No, that price is from the old TRU clearance back in December. My local has a lot of stuff left from that, too, like Jak II and Polarium Advance for $9.9x and Polarium for $4.9x.

If some of these clearence games are getting marked down 50% from the 12/26 price I might have to go for a little drive tomorrow and try to score a Ys Ark of Napistism for PSP for $10 :) If they had any penny guides left sitting out I'd take those too lol

Grr. Y's sold out months ago at my store. Long before the clearance started. I really loved the first three games too :(

I was at TRU last Sunday and they wanted $20 for Champloo.
 
I can confirm it is $5.00. I saw it marked for that price at TRU today

Darn. My store is long since totally cleared out. Wish I could have gotten Y's for the PSP. I waited and waited and waited for it to hit $20 :(

It seems like a bunch of the December clearance games went down in price by half, yet many others did not (for example, The Tower SP is still $9.98).
 
I found Atelier Iris 2: Azoth of Destiny (PS2) for $5 in the bargain bin Thursday. That was a nice surprise, as I had no idea it was part of the clearance. :)
 
I stopped by my TRU today and found the same thing as most other CAGs are saying. Some of the games from December for $5 and some are still $9.98 (or half of what they were marked down to back in December if marked down lower then they were in December). I also saw some other games marked down that I don't remember being from the clearance from December that might have been freshly marked down or have been marked down for abit and have just been put on the floor recently as they were found in the security booth recently (my store still does the ticket system for anything over $20)

Afew games I remember seeing, sorry if they have already been mentioned or have been this price for awhile as it kind of blurs with some of these games if they just got their clearance prices cut in half or if they have had their prices cut in half months ago. For example I saw afew Metroid Classic for GBA for $5 which might have been $5 for months but is new to my store seeing as they just put them out on the floor since I've last been in this store afew weeks ago.

Hitman: Blood Money is down to $7.48 for PC.. I passed on it last night. I shouldn't have, but I did. I have it on 360. I hope someone that doesn't already have it gets it.
 
I was out at the Brookfield location last night and it was pretty dry.. Managed to pick up Trace Memory for $10... Anyone in the area know if the N76th one is even worth the trip ???
 
This past week saw FFVI for 360 for $11 ish can't remember exactly but much less than the $20 I see everywhere else...shoulda picked it up now I have to go back:roll:
 
I scanned Donkey Konga 1 & 2 with bongo sets (both games) at $20 each. Pretty lame since I can them them used for like $12 at game crazy...

I bet those were S-video cables. They've been on clearance for 16.98 since before Christmas

Nope only some of the games from the December clearance got a price drop. I checked Gunstar Super Heroes & Drill Dozer at the price scanner in my store and they were both still 9.98 as I though they might be $5 and not properly marked.
 
So are clearance prices automatic? My TRU (North Seattle) is ghetto, it always smells like urine. I think because of the urine, perhaps they don't update prices often. They had a clearance bin, but with only a few things in it (I picked up Trace Memory for $10 and Polarium for $5). Will the things on the shelf, when listed in this thread as clearance, scan at a clearance price?
 
My local TRU here in Richmond is dropping a ton of the originally clearanced prices by another 25-30% this week. I didnt check every one, but it apparently is the majority of the older clearanced titles, so I would assume it's national and not just local. Worth checking out at least.

Here in CT, I found Metal Saga for PS2 marked down to $6.90 and Top Spin 2 for GBA down to $1.90. When they were scanned at the register, the sale prices did not show so they had to do a correction. They both had humongous orange stickers about 2" x 2" with the sale prices and bar code, but the bar code did not work in the registers. No matter, they sold them to me for the sale prices.

Those were manual markdown tags. Usually they are reserved for returned/open merchandise that is not defective.

Yeah, I'd have to agree that they were manual markdown tags, though I also saw them on a bunch of XBox Xmen Legends 2 games that were sealed with original shrinkwrap and had these stickers on them dropping the price for the XMen Legends 2 to $2.90 per game.

Oh and I also saw an Intec Universal Steering wheel and pedals (Model 5825) that said it worked for PS1, PS2, XB and GC going for $10.98.
 
hmm...wondering if anyone has the patients to start a fresh thread with the current prices....its kinda difficult to read 69 pages and to decipher which prices are valid....
 
Bought Kinetic w/ camera $18 + Valkyrie Profile PSP $10 - $5 coupon + Tax = $24.78

Cashier told me that the coupon should be in color. I told him this is from toysrus.com email. He told me they are doing the wrong way, they should mail to you the coupon, he called the manager and finally he just scanned the coupon. Any problems like this with ya cags here?????
