The thing is if your PS+ sub expired, would this still work? I imagine you'd keep it because the PS4 ugprade page doesn't mention anything about PS+.

See, that's my question as well.

I've purchased a few cross buy games which turned my PS+ into a permanent purchase.. which was always nice.

I am really interested in this upgrade.

I traded in Dishonored GOTY/Complete because of the definitive release and this seems to split the difference and feel like a perfect purchase.

 
Are the discounts on Bastion and Transistor only exclusive to PS+ members? I'm still seeing full price on both games...

The only worrisome thing I'm seeing is that they're calling it an add-on. I haven't ever done a PS3-PS4 upgrade, so I don't know.

 
I love the fact the Call of Duty so far are not really deals.

I was able to get them in a double pack with the same free DLC packs offered in this "Sale" for $16 at BestBuy with GCU.

I hope these are just place holder for now and in a few hours will actually be on sale but for now.. this is rather pathetic and disheartening.

Those are the MSRPs. The sale isn't live yet.

 
^You guys will know when the sale is live - the site will become impossible to navigate (or even reach). If you see a ton of people complaining that they cant get to the page or they can't sign in, the sale is live. :)

Digital games don't seem to depreciate in value as fast as physical copies.

I still need to beat the series now that I think about it.. I picked up the digital of BO1 for Xbox for like $5 a few weeks back and I am hoping it'll be on the XB1 BC Whitelist.

i would really love to get dishonored for $20 but wow that release date is brutal. until dawn, madden, gears remake on the same day and mgs v and mad max the week after that.

 
The Evil Within season pass is finally on sale, and it's the ps4 version only.  Figures...

And ya...sucks that those of us with the disc version of Journey kinda got screwed with cross buy...  I actually ended up rebuying Flower cheap on the vita during a sale, too.  Oh well.

Anyone think that Dishonored 2 is going to have any integration with the first game save on the current consoles? I'm playing through it on the PS3 right now, so I have no idea if the story ends with any indication it'd tie into 2.

From what I've seen of Dishonored 2's story and characters/protagonists, it looks like it treats the "good" ending of Dishonored as canon and picks up 15 years after that. So I'm doubting there will be any real reason for save carry-over.

Thanks! Saved me $20, playing through the game of the year edition, so the $20 wouldn't be worth it unless you'd never played the dlc likely.
 
Heavy week for me. Picked up Hatoful Boyfriend, Tembo, Bastion (which I beat and loved on 360), Journey (which I beat and loved on PS3), and the new Batman DLC.

Darn...I guess I never claimed dishonored when it was free for PS+ since I don't have a PS3 anymore and buggy it for 360 digital.

So here's to hoping they have a similar promo for X1 lol

I was never fortunate enough to own one of my own when it was relevant and I don't really keep legacy consoles around because I don't play them. Still remember when they dropped it to $99 and I convinced my father who hadn't seen us for Christmas yet to get it for me. We spent that day running around checking stores and couldn't find one anywhere. Never had another chance to get one after that and haven't really felt compelled to hunt one down in more recent times. Fortunately my best friend in high school had one so got to enjoy most of the great stuff the system had to offer.

 
Considering Disgaea as I've never played the series and I've heard good things about it but I've never been huge into tactical grid based RPGs. Kinda interested in Demon's Souls but not for that price considering a brand new disc based copy runs for similar already. The rest of these sales... meh.

 
Honestly, all of these "remasters" should be $20. Most of these games have such minor enhancements that these studios are probably making a killing with next to no investment in development, slapping "definitive" on it and hoping to get away with charging you a second time.
