Serious question: the creating community is active as of now?
Lbp karting. Sell DLC, get folks creating, boom.
That's a pretty solid guess since Sony has a habit of choosing games for the ICG that were on recently on sale; why not choose the game that was the most expensive (Tiger excepted) during the '13 sale?

I played hot shots golf when it first came out on the ps3 and i didn't care for it. The game jumps in difficulty once you get by the inter mediate players, who seem to never miss. Flash forward to this year, and I got an itch to play it after going a few rounds on let's golf. Bought it for 20 dollars and don't regret it. It is still tough, but it has a surprising amount of depth if you take the time to learn the mechanics.
What? $50!!!!! I bought the 3DS version on amazon for $12. I want to get this again because the game was good and new modes but I'll wait.
Pretty sure MSRP for RE6 is now 29.99 so you probably won't have to wait long.

If any of you guys are going to get the Shank 2 on this sale and needs some help regarding surviving and finishing wave 30, I'll be happy to help.

Currently I have rpg49ers on the list, you must at least have practiced a little.

I'm just waiting for my 1 month ps+ situation to be solved out by tomorrow and I can help him and others should you need.

I liked the Vita version, so I figured I might like this one.

I'm definitely getting
The Unfinished Swan, looks amazing
and NIGHT into dreams
But I can't decide between Tiger woods vs Hot Shot Golf, any suggestions?

btw, I don't see the games up for sale, yet it says it begins today. Is it me or what is going on? These deals are getting me anxious!
that made me laugh
I guess the best way to tell is to create a thread asking what people think of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Deals don't always go live at the same exact time. Don't worry, it's not like they're going to run out of stock.

probably updated at 13 am for 13.

Anyway the title is confusing 13 for 13 if it was 13 games for 13 $ and 1$ each that would be understandable but like this, well I dunno, next year since it's 2014 14 vs 14.

Hey guise duz ne1 kno when these dealz go live?

No clue, but it didn't happen in this thread.

I'm really excited to check this game out. I don't think I'll ever own a 3DS so hearing this confirmed was great news (well, it was confirmed in my mind a few days ago when the achievements leaked, but still).

PS: I'm in the same boat of trying to decide between Tiger Woods and Hot Shots (already have the Vita Hot Shots)

I want to take the opportunity to shill for The Unfinished Swan, which was created by a good friend of mine. If anyone is on the fence, I highly recommend it. Film fans will also appreciate the cool but strangely unpublicized celebrity voice actor (not going to spoil it but I'm sure you can google it).

'13 denotes the year, so it's saying that it's a sale on 13 games for 2013.

I kinda wanted to get tiger woods also but then I saw a review that said that nearly half the courses are locked and you have to pay to unlock them. Buying the courses(dlc) apparently doesn't even unlock them forever. Just for a certain amount of rounds.

Ugh, I bought Jet Set Radio last month for 7 bucks. I knew the price would go lower than that eventually, but not this soon.

Still waiting on Sonic 4 Episode II to hit $5-7.

Same! I hope hoarders save some for us! I think I have, at least, 3 games I'm gonna buy.

Posted from my PlayStation Vita.
Maybe I'm thinking of last year, but I know one of the recent Tiger Woods games changed the control scheme and it wasn't very well received.
It's this one, I loved Tiger Woods 2011 and 2012. I only played the demo and disliked it so much I never even gave it another chance.

Why do I feel Like the PSN store staff is terrible at their jobs

Oh no! This week we need to reduce prices on several more than usual! How are we to ever upload this jpeg that announces the sale!

I don't mind if its 730 or 430 but be consistent!

I'm guessing they're just preparing for the upcoming large amount of traffic. I honestly still don't expect for downloads to finish anytime soon, just hoping to get them started without constant connection errors.

I'm also waiting for a similar price on Sonic 4 Episode II. Here's to hoping. Glad I never jumped on the Jak HD collection seeing as how Precursor's is the only one I was super interested in. I never played 3 but if it was just more of 2, I don't think I missed too horribly much.

...but...but... 3 > 2 > 1. One of the few series that got better with each entry.

The release announcement PR mentions a digital discount for the PSN version of Ni No Kuni:
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is available now; exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system in North America and Latin America with both English and Japanese voiceovers included. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is available for purchase at video game retailers nationwide for a MSRP of $59.99 for the packaged version or $54.99 for the digital version available via download on the PlayStation Network. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch carries an ESRB rating of ”E10+” for Everyone 10+.
Surprising move for Namco.

There should be no weekly preparation when you expect traffic spikes on the same day each week. It is extremely clear that the SEN team is extremely inefficient, understaffed, or both.

Its not like this is a rare occurrence for them

On topic: Excited to grab LBPK and Jak
I kinda wanted to get tiger woods also but then I saw a review that said that nearly half the courses are locked and you have to pay to unlock them. Buying the courses(dlc) apparently doesn't even unlock them forever. Just for a certain amount of rounds.
To clarify (based on what reviews say) you can unlock the courses permanently. But it involves completing a high number of "challenges" such as hitting the fairway X number of times or getting a birdie Y number of times, all of which have to be completed on the course you wish to unlock. So you have to earn enough coins/XP to give you temporary access to the course enough times that you are able to complete the challenges to gain permament access. (or just buy the damn things since that appears to be what they actually want you to do.)

So yeah, not doing that. It's like locking out half of the NFL teams in Madden and making me play for hours just for the opportunity to unlock the team I want.

Hot Shots Golf it is!

PS: I believe it's 20 out of 36 courses in Tiger Woods 13 are locked.

Not the best place to ask, but I might have a better chance at an answer here.

I just got my new super slim ps3 today and I'm wondering if I can just plug my old slim ps3 AC adapter into it instead of having to go behind my entertainment center to switch the wires.

The cables look the same so I'm thinking its fine but I just want to make sure.

Wow! That is a shocking. Why don't companies get that this is how you encourage digital purchases?! This is how you thwart used game sales. Even if it is just a negligible discount.
...but...but... 3 > 2 > 1. One of the few series that got better with each entry.
Ehhh idk man, perhaps it was the fact that 2 was such a departure from 1 but it didn't sit well with me. The first one was, in my opinion, one of the last great platformers. Well aware they were going the way of the dodo, but that didn't keep me from wanting more.
Wow! That is a shocking. Why don't companies get that this is how you encourage digital purchases?! This is how you thwart used game sales. Even if it is just a negligible discount.
If they came out and said $49.99 imagine just how many more sales they would get. $5 is still good, but I'm personally going to try to wait for a sale on retail, but will probably end up getting it for MSRP on retail just because it seems to be that kind of game deserving of a case and what not.

Edit: The post above me is even more proof of my above statement.
