Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo $7.99 at www.videogamealliance.com
it says $7.99... am I missing something?
I want to know the same thing. And is this site realiable? Is the game new? Details! :)

This is from digitpress, not sure how old the info is:

Description: Originally much tougher to find, a recent cleaning out of Capcoms warehouse made this a bit easier to find.

They could be legit sealed copies if this is true.

They have 289 in stock, but that shipping is ridiculous. Then again, someone could order several and distribute them as shipping stays $9 for up to 12 copies.

Yeah it's $7.99, not $17, my mistake. I don't know if they tax, but it's still a great deal if the place is legit. Anybody know if they're reliable?

Site looks legit to me especially given it's a CA number. This game is VERY good and is retailing used for $30+ if you can find one. I haven't seen new ones of these in at least 3 years though so finding 300+ new ones makes you wonder.

although at one point this game was getting about $30 for a used copy on ebay, prices have dropped...new copies now can be obtained for about $30...this "warehouse find" can explain the increased number of new puzzle fighters circulating...

The only thing that matters now is whether or not the web site is secure and reliable.. I've yet to find anything about videogamealliance's legitimacy.

This site looks like its a one man managed site. Doesn't look legit to me. If something is too good to be true. Then it is iffy. We had something like this a while back.

Taken from their site
"Credit Cards
We accept Visa®, MasterCard®. Please be sure to provide the exact billing address and telephone number that your credit card issuer has on file for you. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order

Credit Card Security
All credit card information is stored on a secured server. You don't have to worry about the safety of your credit card information when shopping at videogamealliance.com. You can rest assured that your online shopping experience will be a secure one.

We use encryption technology to ensure that any information you transmit during the ordering process is secure. Our servers are secured to protect all personal information including credit card numbers, your address and any products you may order."

They emphasize too much on making sure you give them an accurate credit card information. It's like they can't test it right then and there when you're making a purchase. And they indicated that if your credit card info is inaccurate ... it will cause a delay... how would it cause a delay when the info is wrong? Either the credit card works or it don't.

I'm tempted to get this too... not sure how legit it is though.

This store doesn't even have the right release dates. It says Nintendogs comes out on "06-17." That's news to me... I thought Nintendo delayed it a while back to August.

i just checked the site and realized this is the PSX one... didnt this use to go for like $80 on ebay? good game tho... one of my fav puzzle games of all time... already got it for my GBA tho :D

i say not to jump on this..unless you have one of those visa gift cards that work like a credit card with like $20 on it or until someone can confirm the sites realiable. we dont need anyone getting their cc info stolen cause that would just suck.

yea i had those a while back. One time use credit cards but I used up all my funds. I'm waiting too but I doubt its legit.

why would anyone wanna try it with a sketchy policy like that?

If I had a credit card with online protection, I would. However, there's no way I'm putting up my personal debit card which has no insurance against such things.

can't anybody use those Visa (or some other company I forget) gift cards that act like credit cards with a limited amount of money?

Frankly, I don't even know if those exist anymore

alright guys, I placed an order for a couple with a credit card I never use (if there is any problem, I can just dispute the charge and cancel this card)

I got order confirmation through email, I will update when i hear anything else.

You are a brave man, my friend. Or possibly stupid. We'll see soon. :)

I bit.

Look at the site - it's not like he's selling Rez, Gitaroo Man, Suikoden II. He's got a bunch of overstock crap and Puzzle Fighter, which has been showing up in stores on and off for the last several months.

Now, it might be that he meant to put 17.99 and we'll all get "sorry, there was an error" emails tomorrow morning - but I highly doubt it is a scam.

Is this for a new or used copy? I looked and may have missed it, but there is nothing indicating this site is selling new copies of this game.

And if anyone can.. maybe someone can order two copies for me. I'll pay $25 for two.

I might still order from the site though, just depends on how well things go.

Well, actually, I think they could be legit. Although they don't accept checks or money order, deepdiscountdvd.com doesn't either. Security looks the same, too.

Most places will place a hold on a credit card and let you know there was a problem with something on the credit card.

I've seriously considered jumping in as well. I even shot them (him?) an e-mail asking if they're listed on any store-rating sites. (We'll see if an answer comes.) But yeah, I'd just use a throwaway number my Citi card allows me to have if I finally muster the courage to pull the trigger. Certain card companies offer complete fraud protection online (without any $50 deductible), so that might be the way to go here.

Incidentally, it looks like the shopping-cart page allows you to plug in 999 units for your order now (though that probably wouldn't go through), and if you add 376 units, and break a $3,000 subtotal, you get free shipping instead of $24 for standard shipping at that price. Can't wait for Best Buy and Circuit City to adopt that promotion. ;)
At least two people here got in on the deal.. let us know how everything goes.
i've got what I guess is an order confirmation. the emails are so generic, they don't really tell you where your stuff is coming from. i'll update when/if i get it.

looks now like my order was cancelled. I just noticed the charge disappeared from my credit card, no emails or anything. this company is pretty junky, can't even email me to tell me my order was cancelled. I am willing to be they are cancelling all orders and they will relist it for a higher price. we'll see.

I think you just got ripped... Now they have your credit card info. I would be wary of your CC now. I knew if I placed my order they would cancel it. After all, it seem like all they wanted was your cc info.

oh well, i used a credit card i never use with a 0$ balance, if i see anything fishy going on I'll dispute it and cancel the card
Who is that in your avatar? :)
saddly, I know the answer to this:

the girl is Briana Banks, a pornstar that's been in the industry for quite some time now. She's pretty big (chested) in the pron industry... geeze, I know too much.
