You do know that you could've bought them on the web store without any delays, right? If you were so pressed for time, you didn't need to do that on the Vita at all.

I couldn't have demoed them on the web store, otherwise yes, I probably would've bought online. I also didn't expect the update to be so soon considering last week's was at 8pm or so. Again: no consistency.

I don't understand why the thread decided to blow up over my post while consistent posts of dumb questions by people who should know better are given a pass. But whatever, I'm off to queue up Joe Danger.

What about dumb complaints by people who wait until the last minute to try and get in on sales that have been up for a week? Stop blaming Sony, you know the store updates on Tuesdays. You have from Tuesday it Monday to get in on these sales.

On topic...I played the I Am Live demo and didn't care for it. And I know it isn't on sale, but does anyone have opinions on the King Washington DLC for ACIII? Worth full price?
A consistent update schedule would fix all of this and I honestly can't see a technical or business reason why they can't have a test server where they confirm all the deals are working, then have a script to push it live with someone overseeing to make sure it went off without a hitch. While you're not wrong, I do disagree. To me "Tuesday afternoon/evening" is narrowed down enough that I would label it consistent and it's perfectly acceptable for me. Giving them a generous 12 hour window to update the store every week, it looks like this:

JvHFbcw.png

As long as they hit that blue slice with their update, which they do, then it's perfectly acceptable to me.

You are all acting like little kids bullying a younger kid. You all ask dumb questions off and on so stop posting just to fight with people. This happens way to often on here. I think you kids need more adult supervision...:lol:
I think it's important to keep in mind how much luck plays into this game. In researching it last night, it reminded me a little bit of the Sound Shapes Death Mode,
yea, death mode was crazy. plat'ing that game took a while on some of those levels, but i definitey got much better on even the crazy hard ones.

i missed the big sky sale, and i'm not sad about it. glad i played the demo. i also figure there's a high chance of it being free someday since i think it already was in the eu.

i'm pulling the trigger on rayman and asphalt (vita) to put me over $50... hope i beat them before they go free so i don't feel too bad, lol.
I'm sure they do have a test server.

Here's the thing - let's say they've always had the update live by, say, 8pm. Fair enough? So, Sony could, if they wanted, simply make an 'official' time of, say, 8:30pm since they know they could commit to that. but then, all those times we could have gotten it earlier they'd just sit on their hands and make us wait. Personally, i'd prefer they give it to us early if it's ready early -- which is essentially how they do it now.

I know, you know, everyone here knows, that the time varies a bit every week, but is most often around 4pm. If you want to wait till tuesday to demo games about to end their sale, that's a risk you took on, and i'm hard pressed to feel bad for you. I'll take my 'early updates if we're ready' over 'waiting for you to decide last minute' any day of the week (especially tuesdays).

nice, i never really thought about using it that way. i assume this works for all games (vita, psp, ps1) and includes saves... i think that's much better than deleting, even for some games i already beat that i might want to come back to (thinking sound shapes).

don't know why this never crossed my mind, i've just been deleting... thanks!

does csi: fatal conspiracy have any redeeming features for $10? my wife likes csi, but i'm deathly afraid it's going to have awful gameplay.

very easy plat. but no. you don't want that game on your hd. just rent it. horrible. lol.
i.e. csi/ncis whatever. it's all follow the line trophy acquisition. no fun at all. idk.

the free kratos avatar (quite nice actually) took me 10 tries to successfully install. hrmp. hope that was just a psn glitch.

I think I'm just getting trolled with some of these questions.

Just to save everybody some trouble: If you have a question, consult the OP, and if there's no answer for your question, feel free to ask. A ton of the questions that get asked here are answered in the OP already and will save you some time asking redundant questions.

fwiw, sly cooper vita is showing as 'free' for me in the store. i already own it, but other games i own do not show as free.

don't know what the deal is, but worth posting i suppose.

I think nothing for me this week. I thought I would jump on Lumines and Rayman Vita for 13.xx but it just still seems to high for me. I played the hell out of Lumines PSP so I guess I got my fill and I have Rayman PS3 so that's the same game as the Vita.

If only I knew when these sales would end and when the store would update, how long the 2 week sale lasts and when I'll get my $10 back, then I could really make a decision.

Outland is a great game with a great price but man are those bosses tough for me.

If I have the PSV assassisns creed should I spend the money or will I just be disappointed? Graphics look great for a PSP game

Did you buy the PS3 game and redeem your cross buy copy of the Vita version? Did you go and fully purchase the Vita version from the PS Store to attach it to your account?

It's not that good since it's basically what AC would look like with the technical limitations that keep it from being the open world game that console and Vita games are.

shows $26.99. U have the free demo?

I know it's not part of the Ubisoft sale, but: how is Assassin's Creed III: Liberation a few months out? Have the infamous framerate issues been patched? I see conflicting information on a "day-one" patch that solved most of the issues.
how exactly does the content manager work.. Say I want to make room on my memory card so I put the game on my computer, then when I want to play it, I tranfer it.. Is that how it works?
Is it normal for the Vita's touch screen to be unresponsive while using the Content Manager? It takes me about 20 minutes to go through the menus. Before anyone asks, USB charge is off and the Vita is completely charged.

If you redeemed the entitlement, it will be listed as free.

It's a pretty fun game. It's very different from the normal Assassin's Creed games, in that it's a side-scrolling platformer/runner, but it's got some really neat level design and missions. It reminded me of Prince of Persia II more than anything. I actually played it on the iPhone (it seems to no longer be on the app store though) and I can only imagine it would be significantly better with a D-pad and buttons.

EDIT: I was thinking of the DS game, Discovery. I know absolutely nothing about Bloodlines.

I use a USB cable and connect to my PS3. I guess I have a defective Vita, or something.
