alice madness returns ultimate edition is supposed to be 15.99 for ps+ members but when i add it to my cart it says 19.99 (and yes i have ps+). Anyone else having this problem?
So for how long are the Vita games going to be available for free? Until next tuesday or is it longer than that?
It works the exact same way as the PS3's IGC. The games are available until they're rotated with another title.

And I think I just might hit the $60 mark for the promo. Sine Mora and the new Borderlands DLC is $30 alone.

Anyone pick up The Warriors and play it on the Vita? I love the game, and have it for PS2 and PS3, but I'd love it for Vita if there was any reason to triple dip. Can anyone recommend it? Does it have different controls to accomodate two sticks or anything?
Anyone without a Vita but with a PSP try downloading FF Tactics from PS+ and see if it works on PSP?
It does.
No doubt that PS+ is a game-changer for a lot of people. The announcement that it was coming spurred my decision to pull the trigger on the deal I found on Craigslist, and I'm really glad I did. $200 for a new system with a game is quite decent for the holiday buys, although you'll need a bigger memory card to really take advantage of having PS+.
Yeah, I think that the bundles are a very fair deal at $200. I'll have one physical game and an unlimited amount of fresh digital content on the way for that investment. Plus, trophies on a portable system? I shouldn't care but I must admit that makes it even more desirable for me.

Obviously the memory card issue has been beaten to death and it's an absurd yet typical Sony move to force proprietary media. You just have to factor in the memory cost with the console. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and pay the extra $80 on Amazon for the 32GB. I'll still have to manage my downloads but at least I can go longer before doing so with that size.

OH MY GOD!!!! Quantum Conundrum is such a great game and it was free!
My whole PS+ account was worth it just to get this game. What fun!

Bought P4G, the two story mode DLC for Disgaea 4 and Music Unlimited subscription to get a little over $60 for the promotion.

Good value =D.

this. What a pleasant surprise - rarely does PS+ add something to the IGC that I don't like, but it's also rare when something sneaks up on me like this.
I just bought Persona 4 Golden, probably will pick up Okami and a TV Show game for over $60 so I can get $10 back.
Apologies of it's already been discussed but where is the spend $60, get $10 promo advertised? Haven't noticed this one.
Next week will probably get Swords and Soldiers and Slambolt Scrappers since it is 50 percent discount for PS PLUS
I guess these deals were announced on the newest blogcast. I, too, will be all over Slambolt Scrappers.

I really hope the PSN Store vindicates itself on Tuesday 11/27.
The thanksgiving "sale" they are offering this week is pathetic and awful, it pales even more in comparisson of the great BF deals we can see right now at CAG.
Come on SONY, give us some deep discounted PSN games!
Great, cant get the Sonic classic pack since I already have Sonic 2...thanks PS+..
Thanks--CC rocks as well. What I wouldn't give for a true console continuation of the series...

This promo is really tempting me go grab a digital copy of P4G... time to see if I can find something to go with it...

Hey guys, I have a question regarding data/personal info on one's Vita, since I'm considering picking up the $179.99 White bundle and as a result, I'll have to sell my Black Wi-Fi Vita: What necessarily would that entail in terms of removing my personal info/data to prep it before listing? I know my data would be on the 8GB card I'm currently using, but how would I handle the trophy data and whatnot--resetting to factory default settings or something else? Thanks in advance. :)

Just Googled this. I don't know anything about it, being a noob and all.:baby:

By synchronizing your trophy information with PlayStation®Network servers, you can:

Continue to have the trophies you earned on your old PS Vita system, if you dispose of or transfer ownership of your PS Vita system and then later get a new PS Vita system

Not sure if this has been answered before, but does anyone know how the cross-buy works between retail discs and digital Vita copies? Does the retail version just come with a code to download the Vita version? I'm asking so I can make sure to buy games like PS All Stars Battle Royale and R&C Full Frontal Assault new if that's the case.

Thanks.

I was wondering if the PS Vita Amazon bundle today would include the PS All star ps3 cross play (from the voucher they give you). Or is that only available if you buy digital?

You have to buy the ps3 version to get the vita version. Doesn't work vice versa

So, OP has Persona 1-3 still on sale for PSP, but when I check the store via Media Go (buying my PS Vita today, don't have a PS3) they're showing regular price. I'm assuming the sale on those is over, rather than Media Go having incorrect prices? Can anyone confirm?
Does anyone know when it is coming yet?
December 4. There's a thread in the PS3 section for the trilogy and ME1 release.

It's not a download code, you have to access it from the disc. Essentially the code is attached to the disc for a one-time use that becomes associated with your account, so that you couldn't buy the PS3 version and then sell the code on Ebay, for example.

Far as I can tell, though, you could definitely register the Vita version with your account and then sell the disc/split it with a friend, b/c the console disc will still work just fine in any system. Not a fool-proof system but at least the internet won't be flooded with with people trying to unload Vita copies to get the console version for cheaper.

Oh, is Sine Mora out on PS3 and/or Vita? If so, I might double dip, I played a ton of that game when it came out on XBLA. A Vita version would be super cool.
New Frobisher Says DLC is out in the EU.

There's also a free patch out in the EU for the game that adds Trophy Support, puts games into categories, and adds near gifts as well. Anybody know if the patch has been released in the US?
Don't think it's hit the US yet, but I do recall hearing we'd be getting it.

Speaking of which, here's the list.
Oh, is Sine Mora out on PS3 and/or Vita? If so, I might double dip, I played a ton of that game when it came out on XBLA. A Vita version would be super cool.
Yup, came out this Tuesday. It's not a cross-buy, so if you want both, you gotta buy both.

Frobisher Says Trophy Patch not updated in USA yet, should be soon.
im loving all these free trophy games now that i got a vita...

also finally finished my backloggery list. i only added trophy games, so i gotta get to work.

So, unless I'm misunderstanding, if I was to buy PSASBR used, there would be a chance that I could still get the cross-buy on my Vita *IF* the person who owned it before did not activate/redeem it? But if I want to guarantee that I get the Vita version as well, I need to buy the PS3 version new?

How would that work with rentals? Seems like the first person to rent the game from Gamefly could get themselves a permanent Vita version for free...

You've got a very interesting point, and I don't think there would be anything stopping anyone from activating a Gamefly copy to get the Vita version for free. Here's the full breakdown:

To redeem your Cross-Buy copy of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for PS Vita please follow the directions below.

1. Insert the Blu-ray disc into your PS3.
2. Navigate to the game XMB to select Disc Benefits (Until you redeem your Cross-Buy, you will be prompted you to download the Vita Game each time you insert the Blu-ray disc into the PS3.)
3. After redeeming the Cross-Buy, simply launch the PS Store on PlayStation Vita.
4. Tap the ‘Options button’ on the bottom right corner of the store
5. Tap ‘Download list’
6. Tap ‘PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’ to download on PS Vita.
Via http://www.gamespot.com/playstation...y-how-to-redeem-vita-version-64688130/?page=0

I saw a post with screen shots, too, but I can't find it now. Either way, that's the same thing I read elsewhere. I do indeed believe there's nothing stopping you from redeeming the cross-buy Vita copy with a rental, and likewise, if you want the cross-buy intact, definitely buy new. Even people who don't own Vita's probably would redeem it for if-and-when they ever do get one. At least that's what I would do.

For the curious - at the moment, it doesn't appear that Redbox carries PS All-Stars.

Even people who don't own Vita's probably would redeem it for if-and-when they ever do get one. At least that's what I would do.

For the curious - at the moment, it doesn't appear that Redbox carries PS All-Stars.
Thank you so much for explaining all this to me. Haha I checked Redbox right away to see if they carry it, and can't find it either.

I already got it on Vita or else I might consider trying to find a local rental. It feels underhanded but this is CAG, and it's technically a legitimate way of obtaining a copy of the game. That, and it's not as though Gamefly can rent out the digital copy that comes with it, so I have a feeling most people who know about it would redeem it without thinking twice.

That, and re-reading the list of steps to redeem it, it even says that the game will prompt you every time you insert the disc that you have a Vita copy to activate. Great as a retail promotion but I can see a lot of people exploiting this to get a free copy of the game.

I've played around in the single-player mode a little in PS All-Stars and I'm surprised how much I like it from the get-go. It's a good balance of familiar gameplay from the games it draws inspiration from (SSB especially, of which I'm a bit of a veteran) while still bringing enough new ideas that it doesn't feel like a blatant rip-off. Having just completed Uncharted: Golden Abyss, using Nathan Drake feels like he plays exactly as you'd expect him to in a 2D format.

I definitely want it, I love games like this (I even bought Cartoon Network Punchtime Explosion
it's awful!
) but I can't justify spending more than $10-$15 on any game because I've built up my backlog way too high.

Legit, maybe, but it's gaming the system and if it works, Sony will stop us from doing it in the future by stopping the whole Cross Buy promotion.

Is the persona 4 golden deal still going on? I can't seem to find it on psn or from the black friday sales. Just ordered my amazon vita today and I'm behind on this persona 4 deal.
There is no Persona 4 deal. o_O
I think there was, but maybe I missed it? I'd like to know if it was psn for ps+ users, b&m disc version, black friday deal, what? So I can look out for it again in the future. A bunch of people were talking about it in multiple thread but I don't remember the details.

At least in terms of rentals, it's limited to as many copies as are purchased by a company like Gamefly since it can only be redeemed once. People who subscribe to Gamefly are probably already less likely to purchase games at retail since they have a rental subscription, so I don't think it would end up being too big of a deal. It's still a better system than having a pack-in code/voucher that could be sold online, split with a friend, etc. in terms of their marketing strategy. I think after the first price drop, say to the inevitable $40 sale, it becomes an even more attractive promotion.

Just came out Tuesday, hasn't been on sale yet anywhere as far as I know. A few people in another thread were talking about using the Groupon $10 for $20 promo to get P4G for cheap, but that's all I'm aware of. The PSP Persona games, and FES were on sale last week though.

I'm a PS+ member and when I check the Ultimate Edition for Alice: Madness Returns the picture shows that it's $15.99 for Plus members but when I add to cart/checkout it shows up as $19.99. The download size is also different than it was a few days ago (4.5 GB previously, now showing as 5.4 GB). Anyone else having this problem or know what's going on?
You've got a very interesting point, and I don't think there would be anything stopping anyone from activating a Gamefly copy to get the Vita version for free. Here's the full breakdown:

I don't understand how this is possible. Every PS3 game is pressed from the same master and doesn't have unique data anywhere on the disc as far as I'm aware. How the hell are they doing this?

To anyone who cares, the ps+ vita game GameStop trade in values are as follows:

Uncharted:GA $10
Gravity Rush $10
Wipeout 2048 $4.50

I also got a 25% bonus on all three games from promo #14047 (no idea what this was) as well as my 10% powerup bonus. Brought the total for all 3 games to $33.07. Seemed reasonable to me.
