Please excuse me if this is a bad place to ask.

I'm considering getting a Vita along with PS+, but one thing I haven't been able definitively figure out. Will I be able to transfer games and saves back and forth between my Mac and Vita, so I don't have to re download things all the time? That would make a big difference.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
I believe ONE solution is to upload your saves to the cloud. I don't believe MediaGo works on OSX so you have to run windows in parallel if you want to use it.

EDIT: It seems you might be able to use Content Manager to transfer your saves.

You can use Content Manger to backup games from the Vita to your Mac, though you don't need to worry about saves. With PS+, you have the ability to back up saves to the cloud storage pretty easily through the Content Manager app on the Vita itself, which is explained here.

I appreciate everyone's help. I'm more concerned with not having to re download 2 GB games every time I want to switch what I'm carrying with me, but it sounds like content manager will take care of that. Thanks again!

For anybody interested in seeing more of the Creat Studios games in that bundle, I recorded videos for the three that I have:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epSpwhSf2IY

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM2Qweqg6f0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHIHd_5ZcSY

There's also my video of the beginning parts of Hydrophobia: Prophecy, which will be done with processing in a bit:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0v7-Ydk8b4

After you watch that, I'd suggest watching Giant Bomb's Quick Look of the original version on XBLA to see all of the differences.

Mushroom Wars looks cool, but I already have 3 games out of that bundle and the other 3 don't seem that appealing (the 2 psych games and I forgot the other one).

Plus, I'm not even sure if I could buy it because PSN has trouble with bundles sometimes.

Spartacus game is good, deadliest warriors good lol...I loved the show so was actually excited for the free game. I like the fighting and leveling up so far, I think it has some rpg elements. There is a lack of characters so far, but I think we can unlock or recruit them later on. Also there's trophies

I can add it to my cart just fine, so I don't think it really cares about prior ownership of any of the games. Creat puts their stuff on sale all of the time, so if you just want a game or two, just wait for them to go on sale again.

I think I would describe Hotline Miami as a top-down view, 16-bit version of a Hitman game on amphetamines with a combo meter.

You get points for mixing up weapons, you get points for killing in rapid succession, you get points for killing unseen, you get points for completing the level as fast as possible, etc. If your score is high enough on a level, you unlock a new mask. At the start of the level you can pick one mask to wear, each masks offers a unique starting bonus (or debuff if you want an extra challenge) which may complement your playstyle or be helpful for that particular level. It's not unlike picking your starting weapon package on older Hitman games. For instance, you can kickopen doors to knockdown and stun enemies, if you are wearing the horse mask, door hits will kill them instead. The wolf masks gives you a knife at the start, the elephant mask lets you die after two gun shots instead of one, etc.

I enjoyed it for about the first 3/4ths, the problem is in the last 1/4th of the game you pretty much have to completely rely on guns in order to beat the level. The game is at its most fun when you can mix stealth kills with the occasional bit of gun play. The last 1/4th of the game is pretty much all gunplay

Free cookie to anyone that can help me out. Can anybody tell me if the following games are on sale for PS Plus members? If not, when would be the best time to catch them on sale.

Journey $14.99

The UInfinished Swan $14.99 (even though OP says $3.75?)

Starhawk $19.99 + $9.99 for online?

PS Plus is free for a few more days if you do the E3 quiz thingy. Just want to know if it's worth doing. Don't need the free games right now.

You just missed Unfinished Swan, ended just over a week ago I believe. Starhawk was on sale about a month ago.

None of them are currently on sale. No way of knowing when they'll be on sale next. The 2nd page of the OP doesn't appear to be currently updated, the deal for Unfinished Swan for $3.75 expired a while ago.

Chocolate chip please.

My Hotline Miami video will be live in a little bit:
Looks like a pretty cool game with it's retro visual style...brought to mind a VHS tuner on the fritz. But after watching the video it was the music that really stole the show for me. Hypnotic beats and some really nice low fi synth, I must have this soundtrack!

i know on sony it says anything you download from PSN needs to be redownloaded when you flip memory cards but what i did was saved my memory card to my pc and then transfer it back to the new memory card and did not have to redownload anything (even the psn crap) ... if i knew it was that easy i would of stuck with my 8 gb and never moved to 32 :)

you have to download the psn thing to your computer first before you and move items back and forth

Ya The Last of Us got me playing on my playstation again. I never had PS+ so I didn't know if there was an automatic discount for being a subscriber or not. That's what the press conference at E3 made it sound like. Thanks guys, + rep.

Plus discounts are usually just an extra discount on top of sale items, for example Escape Plan is $7.49 on sale for the unwashed masses but for us peerless Plus folks it's $3.75 this week.

Plus discounts will look like this

https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/hydrophobia-prophecy/cid=UP4068-NPUB30233_00-HYDROPHOBIA00001

When an item is on sale for all on PSN, they don't X through the MSRP and right the sale price next to it, they just change the listed price to the sale price. When an item has an additional PS+ discount, they will draw a line through the current price and put the price for PS+ in yellow like this:

$2.99

plusIcon.png
$0.60

Unfortunately most of that stuff has been onsale within the last 2-3 months so it might be awhile.

I still hate that and wish they would just let you know that it's on sale and what the original is when you're looking at it.

Weird seeing this topic down so low on the forums. So consider this a bump. Did anyone listen to the Blogcast and put together a nice list of new releases for me? I am lazy (and should technically be working).

This is not quite right. One of my favorite streamers on Twitch finished the game only using guns three times - one of them for a boss who was gun mandatory. Stealth is very much an option if you play your corners/cover/line of sight/timing right.

Loved this game on Steam and actually preferring the Vita port. Super buy.

Yeah, my favorite tactic was using the mask that makes doors lethal and then throwing a pipe to be able to cover the distance if there were multiple in the room. Or just baiting eight enemies to follow me through a door then pushing it back the other way on them.

Finally caved and bought a used 32gb vita card with some credit from estarland after managing an 8gb and 4gb was too cumbersome.

Looking forward to loading it up with all the Ps+ titles!

Wow! What a list! I missed out on Spec Ops by a month. Would have loved to try that game out.
Yeah, there's three of four games I missed by about month that I've bought since.

Say what you will about PS+ and ownership / regional differences / blah blah blah, that's a ridiculous number of games in one year. I think that I'm going to start picking off the PS+ collection in the order pictured and see if I can finish by next year's anniversary.
Then you'll have a whole new task to tackle! That's not entirely inconsequential though, even if you finished 20% of them already that's still finishing a game a week.

Did you guys not hop on PS+ right when the IGC was announced?  Is it because you didn't have a PS3 at the time, or you still didn't think it was worth $50 at that time?

Didn't have a PS3 or Vita and didn't expect to get either at the time. That and as a non-PS3 owner it really didn't seem like it was going to be half this good when they announced it since Sony was consistently failing to live up to promises around that time.

Just finished Hotline Miami on the Vita and while it's definitely worth $10, there are some very aggravating parts towards the end.
Yeah, I would have personally cut one or two of the levels from a gameplay perspective but they were very important to what's actually going on in the game.
