of another game I've bought this many times. It deserves all your monies.

Im kind of worried about my PS4. It was doing find until today. It turned off twice after I turned it on. Then the third time I turned it on it said I improperly powered it off, which I didn't and it shut itself off. So it began checking my "hardware storage" and rebooted. Then it did the same thing AGAIN after rebooting. And now it works. Im all worried now...

It's worth it at either price. Unique sound-based puzzle game with a good challenge. It's Move compatible but works just fine with a standard controller.

It said $1.99 on the web store, but I fixed prices as I worked my way through the rest of the stuff. Don't worry your pretty little head about it.

I like it too. I think I paid $3 (or maybe even $5) for it a couple years ago. Needless to say I'm feeling the Sony burn right now!

 
Wow. I rarely buy digital content, and usually prefer 360 (just because I have a lot more credit there), but I think I'm going to have to buy Spelunky and Mystara at those prices.

I just beat the tutorial for Spelunky. Piece of cake. I expect I will beat the whole thing tonight.

If anyone is curious, I thought Auditorium was a pretty cool game and well worth a buck. Kind of hard to describe, but I'd call it a puzzle game where you manipulate music.

Hmm, comments about Dragon's Crown (PS3) and One Piece? (PS+).

I'm usually not fond of going digital, I'd rather get the disc... But this is a couple dollars better than the BF deal...

Dragon's Crown is awesome if you like the side scrolling brawler genre at all. It's also awesome if you like good looking hand drawn artwork or chesty broads.

Still, if you haven't gotten it yet I'd say wait until it hits $20 primarily because that price point will likely bring in an influx of new players and it really shines as a multiplayer game. Totally soloable, but time flies with a full group.

I didn't care for Dragon's Crown... (gasp)  I don't dig chicks that have boobs bigger than their legs though.. or dudes that need to lay off the steroids.  The game itself was ok.. (minus tapping all over the screen to find stuff) and I'm sure there's a bunch I missed before I traded it..

Edit... I agree.. sub $20 the game is worth it.. before then?  There are better ways to spend your money.

I was really surprised by Festival of Blood. Maybe I liked it a lot because I wasn't expecting much, but I enjoyed the hell out of it regardless (especially the audio files).

 
I already have the plat in MLB 13, but I kind of want to buy it so I can pick it up and play whenever. Is it bad that the only thing stopping me is the lack of trophies for me to get?

All the Ys games went on sale 26 Nov... but I didn't see an "end" or "last chance" to purchase them.  Did they sneak off sale?  I bought Celceta tonight and thought I could go back and buy'm on sale (YS I&II, Oath).  Found them no longer on sale.

If not, is there somewhere else I can buy'm on a discount? (I'm on a Vita)

It was a two week sale.

 
Just a heads up Super Crate Box and Fuel Tiracas are currently free. I'm not sure if these are the new free mobile games for this week and they haven't made a blog post yet or what.
 
I just caught on to Terraria being on sale and got it early this morning before the store changed.

Now I guess I should get Spelunky and D&D Mystara. I'll just add them to the huge virtual pile of PSN games I've gotten cheap or free via PS+ that I will probably never play (though my son and I did play Ibb & Obb the other day!).

PS+ is the deciding factor even on these sales though. At the normal sale price of $7.50 I'd probably have passed on all 3. But for $3.75 I can buy them on the off chance I might play them some day ;).

They are. They show up in the "Festive Giveaway" ad in the PS Store tab. That, and they're shown under new releases.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. Trophies are one part of enjoying a game that some love, some don't. MLB the Show is one of my more favorite games but that is biased because baseball is my favorite sport. 9.99 will probably be the lowest it will be, if I didn't already have it I would bite on it.

Yes. My friend, I would suggest briefly paying a visit to the dark side. You will find none of these perversions with Nintendo. Nothing to get in between you and the innocence. The pureness. The joy. Nothing that *dings* to explicitly inform you of your given place in the universe. We all gestate in the womb. We all know when to come out. We do not get a trophy for this. Yet all the same, we are compelled to do so anyway. Remember this feeling? You cannot forget it. You can have it again.

I hear you, but the problem is there's nothing I want to play on a Nintendo console that's not Pokemon or Zelda. I already have the DS Pokemon games and still play them regularly, and I played Twilight Princess, and watched my Wii collect dust for two plus years before I sold it. I don't have a Nintendo console because there aren't any trophies. It's a matter of me not wanting to buy a console for one or two games. Now if Nintendo had trophies I'd buy the Wii U and play some shitty games until the good ones came out.

Well, look, I'm not going to outright endorse Nintendo hardware in here all of places, but if you seriously feel this way it might not hurt to augment your trophy gathering with...something a tad less "plugged in". You probably wouldn't care as much if you didn't constantly feel in competition with others. But they don't want you to know dat, breh. I'm trying to put on you to some truth. Don't fight it. Why do you think MGS4 didn't have them for so long? Because, the messages. They knew it would dissuade so many from playing. So many of the lost. With the sort of compulsiveness you describe, one can be easily manipulated into all sorts of shit. From murder, to buying things like AMY and Spelunky. All in the name of trophies. It ain't healthy. One platform has become the last bastion of hope, so is it any surprise to see it such peril? Ask yourself that the next time you go for a platinum.
