I will never leave this thread since its one my favorite on CAG. I'm sure other regions see our selection of games and want some instead. Also I don't see anybody wishing they had a JP PS+ subscription. That's why people should just decide on which region they want.

I know the crying will never stop.
Makes me glad as hell I got in on that 59.99 deal, still overpriced, but so worth it
Still upset I missed out on this. I had to settle for the 16GB, and I'm already losing space. With Nina Giden, I'll have about ~400MB left LOL

Lol I missed on the site and got BB to pm it. Nearly settled for the 16gb myself
Next month not this week.
Arkham city and now this holy moly:drool: . I hope we get that next month too, but seems wishful thinking knowing what we got just recently.

It's overpriced

but worth it

?

Just a friendly reminder to everyone clearing Vita space for Ninja Gaiden Sigma+ (personally, this is the most excited I've been about a PS+ release since it came to Vita), do not just delete games off the Vita menu unless you don't mind deleting your saved game progress too. You need to transfer the full game file to a PS3 or PC to keep your saved games.

Or update on Cloud as rpg reminded me.

NGS is a good pick up! There are very few PSV titles that are quality. So this is awesome. The PS Blog is really blowing up over this EU deal. Sure we won't be getting as good of games but this isn't the week to freak out about it. This is why we need the monthly update back!

And Cloud, yes! I'd forgotten. Got a 32GB memory card recently so I'd forgotten...

What are you guys packing? I got a 32gb card this month and I'm having a difficult time seeing how I would fill it up -- then again I'm the type that dislikes clutter and deletes unused files.
so its worth it for that price...which wouldnt make it over priced...
Not that I want to step in... the statement isn't exactly an oxymoron. It's like when you pay for the extra storage on your cellphone / tablet or MSRP on Vita memory cards. I think my 32 gb card is worth the "extra" cost for the connivence, but I still think the card shouldn't have cost more than $50 dollars. Same sort of concept here.

All the free full Vita games from PS+, HSG:WI, PSASBR, LBP2 Cross Controller, the AR Bundle that was on sale, plus some of the other free little games on PSN, like Jetpack Joyride and Foosball lol. If more games supported cross play/cross buy, I'd be really out of space now.

Not really sure why your trying to play grammar nazi or something lol. Unless I need to spell it out like a 5 year old.

Its more than I expected to pay, hence the overpriced. But the convenience was worth that higher price. Okay buddy?

Maybe if you weren't trying to bait me, you could tell thats what I was trying to say in my original post.

THIS IS STUPID.

Anyway, really happy about NGS+. I'd been planning on picking it up eventually, as I have fond memories of the original on the old Xbox and hadn't ever played Black/Sigma or the sequels. Looking forward to getting my ass kicked by this game again.

Sigma 2 was easily my favorite, and the Vita version comes out next month. Got my ass kicked to town in back in Sigma, enjoy the rage and badassery come tomorrow.

Very cool PS+ addition. I have not played Sigma yet(played Black back in the day though), but I hope its better than Sigma 2. That game is a fucking trainwreck. I have never seen an "upgraded" edition with so many downgrades.
We need a game reporter to discuss the reasons behind different EU and US plus games and how it works. Set it up on Kickstarter, I'll buy a share for 10 bucks to get this info.

I played NG2 (non-sigma) and felt the same way though. Compared to black it felt about 8 steps backwards. I only suffered through about half the game before I got fed up with it (I stopped after the lake or river part when you need to run across it and avoid mines while fighting a camera that refuses to cooperate.)

Why? The difference in quality is probably just Sony making different deals and every regions personal take on this. EU was always the best region... they had better promotions, unique free avatars, plus many of the free themes were there first. (some are still exclusive to EU) Transversely Japan has always contained the worst plus offering, so clearly they don't put forth a lot of effort. Not a whole lot more to it than this, besides the fact that people constantly bring up the US vs EU debate, which leads to more and more and more and more and yet more hateful comments.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013...s-update-ninja-gaiden-sigma-free-for-members/

Here's the full PS+ update for this week:
January is almost over, and we have one more Plus update for you, but first let’s reminisce on this month’s offerings, shall we? Plus member freebies included NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, Darksiders, Mega Man 9 and 10, along with Foosball 2012, and we there were some awesome deals with the 13 for ’13 discounts (last day is today). Topping it all off was access to the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta, and the 12+3 Plus promotion where you can buy one year of Plus and get three extra months at no additional cost; which is active right now.

We’re sending January off by welcoming Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for PS Vita, free for Plus members! There are also some amazing PSN gems at fantastic prices that you may have missed. Read on and enjoy the update, which takes effect when the PlayStation Store updates on January 29th.
Don’t have PlayStation Plus? Go to the PlayStation Store on your PS3 or PS Vita to purchase, or click here to get instant access via the Sony Entertainment Network online store.

January 29th PlayStation Plus Update

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (PS Vita)

Free for PS Plus members

One of the highest-rated action games is back and better than ever. Experience a new way to play one of the finest editions of Ninja Gaiden Sigma with motion & touch controls, tons of content, and new challenges to test even the toughest ninja. Be warned though, Ninja Gaiden is a tough game, but the feeling of mastering the combat and handling your foes is second to none.

Madden 13 Sale (PS3 and PS Vita)

30% off for PS Plus members

With the Super Bowl right around the corner (go Niners!), our friends at EA are happy to help everyone get ready for the big game by offering both PS3 and PS Vita versions of Madden 13 for 30% off.

Madden 13 (PS3) – Original Price: $41.99; PS Plus Price: $29.39
Madden 13 (PS Vita) – Original Price: $27.99; PS Plus Price: $19.59

Gatling Gears (PS3)

50% off for PS Plus members (Original price: $4.99; PS Plus Price: $2.50)

When the Empire begins its reign of destruction in a thirst for natural resources, it’s up to Max Brawley, a retired Gatling Gear pilot, to stop them. Together with his niece and his trusty Gatling Gear unit he must fight his way to the heart of the Empire and eliminate the destruction at its source. Grab the game that IGN.com called “a joy to play”, at a steal of a price.

Section 8: Prejudice (PS3)

50% off for PS Plus members (Original price: $9.99; PS Plus Price: $5.00)

Pick up this sci-fi first person shooter with dynamic combat at an amazing price. In Section 8: Prejudice, every decision drastically impacts the battlefield. Discover the sinister series of betrayals that threaten humanity’s survival in the single-player campaign; or battle up to 32 players in multiple game modes as you complete a variety of Dynamic Combat Missions.

Greed Corp (PS3) (US and Canada only)

50% off for PS Plus members (Original price: $4.99; PS Plus Price: $2.50)

Why share when you can have it all? Greed Corp is an online multiplayer strategy game in which you battle for dominance over a world once rich in resources. In order to prevail, you must exhaust all remaining resources to build an army, and use the depleted collapsing terrain to your advantage. An extensive campaign mode and multiple unlockables are also waiting to help you prepare to take the battle online.

Good week for Vita owners. Garbage week for PS3 owners. Oh well maybe next week will be better. 13 for 13 was enough to keep me busy for a while.

Dang. I was holding off buying NGS+ because I just didn't think I could do it on Vita controls (I'm not nearly as good with these small analog sticks and awkward feel when holding it). But since I platted NGS2 and NG3, I probably should try it out anyway...
You should be able to buy them on the new PSN website
Pardon my ignorance, but you can do that now? How? Because my PS3 is still not letting me on the store and I really want "The Unfinished Swan" badly.

Gatling Gears is pretty good for $2.50. Greed Corp was kind of fun, but it got pretty challenging for me by the end. Still, I'd say it's worth $2.50. So there's still a couple decent deals for PS3.

I wish that Madden was a little bit cheaper. I'd love to get it for around $10, either digital or retail.

my god this is far the best ps+deal for me,
I always wanted to play ninja gaiden (well I think I still have the ps3 title)

didn't expect this at all

Wow was looking around for cheap copies of Ninja Gaiden Vita, this worked out very well. Cant wait to download it and try it on Vita. Loving my PS+ membership and definitely gonna get the 12 + 3 promo i think.
i'm still debating lbp karting...I wonder if the game would have scored higher if it was originally a $10 download...
Me too. Some of the reviews made it sound like the tracks are terrible and the weapon system is broken.

At first I did not like the deal knowing EU+ will get sleeping dogs next month, but after watching the gamespot review saying this is one of the best action games of all time I got hyped af :). Can't wait to play this once I beat gravity rush.

EDIT: LBPK is great for $10. I've played the game last year and plenty of people go race in the community levels. There are probably more online players now after that $10 deal. Another thing that is great is that LBP 1 & 2 costumes also works on this one. Lots of garbage tracks made by users, but there are a lot too that are worth trying.

NGS+ is for US+ Jan, while Sleeping Dogs is for EU+ Feb. I don't think we know what US+ is getting for Feb yet, so can't compare just yet.

Just an FYI about the 12+3 promo that is currently active where you get 3 months free of PS+ when buying a full year. It seems as if any activation of a year of PS+ triggers the promotion automatically.

I had G-stop credit to burn after Christmas and had purchased a 1 year membership card a while back in order to re-up my PS+ account. Being as my current 30 day subscription was set to expire in a few days I thought I'd activate it today. Lo and behold, I was given the bonus 3 months after inputting the scratch off code from the 12 month card I purchased over a month ago.

The message indicating that I would by using the promotion triggered as soon as I finished putting it in. About $3.33 per month for PS+? What a great deal! Way to go Sony!:applause:

Woot! NG+ for the VITA!!!
which reminds me, I received a PS+ Code for Europe for one month.
Does anyone want it?
