yea i see your point, guys. i did not like the DLC move but for some reason did not mind as much as the vocal anti-SFxT team on the internet, I avoided the game until the first major price drop (19.99 with reward zone coupon; proof in that thread of my finally deciding to purchase), but will happily play the game now because it is a great fighter.
I will get back to the point of the website and say it's a great deal for 18.99. you all spoke and the market listened.
I always wonder how big a company has to get before we consider something gouging and not just supporting development costs. i was always more vocal on SRK about the gems DLC costing too much and not the DLC characters. (which I still complain about rationally to capcom every industry event I get the chance to)
Presumably, since none of us are on the dev team, i'll just assume everyone on here is right. the hacked characters were finalized, no work was done to update that part of the roster at all, and capcom's ceo was stroking a cat with a metal arm.
For the people on the fence, it doesn't replace my SSFV play time but it's a TON of fun!!
@havok: yea dude that makes sense and as a FG fanatic, i'm well aware. it's a good point. but i was referring to more than just gameplay tweaks which were claimed. i never played the hacked characters so I don't know that it was just the balancing or if there were other changes. for some reason when that hacked thing came out i never heard/read anyone detailing combo info, frame data, etc. i was under the impression that they were far from finished. i acknowledge i could be wrong and capcom may have lied.
