Thanks for all the updates FriskyTanuki. I am downloading all the free games. I just updated my Vita to 2.05 and now I am getting error codes, off to google to try to find answers.
i prefer hard trophies in general. Super Stardust Delta, for example, has cakewalk trophies. I beat the game on my second try (granted, i've got solid but rusty Super Stardust skillz) and had all campaign related trophies over and done with.
I wouldn't call them hard as much as I would call them long. You're looking at 60+ hours to get them all.
I was going to get ogrerhythem and sumoini but then I looked at reviews....sigh...anybody have positive things to say about either of these?
Try the demos.
If you have MediaGo on your computer and sign into the store, both should show up as free. I just downloaded them myself for my PSP.
This, Worked for me too also.

Sine Mora is a Suda51 game, right? I don't know if I should buy it for the Vita or PS3. I try to buy the PS3 version when I have to choose between the two but it's on sale for Vita and it seems better for the Vita. Hmmm, plus I don't even like shoot em ups that much, really the only reason I'm interested in this is because of Suda51. Maybe I should just skip it.

I'm getting both Sumioni and Orgarhythm even though Orgarhythm has ad-hoc trophies. Ah well.
Try the demos.
only have a 4 gb card and would have to delete persona 3 to play the demos x.x. Would rather avoid that if people just generally didn't enjoy them.

Orgarthym got mostly positive reviews... the only bad one was mine or was mine anyway. I thought it was overly convoluted and extremely difficult to play. To the point where only like 40 people have the trophy for beating it.

If you own a PS3, just transfer the games over there instead of having to redownload them.
c'mon, update...
tourista needs some disgaea!
You're gonna be waiting for Disgaea a little while longer considering it's not in this week's update.

I can confirm that the free games for Vita display as free on the PSP's store as well. Just got all of them and downloading Wild Arms on my PS3.

just realized that. somehow came under the impression they were reverting to monthly deals again...

They're just announcing everything once a month now.

Blog is up, by the way.

tottaly forgot you could do that x.x Thanks for reminding me!

i checked the store and looked at the thread, but did ps3 users not get anything new or discounted this week? thanks

nevermind i found this. this is kinda bullshit , this happened with psp and now it is happening with ps3

Blog says Stranger's Wrath is $7.34 for Plus. Please tell me they're right...

EDIT: Haha I'm a moron. I keep forgetting that the PSN webstore exists and I can just check there. Sorry.

And it's a typo. Damn it!

Yeah.... only thats not the case.... They are simply focusing on Vita as its the anniversary sale. Next week will be back to some ps3 sales. I love how just because PS4 is announced, everyone thinks they are being abandoned, yet the history of support for PS1 and PS2 has shown a 10 year span.

If your a PS+ member, go enjoy your free spec ops. ;)

Five retail games, three PSN games, two PS2 classics, and four demos, what the fuck are you talking about?

No, it's mostly made by Hungarian developer Digital Reality but was co-developed with Grasshopper Manufacture.

Exclusive to the PlayStation 3 is a skillful Challenge Mode tasking players to test their talents in 1-2 minute challenges that make use of Story Mode levels. The PlayStation Vita introduces new touch controls, a GPS Unlock Gallery that conveys the player’s cumulative progression, and unlockable rewards such as concept art. In addition, both versions include new character Wilhelmina Muller and her “UD Bomb” sub-weapon. The enigmatic Muller originally appeared in G.Rev’s cult-hit Under Defeat and will be appearing in the upcoming Under Defeat HD. The “UD Bomb” weapon opens up new opportunities to clear the screen of enemies with its radial blue laser effect that starts a detonation wave to eliminate opposing forces.

what happened to disgaea 3 being free for ps +, did that not happen this week, and is going to happen next week? It's weird cuz on the psn blog it says "last chance" 3/12..so maybe it hasn't updated yet? Shows 39.99 still for me. Anyone know? Thanks!

Along with some DLC, Tomb Raider on PSN also includes Quantum Conundrum with purchase.

Spec Ops: The Line is the free game for this week, so everything else for PS+ will happen later this month. The Vita games will probably be the last two weeks of the month.

Off topic guys: But anyone who preorderd DMC from Gamestop, did you get any email about redeeming the code for Vergil's Downfall yet?

I confirm as well, the PSP and PS1 PS+ games can be purchased for free through the PSP store.

i know it's not on sale or anything, but how is Ragnarok Odyssey? i just played the demo and... can't decide. had fun with it, but does it get better or get staler?

I kinda want to get a capcom fighter, but I recall not liking mcv3 and never played sfxtekken. Wish I had picked up Alpha 3 Max when it was on sale.
If you have MediaGo on your computer and sign into the store, both should show up as free. I just downloaded them myself for my PSP.
Hey that worked and it also added them to my purchase/download list so I don't have to worry about it expiring before I get my Vita back.

Thanks for the info!

I couldn't get through the Orgarhythm demo, I got stuck on the catapult tutorial. Sumioni felt quite a bit better but I'm concerned there's not a whole lot of content in that game, more research required. That PSP Patchwork game is really cool though!
When ever I look up Wild Arms on the PC or the PS3 it does not have the option to buy - free or for full price. Anyone else notice this?
Answered earlier, but you have to access via Vita or PSP.

I don't know why but my Vita has very slow download speeds, which isn't a problem since I can just re-download through the PS3 and transfer, but is this common with anyone else?

Okay, so I got to Chapter 3 of Knytt Underground... and then four hours passed without me realizing it. if you enjoy exploring in games you must not pass this up. It starts out slow and fairly constrained but you'll hit a point where the world opens up to an absolutely ludicrous degree. I explored nearly 500 rooms and still only have roughly half the map filled in.

Also important: while there is running around and item-collecting, there seems to be very little, if any, in the way of upgrades allowing you to traverse previously untraverseable paths. There are lots of things which you can't pass until you reach the point I previously mentioned at which the world opens up before you, and there are doors which can't be passed until you complete a quest or crcle around behind them, but there's no "now you have the ice beam, go back to the fire zone" type stuff.
i know it's not on sale or anything, but how is Ragnarok Odyssey? i just played the demo and... can't decide. had fun with it, but does it get better or get staler?
I loved Ragnarok Odyssey. The gameplay was solid and you can freely switch between classes or use your favorite armor without it being out classed. It will take you a while to get "super" powerful, though you can do this alone or with friends.
I couldn't get through the Orgarhythm demo, I got stuck on the catapult tutorial. Sumioni felt quite a bit better but I'm concerned there's not a whole lot of content in that game, more research required. That PSP Patchwork game is really cool though!
Told ya it was convoluted.

Sumioni is short, but I still enjoyed it for the artwork. There are like 30 levels and you need certain rankings to play certain levels. Also there are like 6 different endings, so you can get about 2 - 5 hours of play out of it and get all the trophies by just beating every level.
