Even thought this show is only like 30 minutes from my house, I also will be enjoying it with other internet viewing enthusiasts.

[quote name='guyver2077']hell yea!!!

so who's going?[/QUOTE]

Thinking about going as it's only 15 minutes away from me via turnpike. Going to work the next day would be difficult.

The last Raw before WM is here in Atlanta. WWE sent me an email today as a reminder that tickets are still available. Yeah, I'll pass.

The local theater charges $15 a head to watch it on the big screen (which I'm pretty sure is illegal), and it's apparently a sellout every year, filled to the aisles with rednecks.

$20 says that in 2014 Vince goes with WM 30 instead of WM XXX for the obvious reasons.

Actually, if WWE swings back to TV-14 by that point they could easily go with XXX.

Plus they're probably all loaded down with $40
not an exaggerated amount, those theater concession prices are kuh-raaaazy
worth of popcorn, nachos, candy and soda. Each. Not to mention the smuggled in liquor.

WWE has some kind of deal with movie theaters for various PPVs. One of my local theaters participates, but I've never gone. I guess its a throw back to the old closed circuit days of watching PPV.

I get the appeal of a lower price point but who would want to sit in a theater chair for 4.5-5 hours? I once sat through Gods and Generals at a theater which was almost 4 hours but that included an intermission and I was still ready to get out of there going into the fourth hour.

We'll be there, and for Raw as well. Looking foward to axxess too.

This is the only show I still actually get...well a friend usually buys it since it's close to my birthday.

No PPV for 1 and 2 (and was too young anyway), went to 3, skipped 21 & 22, went to 23, watched a stream of 24. Other than that I've watched them all on PPV.

Meh. Going to see Guitar Wolf play, and then gonna catch the season premiere of Game of Thrones on DVR. No WM for me, but that's cool.

I won't get to see it. Too much studying for the flying to do.

I did thoroughly enjoy the burying of WCW at the end of the last thread. So many memories of watching them just piss away millions of dollars. That said, I'll be getting the Clash of Champions blu-ray on day one. The match listing is golden.

Except, they'll make it so the X looks more like an H, so it'll be WrestleMania HHH. ...and that'll be when Trips make his yearly comeback to defend his streak.

I'll be there. Can't wait! Never been to a PPV event, only house shows and Raws. And this is going to be such a great show. Got good seats, good friends going with me, a Rey Mysterio mask for comedy...I'm ready! Probably going to do Axxess on Saturday, but haven't decided yet.

Cool.. I might check out one of the axxess days but not sure...

Im kinda worried about my tix though.. i have 'club' seats... which is higher than lower level... im honestly not sure though if they are worth keeping..

one thing is for sure though... i dont think i will be buying through ticketmaster again they day tickets go on sale.. usually price and selection are much better as the event gets closer.

Why 8 matches again this year in 4 hours? Remember when they used to have 11 matches in 4 hours back then?

And back then people bitched because the card was stuffed full of matches so each match would be "too short".

Really? So for example: WrestleMania 17's matches were short? Like TLC2, Austin / Rock 2, Taker / HHH?

Let's not pretend that the divas will be given 25 minutes.

Rock/Cena will go on at like 10:05. 7 minutes of video packages, 8 minutes of entrances, maybe a backstage interview or two, cut to the announcers, and it's 10:23 before the bell has rung.

WM is four hours with a LOT of filler, but generally the atmosphere of the show is fun enough that it's not like "oh, fuck, it's Santino singing for Roddy Piper and Snoop Dogg" eye-rolling filler.

Or, rather...drat. Bad example.

Speaking of filler, the GM tag match will probably eat up a lot of time. I'm going to guess there are going to be individual entrances for everyone, and Johnny will probably have a little mic time.

Yup, 15 minutes of entrance time, five minutes of mic time, and 10 minutes of match time = 30 minute bathroom break. Same goes for that shit looking diva match.

Yup! Flying to Miami Friday to meet up with a friend and sitting in the Central Risers (one level up from floor seating) about 3 or 4 rows back.

Went last year when it was in Atlanta (big group, club seats). Had to give it another try.

A pretty awesome Daniel Bryan "Yes, Yes, Yes" shirt can be found on Barbershopwindow.com

Edit: Just got a tweet from BSW saying that if you buy any shirt in the overstock bin, you will receive a free "YES!, YES!, YES!" t-shirt.

Is the GM match an elimination tag match? I don't remember. I think it would be better that way than a standard tag match, just my personal opinion.

It can also double as a Diego Sanchez shirt.

Interesting news coming out of NOAH.

Pro wrestling is a dying industry. New Japan sold for just a few million. All Japan and NOAH created a working agreement to try to stay alive. Really sad to see puro in a state where it's barely clinging to life.

If Natty decides to interfere, your words could be truer than you know.

I wouldn't mind "YES" somehow becoming the new "WHAT." At least it would change things up a little if fans have to be that fucking obnoxious.

Kevin Nash Reveals Why His Match With CM Punk Didn't Happen
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.23.2012

--Kevin Nash spoke today about why his match with CM Punk was derailed after Summerslam and more. Check out the highlights:

On why his match with Punk didn't happen: "I'll tell you what nobody knows about this entire thing. I never went into it and WWE never went into it because of the privacy issue. What happened was, because of the wellness program, because my dad died of a heart attack at 36 years old, they do beyond a thorough physical. Well, my heart and everything else was fine, but I'm on Plavix and Plavix is a blood platelet agulator; they call it a blood thinner. It's not, it stops your platelets from sticking together so you don't get cardiovascular disease and blockages in your arteries and have a heart attack. it's also for stroke. It's very common to take with a statin drug if you have anybody in your heredity who died before 50 let alone having a father who died of a massive coronary at age 36. So I was on Plavix. So this comes through. When the doctor sees I'm on Plavix, I can't wrestle. So now I'm supposed to wrestle C.M. Punk. I can't. They won't medically clear me. Triple H has to take my spot. It screws up the entire angle. That's how all that came about. WWE would never - because that's the class of the program - let that come out, but I need to make sure people realize it wasn't Creative's [fault], it was that a 52 year old guy was on Plavix and I had to go off it. I had to be off it for a certain amount of time before I could go back to work. It just so happened that I was finishing the Soderbergh film "Magic Mike" at the time, and I had to go shoot that, so it coincided with me going away for a while. I took the shot with the sledgehammer in Buffalo at Night of Champions and that got me away until I could be clear, and then I came back and we went into the match with Paul [Triple H] and I. At that point, Phil [C.M. Punk] and I sort of missed our opportunity to have that match. That's the true untold story that I give only Wade Keller (laughs)."

On the storyline being rewritten on the fly: "When my blood work came back and threw such a wrench into everything, it was, 'Oh my God how are we going to get out of it?' We had to drag Paul and then this in it and this in it and that in it. Can he work? Can he not work? Can we still get this match out of him? So that's where the dialogue between Phil and I were getting was changing up until show time. It wasn't because creative was unprepared, it was because I kept shuffling the deck. Oh, we're playing Texas Hold 'em. No, we're playing Indian Poker. (laughs) I kept throwing these things into it and completely throwing wrenches into what they were trying to get done. It got to the point where we got that match out of me and they were just like… I wanted to be on Plavix. Do I need to not be on Plavix and take a risk of having a heart attack and stroke or do I want to work. That's where this whole situation kind of came to. That's what transpired."

On who was supposed to be the man who texted him: "It would have been Johnny [Laurinaitis]. It would have been Johnny trying to end around and me trying to say that Paul had changed because he was a blue blood now and he wasn't Clique. He was in the McMahon threshold. We were going to get a Johnny Ace clique of guys to try to take over control of the company, that's when Vince would have gotten fired, and then we would have been after Paul and try to take control of the company. You know, good storyline."

On getting the call to appear at SummerSlam: "I got a call and they said 'Can you be at SummerSlam and can you stick Punk and let Del Rio grab the strap?' And I went 'yes.' (laughs) I'm not that dumb. Whoa! You're talking about disappearing from the Rumble and coming back. I got that second pop when I showed up at Summersrlam and stuck him. People were, like, what the hell. I thought it was excellently booked. It was just screwed up because I was on Plavix."

I hope that's an older picture from the past year because I can't see him going 20 minutes or so in Hell in a Cell if he's in that kind of shape. McCool looks good though.
