So I played some of urban trial earlier. It's a decent alternative to trials but not near as polished. My only gripes would be the controls are much looser than in trials ( if that makes any sense) & at times there is so much screen clutter that its hard to see what's going on. I can't recommend it to anyone that owns a 360, buy trials instead. If the ps3 is your only system then like I said, it's a decent alternative. Glad my $10 psn bonus paid for most of it.

I'm pretty sure I used to be like that, about 5-7 years ago when I was in my late teens/early 20's. It was mostly in regards to movies, but kind of with everything. My friends would always say "Ah man, don't listen to him, he hates everything." One day I actually took that to heart and realized that they weren't just joking around.

I'm glad I did. Life is too short to hate on everything. I try to stay critical in my thought processes, but I also try to stay positive and look for the bright side of things whenever I can.

nothing is revealed except PS1-PS3 games will on on gaikai for many devices (not only PS4). and will be out in phases, so I wouldn't expect all that to work at launch.

First, you linked to this latest page, so your proof is nothing.

Second, I didn't say anything about whether it would or would not happen. I don't care at all to get into that discussion. You were preaching to the ignorant masses in this thread that they shouldn't waste their money on PSN because of whatever would happen with PS4, which was done over a very obnoxious set of posts. You were derailing the thread with stuff that had nothing to do with the thread, so I replied to tell you to knock it off. If they can get the cloud thing to work well then it's going to be amazing. Just to think I can go back and get any PS 1, 2, 3 game and then play it through the cloud on my PS3 or Vita would be mind blowing.

Unfortunately these kind of announcements always sound cooler than they turn out being (kinect as for example)

I probably would of just sat out the generation, none of Xbox's exclusives are that much of a draw to me and most of the quality 3rd party games I can get for PC instead.

Yeah, I think that could be a dealbreaker for many. I'd imagine either both systems would block used games or neither would. If only one did it would be extremely foolish.

Unrelated, I downloaded and played a little bit of Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, it's pretty awesome. I love the art style and it will be fun to replay Mega Man X with a slightly different flavor.

Also unrelated, can anyone recommend those Vita grip things? Do they work well? And what's a good price to pay for them? Thanks in advance.

I agree... I really didn't want to agree since you mentioned Slidecage. But BC < $$ IMO. There's no reason to jack the price up even more so I can trash my PS3. Just hold on to your damn PS3 people. It's not rocket science. Sure, I'm bummed by the lack of BC for digital but it looks like a patch will solve that issue too. PLUS, If I'm buying a PS4 I want to play new things... not old stuff I can already play without spending extra money. Also, how the hell did all this get thrown into this thread anyway?! Hori grips are pretty nice. It's the ones i picked up. They're adjustable and don't block any ports or anything. Here's the one I bought.

Yeah if one did and the other didn't that would pretty much decide who would win the console war imo.

I wished they brought over the PS1 versions of Megaman x. Playing them on a vita would kick ass.

All i read was Entitled, entitled, entitled. Don't you realize that they'd basically have to sell you a PS3 slim inside your PS4? Why would you want to willingly rebuy a second PS3 just so you can sell your old one for less than the increased cost? Makes no sense to me...

There is nothing about being "entitled" with expecting that a game system in 2013, that has all of this stuff they can add to these consoles, that they would be able to include something like being able to play an older disc. If they had the capability in their last two systems (well until they stupidly took it out of the PS3 later on), nothing should stop them from being able to offer that.

They try to make their system like a computer for your TV, yet they can get something like being able to play older discs enabled on them. I'm not a computer gamer, but I'm sure if your computer with the latest gaming setup (graphic cards, RAM, etc.) can play the newest games as well as play older games.

I'm not here saying I'm boycotting the system or anything like that. That's just stupid. Hell, it doesn't bother me all that much or I would have the backwards compatible PS3 right. I'm just saying they can have all of these bells and whistles on this thing except the one thing that I know a lot of gamers want to see on their new systems besides update graphics and all of that. I understand and agree with why people want BC on the consoles.
