The Howard Stern Thread
My subscription has run out.. I'm still contemplating on whether or not to re-subscribe...
I was recently in a car accident that ended up mangling my satellite radio. It just so happen my subscription renewal came up shortly after said accident. I decided that since I have to dl the shows anyway (I don’t get reception at my desk anymore) and all I really listened to is Stern and occasionally Alt Nation, that I’d end my subscription. Well, its now nearly two months without Sirius in my car and I cant stand it .. and I’m only in my car about 25 minutes a day. Regular radio is simply unbearable. The music sucks and is repetitive and that’s if you’re lucky enough to hear anything but commercials. I swear I hit the seek button and I get 25 stations of commercials sometimes. And listening to cds is ok but it lacks the spontaneity and variety of a channel like Alt Nation. Besides, who wants to lug all those cds around. I got a 2008 Ford Focus with sync and an integrated satellite radio interface (its missing the “brain” though) and I’m thinking about getting Sirius installed and getting a lifetime subscription. It’s gonna be incredibly expensive but in the long run I think it’ll be worth it.

On an unrelated note, I’ve been playing Saints Row and I was shocked to be flipping through the radio stations in game and came across the voice of none other than Bubba the Love Sponge!

yeah when the game released they played it on the air in the studio...along with interviewing some people from the game...

i might go the download route.. for now.. we might be buying a new car soon.. but I have some big things I need to start saving for..so it will be some time before I consider re-subscribing...

Stern was back on today new.

It was a pretty good show.

I laughed at them cracking on the Amy Fisher porn tape and Dick Clark at the new years eve show.

Uhh .. they're not done with that yet? I wish they wouldnt give that group of jackasses attention (Fisher, Buttafucko, and David Creep).

Has anyone taken notice to all the guests talking about Tahiti Village lately? Is the Stern show in on advertising for them or something? Cause there's been a plethora of guests talking about it and every time Howard acts like he's never heard of it before and presses them for more info about it and how it works.

They hadnt actually seen or heard the tape but they knew about it and over the break someone gave howard a copy of it and he talked about how shitty it was.

Then they played a clip on the show and cracked on how bad it was and how the dialogue sucked. blah blah.

People have been taking screen shots of Eric the Midget on that webcam site he's beein on while trying to call in and I ran across this one and thought it was funny enough to pass along-
eu.gif

For the record, I saw the Amy Fisher home pr0n vid and I gotta say, with the volume on mute, its not "that bad".

She looks better than half the chicks Ive seen in some of the vids I have.

I dont know why but just hearing that tape makes me downright nauseaus(sp?).
lets see that pretty clit :puke:

And I heard them saying Eric's fingers were messed up but I didnt realize that they were that bad. No wonder he's so grumpy. He's all sorts of faulty.

I wanna examine that poosy
lol

Oh man, I have sincerely never laughed as hard at the show as I did this morning listening to the segment about Ronnie and his new girlfriend. Between the "I'm scoresman damnit!" drops and the Ronnie Dice Clay lines, I was in tears. My coworkers probably thought I was losing it.

"Just because your my date to John Hein's bar mitzvah, dont think your name is goin on my mud flaps .. OHHHH!"

"What you got here is a lottery ticket ... OHHHH!"

I spit coke out all on the dash of my work truck when I heard the High Pitch Eric call to the pharmacy about the twat cream and he says "it smells like horseshit and when I was playing with myself my cat caught a wiff and died"

It was funny on thurs show when Eric the Midget called in the 1st time to bitch at everyone etc etc. The more they f'd with him and he eventually starts yelling at them to stfu was pretty f'n hillarious.

ETM has his moments and lately he's been good. Some may think that Ralph is a douche and what not but you have to admit that when he's on with Eric, it's priceless.

I'm listening to the 1/10/07 show and thankfully Howard is seeing through Joey Buttafuco's bullshit and is calling him out on it. Now if he'd just do the same with Eric the Midget (and his "girlfriend) and every scheme Johnny Frato has the poor kid wrapped up in.

I doubt the girlfriend has much to do with it. Something tells me this is all about Johnny Frato. Maybe he owns her website or something.

I don't even download the show if marksfriggin doesn't list Eric the Midget as appearing on the show. I love that little asshole, and I love that Howard still answers his calls.

Yeah, the Eric The Midget calls are my favorite part of the show. It's amazing how much of an asshole he can be to the crew after all the great things they've done for him.

I still can't believe Eric admitted to humping his bed. Stern is a master interviewer for being able to extract that info out of him.

My assumption was correct. Eric’s “girlfriend” is all wrapped up with Johnny Frato. She’s apparently Johnny’s son’s girlfriend and she works for Johnny. And not only that, apparently when Eric is on the phone with Howard, Johnny (or someone associated with him) feeds Eric notes via im about mentioning jfsc.com. I’m really starting to hate that Johnny Frato guy. He’s nothing but a scumbag who’s out to use the show as a big marketing device for himself. He’s getting all the whack packers and regular callers on his payroll.

Tomorrow is a MUST listen to day. The way Artie made fun of the Cowboys losing to the Giants last monday was great so I cant wait to hear him tomorrow.

ETM the last week or two has been hilarious, but I still hate the little bastard. Artie making fun of the cowboys was hilarious I can't wait to hear what he says about the giants making it to the superbowl tomorrow.

On another note I just finised listening to last thursdays show and penn was actually a pretty funny guest. I never really cared for him on his show or anything but he turned out to be a pretty good guest.

Ill be damned...Off for MLK day. Never would have guessed it but lately Howard finds any reason to take a day off so I should have expected it.

Bubba's wife looks kind of ugly in those pics but in the other pic where bubba is dressed like an astronaut she looks decent.

I pretty much have a long list of callers that are horrible to listen too:
Hanzi, John Boy, ETM (most of the time he just gets on my nerves), Wolf or whatever his name is, Johnny Frato and Ass Napkin Ed.

I agree that this past week or two ETM has been hilarious but every other time he calls in he's just an annoying prick. I espeically love when ralph calls in to bust his balls.

I wonder why on that cam thing Eric seems to talk fairly normal but when he's on the phone with Stern he breaks single syllable words into two.

And my list of most annoying callers in order:

1. Bobo, John Boy, Joey Boots (TIE)
2. Marianne from Brooklyn, Jessica Hahn
3. King of all Japs, Lee/Lynn's Stalker
4. Hanzi
5. Capt Catfucker
6. Ass Napkin Ed

my top three things so far this year:

1 - Eric the Midget - I think one of the funniest parts is the evil music that plays behind him.. that is so funny
2 - Fred's imitation of Jason
3 - The show imitation of JD

I seriously laugh out loud at those things

Fred's Herman Munster impression of Chyna was also one of the things that just made me laugh like crazy...

Hmm, thats a tough one. So many great moments this year already. I cant even begin to think of them.

I will have to say speaking in general terms that either Fred really hit his stride with the sound effects last year or I just started noticing him. I think I've laughed due to Fred's sound effects (especially during the news) more than anything else combined. There are certain phrases or keywords that I hear where I just wait for the sound effect. Like for example, If Howard were to say something like, "Well Imus was crowing about his ratings being great". You just now your gonna hear the roaster/crow noises.

Also, who else absolutely loves hearing someone's voice from an interview/discussion being spliced into lines for a prank call? I think my favorite is Richard Simmons "I am your daughter Cheryl".

Holy shit..Tell me that the Mars Attacks alien sounds being played as the new Eric The Midget sound isnt f'n hillarious.

Eric the Midget going ballistic was hilarious... I have yet to see his ugly mug on the site.. but I bet it's hilarious..

Go back one page.

I posted a pic of him off his webcam from that site he's always calling in to pimp.

Am I the only one that thinks the amount artie said he won, 78,000.00 is WAY low from what he really won?

All 4 playoff games he bet the giants and let it ALL ride doubling all the way up.

78g's seems a bit low to me.

Did you guys hear "Stump the "Foot" (with Bigfoot)?

I was listening on my iPod while eating Mini-Oreos and browsing my local video store. When they were looking to find another game for Bigfoot to play (to win some extra cash), Artie came out of nowhere and said, "Will you eat a newspaper for $500?"

I literally spit out the oreos all over the video rack! Artie kills me!

The Syndicate is a SFN thing where they do prank calls and shit like that.

When Dipshit Fratto and crew started their "Johnny Fratto Social Club" on SFN, it was some of the best e-thug crews Ive ever laughed at.

It got to the point where if you didnt put in your sig that you were a member of the "social club", you werent allowed to post in the social club thread.
