You're a group of survivors in the Downside (purgatory where criminals/enemies of the Commonwealth are sent) that are trying to complete the Rites (the sports-like battles) to earn favor with the gods to earn their freedom to go back to the Commonwealth, which nobody has done so before. Along the way, you make smaller decisions about paths to take, dialog choices, and such that affects who joins your crew and how they progress. Supposedly, the story continues whether you win or lose and takes different paths, though I haven't lost yet to see if that's true.

It looks more like a sports game/visual novel to be honest. At least thats what I got from it. Your team grabs the ball/orb and tries to score on the opponents and you can attack/defend. Otherwise seems like a lot of lore/novel.

 
Picked up MLB 17 from the BB sale today. Gave it a whirl and it’s great but the commentary was all fucked up. Wasn’t even close to what was going on in the game and was for different teams. WTF?

The game is an action RPG, but instead of exploring levels and fighting hundreds of enemies, you're travelling to specific spots to perform the Rites (battles) to see who is the victor. I pretty much explained the loop above.

They have an FAQ that might have answers for other questions.

It is hard. I am like 6 bosses in and have only ever beaten one boss first try and even that I had like a sliver of health left.

I would just farm salt for a little bit and level up if you have not already. It will make the boss a lot easier.

Man, I had bought the Wolfenstein games when they were cheap a while back assuming that my save from where I started TNO over 3 years ago would still be out there but it's not. Any reason that would happen? I did upgrade to a Pro but I figured that was the whole point of online storage. So lame.

I think PS4 cloud storage is only for PS+ members like 360's cloud storage was only for Gold members. You might just be used to Xbone's free cloud storage for everyone.

I would imagine yes, if you get stuck you can grind some to level up the damage dealing skill for your weapon type in the skill tree as well as look up where to find upgrade materials to strengthen the weapon. You can become pretty OP through fully upgraded weapons and stacking weapon buffs.

TitanFall 2's been a really good deal on and off since Black Friday. Lol seeing as it consistently bottoms out at this price then goes back up. I played it the other day though and it's still a really great game though. Much more enjoyable online multiplayer than that multiplayer train wreck Infinite Warfare

It's pretty much guaranteed to hit 29.99 for the digital copy before too long. That's about the best I can do, I don't think there are very many physical copies out there.

Gearbox is supposedly only responsible for their retail publishing (basically they're in charge of making physical game disks and getting them into stores), but yeah, even that minor level of involvement taints the project a little for me, as I've become averse to supporting anything Gearbox-related.

Maybe it's just me but the music from the Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor is really not to my liking and I usually like electronic music. Just hurt my ears and i sped through the video shortly after starting it.

 
Used some Best Buy RZ certs to get some PSN credit to get Pyre. They fucked up and didn’t activate it. So went back, they not only activated it but gave me a second $20 card for free to compensate me for the screw up.

Props to BB! Might take a chance on Sundered with my free credit.

I got to thinking if I had ever let it lapse for a day or so but I don't think I have. Regardless, when I check online storage I have stuff like Resogun and NFS Rivals that I haven't played since the first month PS4 was out yet TNO is nowhere to be found.

Another quirk... I loaded up the first Injustice and it prompted the tutorial saying it was the first time I had played it. I checked online storage and sure enough that was actually there (I had last played it right the same time as Wolfenstein) but I had to download to system storage for it to recognize it.
 
Pretty decent games at not-so-decent prices. I'm afraid to pull the trigger on For Honor at that price because of all the complaints about how unbalanced/frustrating the multiplayer is...

There was only 1 GB of save storage back then, so I'm going to guess your saves went over the limit and it stopped uploading new saves until they bumped it up to 10 GB a year or so later.

 
Tempted by Battlefront Ultimate Edition for $12. That's just the base game and season pass right? What are the 4 dlc maps?
 
Pyre is fantastic. Truly unique blend of RPG, visual novel and sport-like combat. Actually think it’s Supergiant’s best game yet and Bastion and Transistor where great as well.

It may be hard to judge from videos but it’s a lot of fun and just nothing else quite like it.
