Do vouchers for the 3-month/12-month PS+ subscriptions ever go on sale?
What sucks is that my PS+ trial expired two days ago
Very rarely. I picked up several years worth of + when Target accidentally put them on sale for like $15... but that was an accident. Before that, I just sucked it up and paid full price, since it's worth it.

PS+ update, free Foosball 2012 for PS3 & Vita & 20% discount for EscapeVektor.

Oh woah, Let's Fish is actually coming out next week. Think I'll still wait for a price drop, with my backlog & college stuff.

I suspected all along that LBP's price was going to tank like that, lol. It was $15 at Target shortly after Black Friday. PSABR is next.

It is odd to see no vita sales, but everything else is excellent.

Holy smokes at those prices. Other than JSR and J&D, I want to get every damn thing! Thinking about getting LBP:K, played it for like 6 hrs and really liked it. Got to let it go as AMZ was offering $30 for a game i bought for $15 lol. The only reason why i'm second guessing is that LBPK might be on the Instant Game Collection pretty soon...

EDIT: LBPK has no cross-buy. I thought it has that too before I got it.
If I buy LBP Karting do I get it for both ps3 and vita? I'm not sure how cross-buy applies to 1st party games on psn.
Maybe, if LBP Karting existed on the Vita.

Oh cool, I was on the fence about buying House of the Dead: Overkill at $15 from Amazon. At $5, I'll bite on the digital copy.

I have Jet Set Radio on Dreamcast, but for $2.50, I might get it again.

I want to get them all! Not interested in the golf games and already have NIGHTS though.

anyone remember free 30 day ps+ trials ign have out for playstation all stars? If anyone still has the codes they still work somehow haha. well at least mine did. time to get all these great games at awesome prices!

DAMN on the sale prices for this "13 for '13" PSN sale tomorrow.

I'm buying a ton of games. Crazy cheap. I'm in for:
LittleBigPlanet Karting – PS Plus $10.00
The Unfinished Swan – PS Plus $3.75
Ratchet & Clank – PS Plus $3.75
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy – PS Plus $2.00
NiGHTS into dreams… – PS Plus $2.50
The House of the Dead: OVERKILL Extended Cut – PS Plus $5.00
Psychonauts – PS Plus $2.50
Machinarium – PS Plus $2.50

My money!!!!!!!

Well, there goes $25-35 of my PSN credit (not sure about LBP Karting, I still haven't touched my copy of ModNation) I have accumulated since getting my Playstation Visa Card.

Damn, already have foosball. Not too bad though, I'm not exactly sure what Vita gamers are wanting for their free games. Not like we're gonna get many retail titles. Maybe most would have preferred a PSP game over Foosball, but I know I prefer Vita games with trophies over PSP games.

Great prices on those, but unfortunately I own quite a few of them on Steam or 360. I'll try out the demo of Unfinished Swan and probably pick up LBP Karting as well. The sale on that probably assures that it won't go free for PS+ anytime soon, right? At least not for a while, I'd assume.

In my opinion, this sale suggests that it probably won't got free for at least 6 months, and that it definitely will go free at some point. It's just speculation, but as PS+ gets older I suspect that their strategy will be to offer a quality discount on games they plan to make free in the future.

I wouldn't assume that at all. I seem to remember many instances where a game went free soon after being on sale for Plus members (Infamous 2 and Just Cause 2 for sure, probably some others).

Although I think that caused a bunch of whining over on the PS Blog (what doesn't though?), so they may have learned their lesson.

I guess it just depends on how badly you want to play the game now, but LBP Karting seems like as a prime candidate for PS+. The $10 an attempt to milk for all its worth until...E3?

They addressed that and IIRC, they said that they would refrain from doing so in the future. I don't think they ever mentioned any sort of time-frame for how long a game would stay out of the PS+ lineup after being on sale, but I'd like to think it's at least 6 months or so. If anything, I wouldn't expect LBP Karting to show up for free until the end of summer.

Exactly my thoughts, right down to the 6 months, haha. At this point, you're most likely just paying a premium to pay the game earlier.

I think PSP games are actually the way to go. I understand the appeal of trophies, but they don't do enough to conceal the stench of a mediocre game.
Which Ratchet & Clank game is that? Full Frontal?
I'm going to say its probably the HD re-release of the original Ratchet and Clank.
I'm going to say its probably the HD re-release of the original Ratchet and Clank.
I'd agree with you, especially since the first Jak & Daxter game is on sale as well.
I think PSP games are actually the way to go. I understand the appeal of trophies, but they don't do enough to conceal the stench of a mediocre game.
I wish they'd at least keep it even. (Same for retail vs PSN games) That way those of us interested in PSP games will know to expect a psp game when we lose one. Same for PSN games. The list of PSN vita games I'm interested in could be counted on 1 hand. And of those I don't expect to see any of them on the IGC for a good long while.

I hope Foosball isn't the replacement for FFT. I'd really like to see old, quality PSP games offered on a pretty regular basis since there are quite a few I never played and they play so well on the Vita. It's hard to go back to the PSP's analog nub and smaller form factor after using the Vita.

Does Unfinished Swan require the Move, or is it just Move-compatible?

7.5gb for house of the dead

WOOP! Thanks to the person who posted that 13 for 13 thread!

Gonna retry HOTD:O for $5 since I didn't have a 3D TV when I had it and traded it!

Anyone getting that, if you don't upgrade your weapons, you will NOT finish the game!:hot: Found that out after getting to the end and not being able to do a darn thing.

More 3D & Sharpshooter fun!:D

Personally I never owned a PSP so I would much preferred if sony would add a psp game once a month so I can play a few of them. I'm probably in the minority in that thinking but I don't expect a retail game every update. But fooseball is just so meh to me I literally rolled my eyes when I saw it this morning. Hell SCEA could just do ps1 games for a couple of months and I'd be more than happy.

Just a random warning -- Unfinished Swan gave me some serious motion sickness when I tried the demo (and I'm normally ok with first person games) so you might want to try the demo first. Other than that, it seemed like a neat game.

I suffered from this as well, it made me dizzy/sick, so gonna skip that too, might get either Hot Shots or Tiger, anyone have an opinion on which one has better Move controls?

See you in the comments!
I don't know what I expected from a 75% off sale, but those are some great prices for some games I'm interested in. I wish I had waited on Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds Complete Edition since I got that recently, though that was probably purchased with some of the cashback credit I got a while back. I'll have to pick up House of the Dead Overkill, LBP Karting, Machinarium, Psychonauts, and Warp for those prices.

I highly recommend The Unfinished Swan after finishing it yesterday. It's great with Move and the ending is one of the better endings I've seen in a game in a while.

In for Machinarium and Unfinished Swan. Good enough reason as any to get back on ps+ I guess.

On an unrelated note I found a new copy of Touch my Katamari on Amazon for $8 shipped. Seems to be going through, I hope I enjoy this game.
This has to be the first PS+ poll where the negative option isn't the #1 choice.
Because they finally gave us what we want.

I'm getting tired of these Sega sales. I bought Nights when it was $5 during Christmas and haven't played it yet; I bought Sonic Episode II when it was $2.99 and two weeks later it was .99. No doubt when I buy House of the Dead Overkill now, they are going to rerun their bundle from last Halloween. With THQ in dire straits and Atari today announcing bankruptcy, I have to wonder if Sega's days are numbered.

I thought what they wanted was the exact same free games that EU is getting?

Then don't buy it? I also don't think Sonic Episode II was ever $0.99 unless you're talking about iOs sales.
In comparison, the movie aspect of the 13 for '13 sale is terrible:
I 100% agree... I don't understand how digital movies can be so expensive! I should be reselling my pack-in digital copies if people are really jumping at deals like this.

Yeah, I was talking about Android. I'm not seriously griping - it's more of a mild annoyance than anything. Like the store is out of vanilla ice cream and you're stuck with chocolate. Their sales are still better than most.
