I just noticed that the Sports Champions 2 bundle with Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest is $9.99. I don't think this is a specific sale, but probably a result of a price drop or something for Sports Champions 2 where they never got rid of the bonus game that you get for purchasing it.
Damn - I hate buying digital when I already have the disc copies. But I still have both sealed - for sure I can get more than $10 for the pair... I guess I'll have to jump on this. Thanks, Frisky (and also for the tip on the free LBP pack which I didn't even know existed).

It's funny the people saying how great ZE :VLR will be the same people that have already beat it and won't touch it again.

I loved the game so much, so many spoilers and plot twists and wtf moments, but i wish i hadnt played it already so i could enjoy it through ps+. I know it's like a good book and i could 'reread' it, but knowing all the puzzle solutions and plot makes it a one-play game.

Super awesome month for ps+ tho. and also these people that say they want to buy games in case ps+ goes away or they stop subscribing, aren't they going to want ps+ for ps4 multiplayer? i just presume i will want/need ps+ for all my ps4 years. im crazy (best) tho and have had it since it came out (when it was giving away minis and ps1 games) and am subbed til 2017, lol.

n wow i love the ps store online. here is hoping they do that day 1 for ps4 so some of us cags who want to wait and clear out our ps3 backlog can have a healthy list of ps+ games to play when we get a ps4.

yeah i got sports champions 2 for $10 at amazon last bf and med moves free through house party, but id rather have digital. sports champs 2 can tiv at amazon for 11, but what to do with med moves? practically worthless...

thanks for the heads up that it was free, almost missed it :D

I appreciate that he addressed it, but I interpret his explanation as "EU has their act together better than we do."

The truth may be that he has constraints and problems with a different size scale of service, but he didn't give any of that kind of detail in his answer, so we're left to guess. Actually, he didn't really answer the question, just dodged it as usual. On the EU blog, they'd probably give you some actual info as to why, it seems to be more their 'thing' to do that.
Does EU post deals and such with their PS+ schedule or is it just the games? Morgan used to post a preview of everything we'd get for the month, which would sometimes see deals fall through or change and people would get livid about that to force them to change to a weekly format with no monthly preview until a few months ago.

US PS+ people also got upset at the idea of getting all of their games in the first two weeks like EU PS+ does now even if they'd get the same amount regardless of whether it's stretched out or not, so they're dealing with a very fickle audience.

I don't really get the logic in hating that because those same people then moan when they don't get to play what they want every week. It is nice to have something new to look forward to every week though, so both ways have their perks I suppose.

EU doesn't post the deals for the month, just usually the PS+ free game schedule.

For what it's worth, I really like the way they do things now. I was originally a fan of the weekly one game reveal, but this method helps the "What have you done for me lately?" crowd see the bigger picture of PS+. As for when they reveal it (first Monday of the month) that is fine with me. I find it weird that EU seems to announce their lineups early and randomly, but whatever.

Very pleased to discover that I'd completely forgotten about a Muramasa preorder at Newegg and that it's on its way to me now.  I like it when past me pushes future me to do stuff.

Stop attacking my lifestyle choices!

Back on topic I realized that I had never played the Flower demo and made a decision whether to grab them or not. I was going to pass because while beautiful I just didn't get the demo at all.  Kept going and finally hit that moment where it clicked and snapped both games up before they change.  Now I just need a good sale on Journey.

They're probably too busy trading in their food stamps to Gamestop.

Man, now I really regret missing out on what went down.

Also late thanks to frisky for posting that Sports Champion/Deadmund bundle, couldn't pass on 2 move games for 9.99, finally something to make me bust out my set again.

Yep.  Thanks for the info on the Sports Champions 2 and Medieval Moves bundle.  I would have probably paid $9.99 for Sports Champions 2 alone, but the extra game made it a steal.

I read that tmnt out of the shadows is releasing tomo, I know its a psn and Xbox live game... Does anyone know if it'll be on the PlayStation store when the store updates?

Is Hydrophobia really that bad? It got a 70 on Metacritic. Reviews didn't sound all that bad. Just that it looks like late era PS2, which I'm used to having had a Wii as my only console until five months ago.

I don't know where you read that, but it's a part of Summer of Arcade. So it won't be out until August and even then, it'll be an XBLA exclusive for a month or two after that.

Is Zero Escape a "Holy shit, this game is awesome, I'm gonna play it multiple times for the rest of my life" game or a "Holy shit, this game is awesome but I'm never going to play it again" game?

Are you the kind of person that likes to read long novels more than once?

Story-puzzle games like this (Phoenix Wright is also in the genre) are awesome, but I have never played through more than once.

you won't play it ever again. but still a good plot, lots of twists/spoilers, and the puzzles will make you feel really smart. (lol, most of them anyway, some are just wtf head over to gamefaqs)

Man oh man. Is this the month I finally cave and sign up for PS+? Zero Escape is a-callin' me and it will ever hit my price point.

Where did you read that it wasn't coming out this week? I'm looking it up and it does seem to have vanished, what the hell happened... I knew of it coming out June 25th for psn and 26th for 360.

I'm just wondering if I should trade in my physical copy. It sounds like I should, thanks.
Heard the game was somewhat rare, I remember my friend had a hard time looking for it. Even though its on PS+, I still plan to keep mine

Just checked myself, maybe not "rare", but its been out a year and the price is still at MSRP at most places

It's not that bad at all. It was an easy game for people to shit on. But to be fair, the game was apparently EXTREMELY bad on 360 when it released. However the devs put a lot of work into patching it and making it a decent game.

It's definitely not coming out today/tomorrow.

Damn Looks like i missed the sports champions 2 bundle :oldman:
Yeah that's pretty fucking lame. Guess I should have jumped on it earlier. fuck.

Download size on escape plan?
https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/escape-plan/cid=UP9000-PCSA00004_00-ESCPGAMEMASTERUS

842 MB for the base game and updates push it up around 2 GB, I believe.

I played a bit of Gods Eater Burst and it's definitely in the same vein as Monster Hunter, though I'd say it's much easier to get into up front. From playing the first two missions, there isn't much of a need to explore the environment to gather random items and these two missions were pretty easy with smaller levels to explore and fewer enemies around to kill for the mission.

The OP is fully updated with what I can find in the PS Store. The PS Blog hasn't posted their final list, so just let me know if I missed anything and I'll change it in the morning since I'm going to bed now.

Trophy hunters might want to take note that Hotline Miami has a Platinum Trophy.

Nice! Downloading Zero Escape: Virtues Last Reward. Also glad I didnt jump on Escape Plan last time. Now its another 50% cheaper. At $3.75 I decided to grab it. Hopefully the DLC goes on sale at some point. Loving my 32 GB card now though. Its getting put to good use. :D
