google searching doesn't say anything about the servers going down soon. Also, for 1 dollar. You'll probably get the fun you need out of it before it does. I paid full price and played for about a month. Felt like that was about the correct price to fun ratio for me.

Sam & Max is very good. JP's utter garbage. Basically, Sam & Max, Back to the Future, and Tales of Monkey Island are the ones worth getting. It's been a good year to stock up on Telltale Games stuff on PS3 as of late. I got those three, World Gone Sour, and Super Stardust HD (and I only just remembered wanting it because I played the heck out of the demo on the Xbox 360.

Geometry Wars? They're not that much alike outside of the dual-stick controls and the spaceship thing. Stardust has more of an Asteroids vibe to it set on a 3D sphere with three types of shots available to you to tackle different types of enemies or Asteroids.

 
Retro city rampage always throws me off cuz it says I don't own it on ps3 and only vita, but then i check it out and it's cuz ps3 version is listed differently as demo/unlock through ps+. I am ocd like that. and already have utf through vita + so no need in ps3 version also.

Alright getting all the PS1 classics from the flash sale. That's 8 bucks, thinking of getting Tales of Monkey Island since its a telltale game. That leaves $1, suggestions?

Go for Back to The Future or Jurassic Park. Both are by Telltale and are a steal for just a buck.

 
So I just woke up and got to the last post on the old thread.  I click the link and see that the new thread already has over 200 posts and think to myself "You motherfuckers... can't you calm down a little while I'm asleep". 

Then I scroll down to a huge $.99 banner in the OP and think "Well look at that... someone got into Frisky's post".

Then I start to see the list and that's when the tears came.  It's real.  It's really real. 

Then I see the list of games and I'm pissed at you guys for the 200 posts again.

I decided on Braid, Tokyo Jungle, and Retro City Rampage. Someone please talk me out of buying all the classics...

Edit: Add Sam & Max and Monkey Island. I'm never gonna play all this crap...

Back to the future is sweet, especially if you like the movies. Jurassic Park is ok, but not there best game. Sam and Max is top shelf though.

Buy them all, for a buck they are all worth it (especially considering the price of disc copies for BTTF and JP)

I grabbed a disc copy of BttF pre-owned for $17.99 (doubt you'll find it new anymore) during one of Best Buy's B2G1 Pre-owned deals. But this is the second or third time I've seen someone reference a disc version of JP. Where is that at?

I've only seen JP for Xbox. But never for PS3. I don't think the ps3 edition exist. Or am I mistaken?

I really don't understand the drive for ps1 classics. if you haven't made time for it yet, why play it now? some of them have got to be close to 15 years old - that's a long time to put something off when you could be playing one of these other shitty 99 cent games.

nope that was my mistake. no such thing for PS3, although the 360 disc is jacked up in price.

pick it up anyway, its worth playthrough if you like a TT game

they aren't buying them to play. Just to add to the backlog. My backlog is bigger than yours. We all know the only classics are from 16 bit era and back.

Funny that you say this. I bought JP, S&M( the game),BTTF,Tokyo Jungle and Monkey Island and since the wife brought the kids dinner I opted for a Tostinos!
 
Wish some of these were the Vita versions (I'm looking at you PvZ) but going to be hard not to buy nearly all of the ones I don't already have just because of the fact that they're a dollar. :wall:

Let me get this straight:

Sam & Max: Save the World is Season 1 (not on PSN)

Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is Season 2 (full price on PSN)

Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse is Season 3 ($.99 on PSN sale)

Strange to put 2 and 3 on PSN without 1.

Anyway, I grabbed the 4 Crash games, I'm considering the Spyro games as well.
