I'm not sure whether to thank you or commiserate with you over your sacrifice, but, uh, this serves to confirm what I suspected about these exciting LOOT BOXES that GMG is blasting everyone's emails about. So there's a <1% that you'll get a key for Mass Effect Andromeda for your $10. Wow. I thought Humble monthlies or Groupees's mystery crap bundles were a gamble, but this is just sad.

So... what was in the Square Enix Spring Surprise Box? Did anyone buy it?

Wait, wait. Nevermind. I jumped the gun. Pre-orders are still live through the 29th.

I guess I just wanted to see what kind of disappointment ends up being in that 'Surprise Box.'

Just the EU box has been revealed so far.

  • Just Cause 3 (base game only)
  • Mini Ninjas
  • Tomb Raider: Anniversary
  • Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days
The North American box will be revealed sometime on 3/30. Not sure if there's any guaranteed overlap or if all the games will be fresh (and quality).

They took 5 sale event cycles to even put the expansion pass on sale in the first place. They finally did for the first time the last time the game was on a midweek. They are stingy as fuck with that thing.

I'm sure people remember the cluster fuck that Nightdive went through trying to get this released some time ago.

I got to the 3rd? 4th? planet. The graphics are the LEAST of the games issues. After you get sent to go do a quest ONLY to be given a quest where you have to turn around and go back to where you came from... it's aggravating. I've now shelved it to play KH1-kajillion.

This is coming from someone who beat 1, 2, 3 (and loves the Mako).

Nice @ them modding it all up in one nice + easy package.

Are they going to do one for Contract JACK, too?

Mass Effect Andromeda is still fun. On the 2nd planet and at like 28 hours.

Lots of fun.

Though if those animations/character models were changed like that...kind of lame

So either this is some hacker scam or they just said fuck it, release it until someone decides to come after them? The webpage is just a single page. im grabbing the files but ill probably hold off on the install a bit. I remember that article where they threw in the towel on getting rights to these game because noone could definitely say who had them. May take a while for someone to even notice.
