Journey is awesome so buy that if you haven't played it.

I'll probably get Unit 13 and Maybe the MGS HD Collection. My 16GB memory card is already filling up..

Edit: Oh, no Peace Walker on the Vita version of the Collection. I guess that'll save me some money and space. How lame.

So happy about RCR free, going to download it on my Vita today.

Also, to anyone on the fence about Hot Shots Golf, it's awesome. Just get it. There's so much to do it's ridiculous.
Fingers crossed for sales on:

Valkyria Chronicles 2

Is there an emoticon for a little dude praying to the PSN Gods? If so, insert HERE.
Would you be getting it to play on the Vita? Because if I'm not mistaken VC 2 isn't Vita compatible. Anyone know for sure?

Damn, that MGS Vita deal is great. Pickin' it up. Was hoping for some PSP/PSone titles to go on sale. ;_;

Lol@ DNF @$9.79

#nowayinhell

I wonder if Mortal Kombat will be free for Vita PS+ next week. It shows up on the Vita store for me under the PS+ section, but there isn't a discount or anything.
Sweet, definitely getting Journey and Retro City Rampage. RCR was a nice surprise. I'm debating on Galaga Legions.
Galaga Legions DX is pretty cool but I had bought it when it was at 2.99$

It is super fun if you like shooters and super quick Go for it you won't regret it and time trials the last ones are insane
i encourage plus members to try out the music unlimited service. It is a steal at $12 a year.
+1 .

Good week for me, will gladly snag Journey and give RCR a spin (even though I had no intention of trying it before). That HSG price is too good for anyone with even a passing interest to skip. Definitely worth having digital for the convenience of daily tourney access.
Lol, me too, well and Might and Magic COH.
Yeah I wanted it on PS3 as well. But it went on sale for PC on amazon for 2.50$ the other day and I pounced on it.
Surprised for sale on Unit 13, thought it'd be next big vita instant game collection add. I dont think they'd put it on sale then screw everyone by giving it free. Might consider at this price.
Don't get it. That's not the correct price.

Damn, nothing at all for me. Kinda tired of PS+ games that I already have, but in this case it's my fault for buying RCR early. Oh well.

Only thing I was interested in was Unit 13 at about $13. But apparently that's a typo on the PS Blog? I'm not home so I can't check the PS Store, but it's not actually $13, right?

Man, none of my want list popped up this week. Still hoping for Tokyo Jungle, Sound Shapes, Okami HD, Malicious, RE Darkside Chronicles, and more. Hopefully a couple pop up next week.

It's a PlayStation Store error. The Blog has the correct price. Hopefully they'll fix the Store price before the day is over.

Sure about that? Anyone know the regular price of Unit 13 in the PS Store? Is it $25? Because if it does drop to $12.xx I'll pick it up.

Is there any way to buy PSN games on the PC? I don't want to spend 20 dollars on a PSN card just to get Journey for 7.35. And I never use a credit card with PSN/Xbox Live.

Not on an American account, EU users can though. As for spedning 20 to get Journey. You shouldn't have to. just purchase it, and before you finalize the transaction, check to see how much money is being added to your PSN wallet, it should be the exact price. Afterwards, delete your CC info from PSN and you'll be set.

Yes, I'm sure. The regular price is $26. The price listed right now for PS+ members should be the discounted price for PSN members, while us PS+ members get it for $13.
anybody download both versions of RCR ?

after adding the PS3 to cart , I wasn't able to get PSV version .
Hmm.....what exactly is your problem? The PSV version should've been added automatically to your download list. Check your list on the Vita and PS3, if it's not there, then go to the Vita page on the Vita Store and see if you can download without paying again.

I think it's dumb that Sony doesn't offer a way to purchase on PC worldwide:roll:. As for the CC info, I've read/heard from multiple people that even if you delete the info, Sony will still keep the credit card info like Microsoft does with Xbox Live credit cards, so I don't want to go that route. Thanks for the quick response. I found that pcgamesupply has $10 cards that they deliver digitally so I may just go with that.

OK well then I will wait and see and hope that the whole staff hasn't already gone home for the day. :)

Well, that's good news. I could have sworn I saw that it was not compatible in the PSP/Vita compatibility thread, but I re-checked just now and it says just what you told me. Guess I'm crazy.

Yea when I played the demo it was so beautiful and calming.I just remembered I have a gift card that I could use. So no PSN cards necessary and no worries about card security. Off to the store I go:bouncy:

Ok so I"m new to this thread, and can't tell what information is outdated and which isn't. This thread is a little hard to navigate. It doesn't help that all the psp/vita stuff is mixed in here.

All I'm saying is... there could be a little cleanup done to make this topic easier on new users. The 360 weekly sales is much more easy to navigate.

that is so tight rcr is free. saved me $10! thanks
wish i hadnt bought hot shots at bestbuy for $10 a week ago. oh wells.
it would have only saved me $1.50, but more than that i would rather it be digital, cuz what are the chances im taking out persona 4 golden to play hotshots.... oh wellz.

The OP hasn't been updated yet.

Sorry Frisky, apparently nobody likes your OP. :whistle2:( I still like it a lot more the the XBL one, which is way too bloated most of the time, and kinda looks like a circus. I guess if you could put the regular price next to the sale price, that might help some people. Other than that, I don't know what "hard to navigate" and "a little cleanup" mean. I don't know why it's so hard for people, maybe the headings for the different sections could be bigger too, to help people more easily sort with their eyes.

The OP's been updated. Sorry for not getting to that right away, but I have some errands to finish up before the holiday tomorrow that are taking a little priority for me at the moment.

What do you mean by "a little cleanup" and "hard to navigate" as those are such vague terms that don't say anything about your issues?

Really? Cool. I won't be able to check til later tonight, but they had just updated the PS Blog post to reflect the higher price. Someone is crossing wires over there.

Anyways, assuming it does end up at $13, can anyone recommend it? How is it?

It's pretty fun to play, each mission is about 5-10 minutes and is similar to spec ops from Modern Warfare 2 and 3.

For $13, it's a pretty good game (I just bought it right now) and has online co-op.
Unit 13 is like $17.xx, they updated the PS Blog page. Lame sauce, nothing for me this week.
They just updated it on the store, it's $12.xx for PS+ owners.
Really? Cool. I won't be able to check til later tonight, but they had just updated the PS Blog post to reflect the higher price. Someone is crossing wires over there.

Anyways, assuming it does end up at $13, can anyone recommend it? How is it?
Yes!!! If you enjoy third-person shooters, then this is right up your alley. I think Unit 13 made the best use of the Vita's dual-analogue sticks. I'm quite a few hours in and the game has yet to disappoint me. It only has a few levels, with each mission starting off at a different area of the level, so that's kind of bad. But you get used to it.

Thanks guys. The game sounds perfect for me. Kind of sounds like it has a pick-up-and-play aspect, where you can just play for 20-30 mins and then set it back down. Also, I guess there are 36 missions that can be done by yourself or online coop, which is cool. And there are only 3 online trophies, and they all sound easy. Definitely sounds like my type of game, considering used retail looks like it's still well over $20.
The OP's been updated. Sorry for not getting to that right away, but I have some errands to finish up before the holiday tomorrow that are taking a little priority for me at the moment.

What do you mean by "a little cleanup" and "hard to navigate" as those are such vague terms that don't say anything about your issues?
holidays are no excuse, don't let it happen again buddy
On the fence about Unit 13 and MGS HD for Vita. Some good deals.
Cop Unit 13 and don't look back!

20-30 minutes of play? :lol::lol::lol:

Some of those missions took me an hour to finish, I could just suck though.

Being a Plus member and continuing to buy PSN games for full price is like being a Netflix member who buys Blu Rays on day 1. You're working against yourself.

I can vouch for MGS HD being an excellent port. And really, when you think about it it's an absolutely ridiculous amount of gaming for your dollar. There are just an enormous number of bonus missions and VR trials and such between the games, plus MGS 3 even has Metal gear 1 and 2 available to play right from the menu if you want to see where the series started.
