Only things I bought myself were the Saints Row IV GotC pack and the Don't Starve Frontier pack since a friend of mine was interested in the multiplayer. Pretty disappointing sale overall though, a lot of older titles didn't reach my price point (Looking at you Dishonored DLC) and nothing else really caught my eye. Perhaps the upcoming humble bundle will give me something to look forward to or perhaps it's wishful thinking.

So what, no more voting? :(

I'll be dumping my cards later today so uh, if you need something, do it now.

Here's your "hidden deals", if you must: Packs and then Games because that's what those lists amount to most of the time.

Maybe?

I haven't been paying attention, but I don't think South Park Pinball was on sale earlier. Not that it's really on sale now either, but...
Every South Park fan should buy this. Best of all, it also comes with The Butters Show table.

if you were only talking about the steam price then yes that is the lowest. Please buy it so it can be put in a humble bundle. Thanks!
Ubi hasn't done a Humble yet. Even if they do there is no guarantee of Steam keys. Humble store sells it only as a MysterDRM Free download, while Newegg sells it as a UPlay key, so possibly they could do a UPlay Humble bundle at some point.

I completely expect them to at some point in 2015. It's no surprise that the Origin Humble greatly increased the amount of people who had to use that platform as well as their "On The House" & "Game Time" programs. Its a cheap way to inflate a userbase, but there are more than a few who wont touch anything other than Steam.

How come some of you guys don't like buying DRM free games? Can't you just add them to your steam client?

Quick -- you probably have a few minutes to delete your question before the inevitable 30 pages of arguments begin.

Lots of people in the Steam thread like Steam and its features. They don't want to be bothered keeping up with piles of files and would rather Steam do it for them.

Oh I thought by adding it to Steam you'd still have access to it's features. I guess that makes sense

Agree. Total fail for lack of even trying.

I know is a cliche, but without a doubt, this sale was the worst. They didn't even tried it. No events, a TON of early access sales, crappy discounts (every other seller had better deals), awful games with crap discounts on the community voting, flash sales lasting 12 hours (how the hell is that a "flash"?). And now a 2 days of "encore". They don't have anything more to give, so just 2 days of some games.

It's like this sale is an improvisation. "Hey, december is here! You have all the winter sale ready, don'y you?". "err... yes, we do... but... what do we sell again?"

The sale was that bad that we didn't even had seasonal CAGs!!!"

um steam, why you send me a email that ACM is on sale and when I click on the image in the email from steam I'm directed to the sega webstie?  yes I know it was pulled....

The following items on your wishlist are on sale:

Well, made a "last minute" (give or take 46 hours) purchase of Transistor since I said I'd reconsider it if it came back as an encore.

Lame sale.  Laaaaaaaaaaammeeeeeeee sale.

Bought from Steam: Transistor, How to Survive: Storm Warning Ed., Overcast - Walden & the Werewolf and Gearcrak Arena (last two just because they were 20¢)

Bought elsewhere: Castlevania LoS 2, Castlevania Mirror of Fate, Shadow of Mordor

I gave away fifteen copies of Monster Challenge Circus and now have "15 Friends already own this game" so I feel like Johnny Appleseed spreading it into new lands

In return, I received Bad Rats, sZone, Murder Miners, Bit.Trip Runner, Puzzler World, Clans, War Operations, Aerena and Shannon Tweed's Attack of the Groupies proving that the spirit of Christmas Giving is not dead.

My Steam emoticon for crafting the winter badge was, appropriately, "Sad Elf".
