I'm really excited about wild arms. I passed it up back in the day because of limited allowance. Guess I get to add it to my backlog and hope for a great memory card sale so I can add a bunch of these games.
It's a great game for it's day and the puzzles were fairly simple. The music (especially in the opening sequence) is terrific and memorable. For free, everyone with an rpg taste should at least give it a try.

Oh god could you have used a Worst color?

Free games are always awesome!

Plus they are all good games too double bonus!

Will grab Pure Chess, UMvC3, and I'm on the fence about a few others

Guess I better go buy that 32gb card that is on sale right now
Im guessing Crysis or Crysis 2
Crysis 2 seems most likely considering that Crysis 3 just came out. I will be disappointed if it's a Call of Doodie game.

yes! finally get to get rid of my UMVC3 cart. That's a game you gotta have on demand all the time...

I wanna get blazblue also, but damn they release a new one twice a year. Gonna get Stranger's Wrath instead. I like GGXX better anyway
Oh god could you have used a Worst color?
I think that's his way of telling everyone they should really be a PS Plus member. With Plus, there are hidden benefits like readable font colors. :)
Oh god could you have used a Worst color?
What sausage color would you have preferred?

The correct word is Worse.
Hmm, Sine Mora for $7 is tempting, but I can't decide between Vita or PS3. There's no difference between the two (I just know I want it on PSN since it has some exclusive content), but I feel I'd rather have a bigger screen so I can easily all the stuff easier, especially for a shmup.

Sumioni for $10.50 seems decent, but I can't help but feel it'll be on sale again.
Wait, is Sine Mora cross buy? I don't have a Vita so I didn't even read the Blog post, but if they are putting stuff on sale that I could also play on PS3, my attention is piqued.

No

 • March 12th – Quantum Conundrum
 • March 19th – Dungeon Defenders
 • March 19th – Foosball 2012 PS Vita

 • Joe Danger 2: The Movie (PS3)
 • Tekken 6 (PSP; Supported on PS Vita)
 • The Cave (PS3)
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013...ch-update-spec-ops-the-line-free-for-members/

So it is Spec Ops, eh? I'm indifferent since I've already beat it, but great game nonetheless. Pretty excited about Disgaea, Joe Danger 2, and The Cave though.
^Way sweet that we're getting free games. Lame that I'm gonna eat $1.50 on Knytt Underground, which I just bought a couple weeks ago at 40% off.

Also note that they mention the current Vita sales do end tomorrow.
Everything was what I wanted/expected except for Tekken6 and for it being on the Vita.
While it could quite literally be any shooter out there (As I've already mentioned, needing to state it wasn't inversion after saying critically acclaimed doesn't inspire confidence.), I doubt it's Crysis.
To be fair, the quote was something like "turned the genre on its head" which is why they ended up needing to be clear it wasn't Inversion.

But Spec Ops is confirmed, so we're all good.

I got Joe Danger 2: The Movie free on XBLA from Raptr and it's quite fun, though be prepared for a LOOOOOOOOT of trial & error.

Not sure if I'll try The Cave or not. A shame I can't get Disgaea 3 due to my situation. Been meaning to try the series for sometime outside of the Prinny PSP games. Spec Ops: The Line, I'll probably try just due to the fact it's done in a way it's very different from other shooters, which I don't tend to be a big fan of.

Glad I decided to trade in my copy of Disgaea in yesterday. Nice selection, especially Spec Ops.

Interesting choice for the fighting game.

I may buy UMVC3 since I have been wanting it and possibly Stranger's Wrath( wish it was cross buy though). kind of disappointed that the fighting game is Tekken 6...was hoping for Mortal Kombat. Can't wait to play Disgaea 3 though.

Whoa, that's a generous discount on dokuro. Cheaper than any of us assumed. Wonder why they did it that way. Now, I'll most likely pick it up.

Ugh, I think I have all those free games and I don't think I'm interested in any of the sales.
I'll have to research whatever games people are raving about to see if they're interesting to me.

edit:Disagea 3, yeah, I'll try that I guess

I really like this full month all at once listing. Now we will only see a day or two of complaints about EU vs. US PS Plus.

I think I liked this format for announcing PS+ games: Telling us what we'll get for the month, but not telling us the specific days so we're left to guess which days will get which games, leaving room for speculation.

Some good games are leaving EU+ very soon (Sleeping Dogs, Vanquish, and Limbo) so if anyone is getting EU+ do it today.

If you can manage to get them to send you a code somehow, game.co.uk has the 1 year subs on sale for 30 Euro (about $39).

Well I will play Spec Ops again since I already did on 360. Same with Joe Danger 2. Nice to see the Cave. PS+ is starting to make me not want to buy anything. I should play through as much of PS+ first before I start anything else.

Yep, PS+ games plus any titles I can't wait to play (Hello Tomb Raider!) is all I need anymore. It's still more than enough with the limited time I have for gaming.

fantastic update, ps+ offerings and freebies and vita sale. crazy how they stop the big sky and knytt sale last week and then have it even more on sale this week. pays to be patient always i guess. glad i didnt pickup the cave and disgaea 3 lately.

i still have wild arms alter code f in my backlog. lol

Does anyone know if the PS+ subscription counts towards the $50/$10 deal? I'm already a subscriber, but it was ending soon and I re-subscribed yesterday.

Only thing I lack is Spec Ops (surprised this was indeed the game), anyone think it's actually worth downloading?

Also for those trophy hunters out there that aren't sure about The Cave, be warned it takes 6 cycles to 100% and a LOT of doing the exact same thing. You will also need a guide if you want to make sure to 100% it within 6 cycles.

I just sold off my copy of Disgaea 3 last weekend under the umbrella of "I'll buy it digitally when its cheap to keep going with the million characters"

So, I guess I have great timing!

I just beat spec ops yesterday and traded it in. Guess now I just have to play it again on fubar when we get it since I have over 80% of the trophies.

If you like military shooters it's one of the best in my opinion.
Very happy about Spec Ops - finally a full retail game I want and don't already have!
Was just about to post something like this. I've had plus from the beginning and this is the first full game that fits those parameters for me (don't already have it, am actually interested in trying it). Stoked for Tuesday (though I will probably be too wrapped up in Tomb Raider to play right away).
Does anyone know if the PS+ subscription counts towards the $50/$10 deal? I'm already a subscriber, but it was ending soon and I re-subscribed yesterday.
Yes it does count. If you bought a year of PS+ that should be all you need to get the $10 back in April.

Bought Spec Ops on PC for $2.50 in Jan, so it doesn't do much for me. Kinda wish they'd also have the PS3 version of Disgaea 3, since I don't have a Vita. Otherwise, pretty good. Never got around to getting the original Joe Danger, but I liked the demo. Also looking forward to The Cave despite lackluster reviews.

Whew I was so close of buying Spec ops for $13 from GF last night. Then I just told myself to just wait a bit more so I can get it for $10.. Getting it for free is even better. Great month for +, I like all the free games.

Spec Ops is def worth downloading! are you crazy? lol
but seriously yeah, it has great shooting mechanics, great plot and characters, i loved the trippy scenario and the heart of darkness vibe. i thnk you would enjoy it, it's pretty gorgeous too. It also tries to get emo on ya, which isn't my thing, but still awesome for a shooter to try to get in your head.

My fav part tho is Nolan North yelling obscenities towards the end of the game. Capt Walker just starts yelling after every other headshot and isn't the happy lets kill the badguys war hero call of duty expects us to play as.
Only thing I lack is Spec Ops (surprised this was indeed the game), anyone think it's actually worth downloading?
Absolutely. It's not all that long, but that makes it an even better argument for you to play it. It's a ton of fun with a great narrative behind it.

Yup, it counts.

Edit: Beat to it..

I already have Spec Ops but am glad many more will play it now.

Definitely happy to be getting Disgaea, Joe Danger, and The Cave for myself. :)
