The Vita version is the main reason I bought the game too. I will certainly be disappointed and would expect some sort of remuneration if it doesn't come out.
Same here. Bought it thinking I would get the vita version which I would play way more. I'm gonna be pissed if it doesn't come out.
I grabbed Ninja just in case I ever get a Vita.

I saw the original Motorstorm at Gamestop used for $2. Is that game worth buying?
Not unless you want to see how PS3 games were back around launch before things like updates and multiplayer were standardized features. It's still a good game, but the two sequels are much better games.

For those that bought/renewed their ps+ subscription for the current promo, were the extra months automatically tacked on to your account or have they not shown up yet?
I'd like to know what is supposed to normally happen. I had an issue with a card that I bought at Best Buy and Sony is in the process of giving me a replacement code (after scanning my receipt and card).

I bought a 12 month card from Best Buy yesterday and it just added 15 months to my subscription automatically. It was then that I realized I have a subscription until the end of 2016, so I think I will hold off of taking advantage of any more PS Plus subscription deals for awhile. I sure hope PS Plus is still good in 2016...
Sleeping Dogs is gonna be free for EU PS+ members in February. Man I hope there's a shot at that coming to US as well...
Doubtful - we will probably get another fighting game or Resistance 1 (just my guess).

I extended my ps+ sub just recently, why did the dates on my dl list got messed up? Is that normal? Most of my stuff changed dates to the date I entered my + code wc was 28th.

All of your older PS+ stuff is bumped up to the latest date of renewal on the download list.

Anyone know if you can copy over a Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus game save? I want to switch to the Plus digital version, but it apparently doesn't support Cloud Saving (it won't let me select, nor is it on my server) and I don't see it listed when I try to transfer info.

secretly hope some of the old PS+ (free) games make a comeback :/

and also it seems that games will ultimately be released in both regions.. hope Motorstorm will come over then

It saves on the card, so insert that, then try to upload the save to the cloud. That's how I uploaded my MK save to the cloud.
That looks pretty impressive.
Then you notice the inconsistent framerate. Seeing it can go to 60 FPS makes it all the more worrisome.

Very nice. Thank you!

Well the game doesn't even come out until September so I imagine they have time to fine tune the game more since it more than likely isn't completed yet.

Developers often say that optimizations are one of the last things done before the game ships. Like Wompdevil said: there's plenty of time for them to fine tune things.

That's what I am hoping especially considering that the Ultimate addition is on sale as well right now.

Yesterday was the last PSN store update for the month of January. We were told end of January the game would be available. It isn't. That's a lie.
I sure hope you're joking... we already had Far Cry 2...
I'm assuming that he misread the PS+ update for last year since we got it for Valentine's Day 2012.
Same here. A friend and I bought that during a road trip on release week, specifically for the vita copy so we could play on our travels. Of course that didn't happen because sony LIED about the crossbuy feature. And if it never happens, I'll be returning my opened copy.
Shit happens... Would you prefer Sony just said "We will publish it when it's done"? They gave a release date, they couldn't make good, they informed fans. Also don't forget that Sony offered some free DLC for FFA over the first delay...

By purchasing Full Frontal Assault for PS3, which launches on November 27, players will still get the portable edition for Vita with cross-save and cross-play functionality when it's done next year. To make up for the delay, the first downloadable content -- the Mini-Boss Skin Pack, pictured below -- will be given out as a freebie to those buyers.

Sure this sucks, but this isn't the first time it happened. Hopefully it will go better, but I am still waiting on my Resistance Burning Skies avatars...
Hmm...probably not the right place to discuss this, but this R&C FFA thing is getting interesting. Websites are now reporting the Vita version has been canceled, which doesn't really make sense. But Insomniac issued a message saying that they basically can't say anything about it, per Sony. I didn't know this, but Insomniac was not porting it over to the Vita, and has no interest to ever develop for the Vita. The developer is a company called Tin Giant, which apparently has no discernible footprint on the internet.

Hopefully this game surfaces and is playable. It's definitely the reason I bought R&C FFA.

EDIT: After doing some internet sleuthing, it looks like Tin Giant probably at least exists, and probably have something to do with the Idol Minds, the developer who ported the R&C HD Collection. Yes, I'm bored.
Never checked the date its last year sorry. Epic fail.

Still make a EU account if you want Sleeping Dogs.

I'm hoping we get Dead Space 1 or 2 with 3 coming out next week.

Pardon the ignorance if this has been covered, I'm new to PS+...But wouldn't you need another PS+ subscription if you did that? It kind of defeats the purpose to spend 35-50 on a new PS+ sub for Europe when you could just buy Sleeping Dogs for 10-20.

Well, plus all the future games that EU will get that are always better than the US. So, the potential value is definitely there.

If you just want Sleeping Dogs yet its a waste, but that's a 3 month subscription which EU always gets the better games. Also they have a sale Tuesday which their price is 7.99 which is around $11 US.

Just keep in mind having two plus accounts wouldn't be any good for the Vita as only one account can be linked to it at a time(and games from another account can't be played). .

EU also tends to do free 1 months (like the Facebook promo), so you could get Sleeping Dogs for free. The only issue would be getting a CC that worked in Europe.
I'll just wait for them to add Sleeping Dogs to the US PS+. If they don't, they don't. Oh well.
I feel the same as you, the SD demo didn't win me over really, but admittedly that genre's not my thing, but if free I would give it a whirl. Racers weren't the favorite thing in that genre poll they did for + a couple weeks back, but I wouldn't mind Motorstorm: Apoc, even as old as it is, I never played it. My super reaching stretch pick for a game if they decide to give us something new for a change like they do for Europe is Dishonored, which they actually used as an example of an "Action game" in the poll I mentioned, so maybe?

Speaking of Sleeping Dogs, I had no idea the same developers were behind Little Big Planet Karting. LBPK isn't a bad game by any means, but it's definitely missing that "je ne sais quoi". It just needed some more time and love. Sleeping Dogs, on the other hand, is brilliant. Best open world game this gen, so it's disappointing that they couldn't apply that same finesse to the barren wasteland that LBPK appears to be.
Do those even exist for Assassins Creed? I know the deluxe version of ACII was released in UK but IIRC it is pretty rare and you sure as hell won't find it cheaper than the $10 PSN has it for. I don't think they exist at all for Brotherhood/Revelations.

I am actually working through ACII, it is pretty damn fun. I reckon I will pick up Brotherhood now since the disc is a little pricier and had content cut from the game.. All in all I would prefer GOTY versions as well but unless you have a PC that can run these games I think this is about a good as a deal as you will find on ACII and ACB for awhile.

Wouldnt bite on Revelations though unless you just have to have all the maps and DLC. The disc version has gone for as little as $10 before, I bet with some effort you could nab it for under $15.
No they don't in the US at least. I was just saying that I don't want digital download, so I'd rather get nothing (and miss out on the DLC) if there won't be a retail release.

I already have all the Assassin's Creed base games on retail, so I'd purchase the GOTY ones specifically for the DLC (and probably trade/sell the non-goty ones).

Since there's no "Ultimate Edition" retail disc, I'll just not experience the DLC. I'm alright with that.

Lol. I've only played the demo and watched some videos, but that was my same reaction upon reading that.
I don't have a Vita, but can't you switch between accounts to get the other games?
Not unless you want to do a factory reset of the Vita. Like the person who you quoted stated, only one PSN account can be linked to a Vita at any given time.

I quite enjoyed Sleeping Dogs. The missions are varied enough to spice things up and the driving is the best I've seen in any open world game to date. They could come out with a game called Sleeping Dogs Racing and I'd totally pick it up. I'd give Sleeping Dogs my vote for best Sandbox game this gen.

^This. Sleeping Dog has my vote for best Sandbox of this gen.

I love the focus more on fluid combat than just guns. I love that feel you get when you just kung fu someones ass. The missions are pretty cool and story is interesting, won't win any awards. It also helps I love the setting is in Honky Kong.

EDIT: Fixed
