Bundle Stars offers PC game bundles at a relatively fixed price for a "limited time".

Prices may vary a little depending on current exchange rates.

Steam, Desura, GG, etc. keys are provided for most of the games.

Bundle Stars also has their own store selling Steam games.

List of all current bundles

Bundles seem to be randomly revived after they expire for shorter periods of time, so if you don't see a bundle listed here you may still want to check the current bundle listing link above.

Do prices ever go back down on these bundles? I missed out on the RPG bundle for $3.75 and it looks like there's still a lot of time left (27 days). If bundles often go back down in price I can wait, but if not I'll just pay the extra dollar.

BS sometimes puts its bundles on sale.

It's hit-or-miss. Usually not but occasionally--I suspect when one is either not selling well or is selling extraordinarily well--BS will announce a temporary price drop.

Aside from when they do the first x hours/day discount, and the 50% off around black Friday, have they done it before? I don't remember any other sales off the top of my head.
Well, that's why I used an unqualified italicized 'sometimes'. They did mass discount a few bundles a couple weeks ago as well. It's hard to say if this was just a holiday thing or a new trend.

Edit: I do recall them doing a 50% off sale on one bundle prior to BF.

Edit #2: It was Indie Jam #2, 50% off in September.

I imagine we all already have half of those games, so expect an epic dump if one of us wins.

They ran half off one of the bundles the final 2 days sometime last year. Other than that it's just for holiday events. BF, X-Mas, etc. I usually wait out the bundle for the duration, if it isnt reduced sometime before it gets to 1 day left I buy it. I've got enough games to play lol

A few hours left on the Planes, Trains & Automobiles bundle. I picked that up as I had none of the games and was surprised to see it added 12 games to my Library, due to the way several of them are actually mini-bundles in themselves.

This would be great if I didn't already own CiM and CiM 2 from bundles. Now it just seems like I'd spend more money than I spent on the base game on DLCs for a game I'm not sure I'd like and for which I already own the sequel (which has its own DLC); that's not a CAGly move, from where I'm sitting.
Hoarding DLC for games you haven't played is pretty CAGly IMO.

Well, it is CAGly, I'll concede, but it's not cheap. And personally I vowed to ease up on the buying-DLC-for-games-I-don't-even-know-if-I-will-enjoy thing after I spent about $8 on Borderlands 1 DLC that sits mostly unplayed.

picked up thanks! They usually post something new immediately?
New Bundle Stars bundles are released pretty randomly, and they also randomly revive expired bundles (which is why I keep a list of inactive bundles in the OP so I don't have to retype everything).

If anyone don't want or already have Iron Sky: Invasion, I'll take them off you. (for a reasonable price)

Hmmm dat's pretty tempting.  Although every time I think Tropico series looking appealing I watch a few videos and temper my interest.  'dis seems more like a mooch Day One, Port Royale 3, and T4 bundle than a buy yourself type of bundle.

In for port royale and day one. I'll just say it, I don't see how anyone can complain about bundle stars.
That's pretty easy, actually... they all can't be winners, so sometimes you do end up with pretty underwhelming looking bundles, as well as the fact that you will frequently see certain games get used multiple times across multiple bundles.

Additionally, you're typically only going to get middle-tier games out of Bundle Stars.

But, so long as you temper your expectations, it is pretty fantastic at what it does.

Really good bundle - OP updated.

Edit: From their newsletter - I think they got our number:

Want to unlock cool stuff with Steam Trading Cards?
Play Tropico 4, Stealth Bastard Deluxe, Port Royale 3 and Day One: Garry's Incident to earn Steam Trading Cards. Sets of cards can be turned into game badges and tradeable Steam Community items!

$37 for an emoticon! What are they smoking?
Did you know that one of the more expensive items on the Steam Community Market is a controversial emoticon, which you can own by collecting a set of trading cards from Port Royale 3?

I own most of those anyway but didn't Bundlestars used to do a discount on the first day sales or is that some other bundlin' outfit I'm thinking of?

They do that on some of their bundles but not all of them. The games in this one are probably too high-profile to warrant a bait.

FTFBS

Why not? They're selling Indiegala-quality bundles without Indiegala happy hour prices.
I think people are getting desperate, so any bundle with non-rehashed games looks good to them.

The 3 games I'm interested in (Iron Sky, Garry's Incident, Port Royale 3) all have horrible reviews.

Not a bad bundle overall Garry's game looks aight, as does Dungeonbowl and Port Royale 3. I'll think about it, almost bought one of these games in the winter sale...so this looks a bit better.

Is Gary's Incident that bad? Looks… sort of interesting. At least it's not another puzzle platformer.
Day One is the game that TotalBiscuit got in that big bout with it's developers when they pulled his harsh review of it. I think it will be worth it just for the experience, you don't get many poopoo games of this quality.

You're also paying middle-tier prices though. So, anybody capable of having a realistic expectation should see it as a fair, solid offering. 10 games for $5.00. Sure, some games are more appealing than others. But at $0.50 a game, there aren't many places that offer a better value. At that price, even if only 2 out of the 10 games interest you, you could argue it STILL might be a good deal ($2.50 each).

As for repeats, everybody is singing that song these days. Humble's not even doing bundles with a 100% "not previously bundled" rate anymore. At this point, you just have to consider the "cost: games you're interested in" ratio. It's like people who complain about shipping costs on GoHastings.com. If it's still the cheapest place to buy it, who the hell cares how the total price is divided up?
