Do you just want digital or something? That game is $3 used at Gamestop now in case you didn't know. I just recently played it and I enjoyed it. If the DLC for it was a buck or 2 during the sale, I probably would have pulled the trigger.
I wasn't aware (last saw it for $10 from various places) thanks for the heads up. :D Gonna keep an eye out at the next visit to Gamestop since the PS3 ver. is OOS online right now.

Yeah, I snagged it last time I was in there from the bargain bin for $3. Was hoping the DLC would be on sale for dirt cheap to go with it, but it will sit in the backlog for a while anyway. Looking at houses cheap used games can get makes me never want to buy anything new again.
Raiden III. So jumping on that. Love the Raiden series.
I might buy this one, even though I already have a disc copy. Just to have a digital copy.

I would rather like to see Raiden I and Raiden II or Raiden Project on the PSN. It would also be nice to see the Raiden Fighter series on the PSN as well. (Already have Raiden Fighter's Aces and Raiden IV on the 360.)
Sweeeeetttt!!!! I just got my $10 credit from Sony :D I thought they would never give me a penny since I was not very "loyal" to them (one time I got refunded because my plus renewed automally for 3 months and I emailed them telling that I did not want it or need it, then they politely cancelled PS+ and refunded me).- I don't know how "loyal" that is haha. Anyway, you should check your account too if you haven't receive anything so far :)

Well finally I got mine haha, it feels nice to get free money this way :) very nicely from them; thank you a lot Sony!!! They will be good used during this spend $50 get $10 back promotion :)
You got my hopes up--still nada despite subscribing to plus for the last two years and spending ~$150 on PSN in the last six months. When I first heard about people with 3 accounts, sometimes with next to nothing on two of them, getting $10 per account . . . it kinda made me feel like maybe I should -stop- giving Sony my money.

I'm not loyal enough, huh. Well, ok, guess I'll think twice about opening my wallet.

Is Raiden Fighters the one with the crazy purple beam wrapping around the screen? I want that game.

Yes. The purple beam has been a staple of the series since Raiden II.

Anyone else having problems installing Spec Ops? It says an error occurred during installation and it creates a curried data.

It installed fine for me, though I did it last week.
Anyone else having problems installing Spec Ops? It says an error occurred during installation and it creates a curried data.
I'm having the same problem. I'll try downloading it again I guess.

i had major problems installing the free ps+ kratos avatar yesterday, took like 10 tries. but spec ops installed fine last week. maybe psn is just being a little glitchy this week?

ahhahahaha all you people that are having this issue, im going to explain whats going to happen.

your going to call sony, and they will do the default reset your console and hold button get to secret menu shit , and then if it doesnt work past that, you WILL NOT get a refund for it , this happened to me with shift 2 and infamous 2 , in both instances they said it was a hardware error and that i could send my console in for repairs, never a sorry here is a credit.

what they said basically is that since im not paying for it , that im SOL.
but im paying for the service i say, they do not care a bit .
Anyone else having problems installing Spec Ops? It says an error occurred during installation and it creates a curried data.
Yes (sort of). I tried to download it earlier today and keeps giving me an error, I click the download button on psn and it says it cannot be activated, it won't even download the game. I'm not sure what is wrong, I'm currently downloading Joe Danger 2 so at least I know psn is working. I guess I'll will try to download Spec Ops at some other time.

Anyone who has a Facebook account, "like" Best Buy and you should be able to get 500 RZ points ($10) for a $10 purchase made in the next ten days. Reps on the FB page from Best Buy confirmed that a PSN card will work, so it would stack nicely with the spend $50 get $10 promotion.

Here's the link to the thread so we don't derail this one with questions about how it works, etc.:
Anybody that likes Advance Wars should definitely check out Tom Clancy's End War for the PSP from the Ubisoft sale, as it's basically AW with a hex grid instead of the traditional square grid.
Thanks Frisky, will be picking this up now. I had heard about End War for 360/PS3, but had no idea that the PSP version was a hex-grid strategy game. Sounds right up my alley.

Looks like I'm marching toward $150 this month. :)

Not sure why you're laughing at the potential misfortune of others, but... rather than 'calling sony', i think most people would just try to install again.

To anyone who got the new Sound Shapes DLC, did you get both the PS3 and Vita versions of the DLC when you purchased it just like the game? I can't find a clear answer to what anywhere...

It says it should in the description of the DLC:
Cross Goods: Purchase of the Car Mini-Album & Entity Pack includes entitlement to the PS3™ and PS Vita versions of this pack.
Did you not get both?

Well yea, that's exactly why they specified active people for the promo. I was already buying stuff weekly when they sent me the 10. I've been subd for 4-5 months now.

Edit: fk all Facebook promos, this one is clearly for people that are stingy to spend without recieving free money or something similar.

No, that doesn't seem very loyal at all.

$29 for EDF Vita is a steal. I paid $40 on release day and don't regret it one bit. The additional character makes this game so much fun and has tons of replay ability.
No, that doesn't seem very loyal at all.
How do you figure? ~$150 over 6 months is over $20 per month, plus $50 a year for + for the last 2 years. I read some of the big thread about the first wave of recipients, with many claiming they got the promo on accounts they never spent any money on and such.

What I was trying to say: to call it a 'loyalty' program feels like a slap in the face. Call it a bonus like from a random drawing, or somehow signify it's as random as it really seems to be, and I'm fine--I'm not lucky, whatever . . . but in my eyes I've definitely been a "loyal" customer, especially in the last year.

Whatever man. I'd love to spend more, but there's a reason I rely on CAG.

it has already been covered several times and Sony apologized for using the word "loyal" - they worded the message wrong

News flash, people troll / lie. A lot of people will say these things with the sole intent to anger people like you, seem cool or feel lucky. I wouldn't take much stock in them or whatever small figure those people make up (if real).

We all define loyalty different, but I would NOT consider $120 dollars spent and 2 years of plus "Mr. Loyal".

I've had a PSN account since 08.
Spent 500+ dollars (with 1,000+ worth of content on my account).
2 years of plus. (with another 2 years on my account)
7,000+ Trophies.
Day 1 Vita owner (FEB)
300+ games played.
Played / own virtually every first party Sony title.
etc

And I got my voucher. Same with my friends who also had long standing accounts, a Vita, high trophy level and such.
It appears that Sony did a good job of not rewarding you because your loyalty is weak and ready to jump ship at the smallest slight against you based on your last posts. Those of us who do not post these messages are far more loyal and justified for $10. Perhaps you should remember that with today's technology these promo programs have the ability to watch everything you do or say and any slip ups or comments against the machine and your loyalty will be questioned.
Can we drop the loyalty talk? Conceptually you can always be more loyal, like owning a Vita, but ultimately it solves nothing. Ultimately it happened, you didn't get one, move on.
I thought the $10 credit expired March 5th or something
Mine says March 25 :)

Guys of course it is not based on "loyalty," it is base in pure randomless... or maybe everyone will receive one soon afterall, like me. I just got it yesterday, and this free $10 were sent to others since weeks ago.

You've only been Plus for two years, you have less than 1,400 trophies across 105 games, and most importantly, you're now going to second guess every purchase you make because of this perceived slight.

Dude. Sarcasm.

Mine says March 25 :)

Guys of course it is not based on "loyalty," it is base in pure randomless... or maybe everyone will receive one soon afterall, like me. I just got it yesterday, and this free $10 were sent to others since weeks ago.
My brother and I both got this last night. I was so jealous when other people got the code a few weeks ago, but now I feel appreciated. You rock Sony.

Then I quit. To hell with both of ya ;)

It IS pretty rad this is happening alongside the spend $50/get $10, with the award discounts (Walking Dead!) and Vita sales. I think Sony really wants to bolster their numbers for online sales to show it's a viable business model, and they're doing a good job IMO.

...or they could be assuaging for the lack of backward compatibility next gen? AMIRITE?!

Got my hopes up, checked again just now and still haven't gotten anything. Hopefully they really are sending these out in waves and there will be another, but I'm not going to hold onto any expectations at this point.

Haha, well, considering my posting history, I don't blame you.

I didn't get the credit last time, I'll check to see if I get it this time, but I'm not holding my breath.
With these themed sales (squenix, ubi) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some Atlus/XSeed love :)

A fella has to have dreams.
Atlus has sales on their games all of the time and Xseed isn't a stranger to sales, either.

Two things I most want from the PSN web store:

Ability to search by publisher/developer
Wishlist with live updated pricing

out of these games ,if you were picking one for purely the best strategy game or simulation game ,which would you pick?
nobunagas ambition rise to power
kessen II
romance of the three kingdoms ( one on psn ps1 classic)

what is up with the PSP bundle deals, like Daxter and Secret Agent Clank, do I have to buy these on my PS3 and then transfer? Are these deals for real? thanks

Lol. They changed the wording.

LOL, the message said "loyal customers" on it before? I didn't put attention to that haha.

MAYBE they are giving $10 extra more? (including those loyal customers who already got theirs).

You should be able to buy them from the web store and if they're Vita compatible, you should be able to start the download from the download list on your Vita.

Yeah.

I doubt they'll give another $10. They probably changed the wording for obvious reasons(people spending tons and not getting a code.....people spending little to none and getting one).
Where are you stuck currently? The first place I got seriously stuck in a firefight in FUBAR was in the
parking garage with the mounted machine gun
that and that damned
"Free bird...move in!" helicopter gauntlet run

Yeah, I really had trouble with
parking garage
and those
running section
deaths were aggravating considering it was a glorified cutscene lol. I went back to the game earlier this week and finally got the platinum trophy though.

People getting $10 loyalty cash and I get an email stating I havent used money in my wallet for over 6 months come check out the PSN store. Dont think im going to meet the loyal customer status for the monies.
