Will it work with my 3DS?
Officially, 3DS's are only compatible with cards up to 32GB, however multiple sources show formatting the card properly will work just fine (even up to 128GB!):

As always, firmware updates make hardware compatability plastic, so there is no guarantee it will always work. However, they apparently haven't bothered to change it thus far.

You can probably just stick the memory card into a digital camera and format it into fat32 format as well. Then just delete the folder the camera creates in the memory card and you're set.

I managed to get free shipping, store pickup available as well. Comes with SD adapter. The description calls this an SDHC, I believe it may be an SDXC. Picked up one for my camera, but would be great for a tablet or other gaming device.
Link isn't working for me buy SKU is 1299201 if anyone else has the same issue. It's definitely XC not HC. Tempting but I think that is probably way overkill for the 3DS and hopefully Amazon will have a quality 32GB for $15 or less.

FWIW, I have a very similar model and have used it in my 3DS for quite some time with no issues. It does require a reformatting software because Windows won't format larger drives to FAT32 any more.

It bears mentioning that future 3DS software updates could cause problems, however.

What's XC/HC? Is there a better card than this? I *think* this is one I was looking at to put in my mom's Windows Phone and/or Surface if I pick one up on Black Friday.

damn thats cheap. I've been looking for a 64gb for my phone.

edit: nvm phone only officially supports up to 32gb =/.

It's the various standards for size. Anything 4GB and below is standard SD, 8GB to 32GB is SDHC, 64GB to 2TB is SDXC. Each is backwards compatible to the older spec but generally not forward compatible. Some devices will allow a higher capacity card to operate if it's properly formatted or can have their firmware updated in some cases and support newer standards than their original spec but hat's the exception.

Many phones that say that will accept 64 GB cards. I recommend finding the device specific forum at xda or androidforums (or Windows Phone forums if that's what you've got). There's a good chance someone has already discovered and posted about whether or not it'll work.
