But I've owned the game for months.

okay so valve made mistake from rmeovoing the ubisoft game on uk instead worldwide

Update on my previous post: I just got off the phone with Ubisoft Technical Support about this issue and they said that it was not meant to be removed worldwide, only from the UK, and it was an error on Steam's part. They said they are working and communicating with the folks at Steam to get it back to Steam. (Besides the UK, it's permanently done with there.)
But why is it even being removed anywhere? BTW that was actually surprisingly legible. Good job!

i think they restocked the shadow warrior 75% off keys on alienware anyways i got one

http://eu.alienwarearena.com/giveaways/shadow-warrior-75-steam-discount-key-giveaway

game is still 75% off on steam so it goes from $39.99 to $2.50 with the coupon

i didn't get an email with the coupon but i went to settings on alienware website (little gear icon next to your name), then giveaways to find it

i'd just buy the regular version, the SE only includes two ingame DLC weapons and the soundtrack, nothing extra.  doesn't look like the coupon works on SE anyways

first steam buy in a couple weeks, been busy with consoles and all the various bundles have been massively disappointingly bad

The fine print:

The Steam key redeemer cannot have a CAG forum account. Instead, he/she must maintain some familial, romantic, platonic, or vocational tie to a CAG forum user, posting through that user as a conduit for said request. Said conduit in turn must have made at least 100 posts and must provide independent verification of said relationship via a minimum of three unaffiliated character witnesses. Circumvention of said regulations will be met with Steam key revocation and/or notification of gross misconduct to Playfire.

Quote which games you want (more than one is OK but be reasonable), must have at least 100 posts, open to previous requesters

I feel kinda bad asking since you gave me a game yesterday. But since you're at the "I'm only gonna throw these away" stage, my accountant's nephew would like Steel & Steam Ep 1.

Little Jimmy thanks you very much for your generosity.

My "other me" does not have a CAG account. "He" is in love with BobbyTastic (platonic romance yeah). Tebow and others can provide the true about that relationship.

In summary if nobody asks you for any game from your list I wouldn't mind taking from your hands Memories of a Vagabond

My cats would like Lords of the Fallen. Just throwin' that out there.

I even give them my Steam password because I trust them as far as I can throw them...which is quite far.

Thanks for sharing. Next thing I know you'll be all "hey can i have a steam key for my cat's account? and another for my cat's daughter's teacher's favorite porn cat star's pastor's account as well?"

I'm curious how this whole Ubi games removed from Steam situation is going to play out. I bought Far Cry 4 Gold through Origin using an "exploit" and I'm wondering if it'll be effected as well.
When AC3 and FC3 were up for preorder, I remember they took them off the UK Steam store for a month or so then brought it back. It could just be to keep retailers sweet with them and to encourage more people to use uPlay.

Eh maybe it's just the historical era he prefers.
I think I went into details of my reason, times before.

For those who missed out on my reasons for AC3 over ACR or actually want a refresher course on that, go check the spoilers....

That's definitely part of it, yes - with the era. I really loved the Colonial setting - especially w/ the stuff in BOSTON, which is not too far from home here - during the shaping of our nation.

Also, I preferred the new gameplay mechanics - the tree-hopping and hunting stuff was cool.

I didn't care for many of the side-quests in ACR - i.e. the tower defense missions + the Gold Edition's Portal-like puzzles for Desmond. For me, ACR felt like a lot of "more of the same," gameplay-wise - which felt like it was getting a bit stale by ACR, which hasn't changed too much since AC2 + ACB. I did like the new hook-blade in ACR, though.

The two things that kept me going w/ ACR - ACR's story + characters. ACR's story is tons more plausible than AC3 (certainly, Connor showing up + having a major hand in almost every important event + battle in the start of American History is just ridiculous + ludicrous) + the characters are often way more interesting in ACR (sorry, but Connor as a character in AC3 - nope, didn't really like him at all). Sorry, but I'll take Ezio + Altair over Connor any day. Connor is just....there and is boring; kind of like Aiden Pearce in Watch Dogs.

It's too bad that I didn't find the ACR gameplay improved much over ACB. AC3 was more interesting to me, in the gameplay department + with its setting. Oh - and the naval missions in AC3 were awesome.

Far Cry 4 and AC unity just got added back to Steam

I guess they made a mistake trying to remove the pages for UK residents and did it for the whole world instead..

Standard edition, I assume? It didn't say it was the Redux version but I thought Standard was no longer available through Steam.

Edit: Whoops, I was wrong. Metro 2033 (standard) is still on Steam for $15.
It was removed, but restored later.

There seems no reason to go with Redux thought.

Wait - from reviews and gamers, I thought the selling points for Metro 2033 Redux was that it was put on the improved LL Engine; and that you could also take a Stealthier approach to missions (i.e. like you can w/ a decent amount of Metro LL)??

Regardless - right now, I wouldn't buy Metro 2033 Redux or LL Redux, until they get a crazy sale. I already own Metro 2033 original + Metro LL original.

If I did buy LL Redux - it'd be to get all the DLC, since I'm missing all of the DLC in the original pack.
