Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

I'm really debating joining a group buy...the only game I want is Cities in Motion, since I own everything else and I bought Deponia on GOG. Wish there were less recycled games in this one.

Buying mine now :)

Edit:

Also, if I already sent you a confirmation PM earlier DO NOT PM ME AGAIN

I will send out PMs once I have the bundles from IG and averaged out the price per bundle.

I just need to cut out unnecessary PMs during this time.

So, when I go to the indiegala website, and choose "Access Your Profile", I am sent an email.

The email contains a URL for my profile, as well as gift URLs. Can the gift URLs be re-gifted to someone else, or are they all tied to my account?

Thanks.
I'd be down for a hh bundle if anyone is sponsoring. PM me.
HH? Sponsoring? We have the makings of a new support group for problem bundle buyers here. ;)

Thanks OP! In for Deponia, Home, and Cities in Motion. I have a free key for Trine; send me a PM if interested. Of course trades are also welcome. :p

Update: Painkiller and Magicka have already been claimed.

So, I got in on HH and am looking to get some friends into PC gaming. What would be easier, gifting the bundles to myself and just giving them the keys or gifting it straight to them? I ask because I'm new to Indie Gala and my friends are oblivious to Indie Gala/PC gaming/Steam/etc. in general.

Probably gifting them directly to your friends and just sending them a follow up email with possibly a link to Steam, instructions how to activate or DL the DRM free versions.

2 Days left on this one and still no unlock of the final bonus. I suspect it will be lame music, but they will also extend the bundle a little as they usually do.

So the obvious guess for the last unlock would be another Magicka dlc to go with the theme...this being Indiegala my true guess would be Painkiller Overdose.

Won't be Magicka DLC. They already stated that none of the unlocks will be Magicka DLC.

Considering that "Magicka: Vietnam" IS Magicka DLC, I'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit on that.

Already have both Victoria II and House Divided DLC, but it would have been a pretty sweet bonus. Between all the bundles, Paradox and 1C collections on Steam are getting formed. lol.

Tempted to get Starwolves II on Steam through the GalaStore bundle, but I am sure Groupees or someone else will get it at some point. Speaking of Groupees, aren't they due for a new bundle?

It's currently in this abomination.

It's actually a really great bundle, Real Warfare are amazing games. Vietnam is good too, and Death To Spies is old school Hitman.

It's not really worth it if you already have Death to Spies and Reign from another bundle though.

I will say that 1.5 years ago I would have been thinking that bundlestars thing was amazing, but with so many 1C games showing up in bundles and with the 1C pack on GG for 20 bucks last year, $6ish just seems so overpriced...lol

I think that it'd be OK for $6 if they hadn't gone and included those two recycled games.
Can the Bundle Stars stuff be split up?

I don't want anything except Off Road Drive. If it can be split, I might be able to recoup most of the cost.
The Dynamite bundle came with separate keys.

Question on buying this w/o HappyHour (which I read was around $7.18 for 2 copies for a first time buyer).. At the bottom of the page, it says:

Give 2 gifts for more than: $9.72
Give 3 gifts for more than: $13.89
Give 4 gifts for more than: $18.05
Give 5 gifts for more than: $20.83

Does that mean when I buy this as a gift (by checking the gift box) and paying 9.73, I can get 2 copies (I guess this would be the next best deal if HH doesn't come back)?

And do I need to buy an actual copy for myself first before I can gift Or can I just buy 2 copies this way?

I know buying it this way doesn't allow me the chance to upgrade it more (I'm already over BTA so I dont think I need to upgrade) or give me galapoints which I'm not too concerned with.

Thanks for anyone who can help answer my questions.

I threw a few bucks down mostly for magica and painkiller since i cant find my old disc for the latter

Question though.. did we not get a game in the last slot? Its still blank and only a couple hours left. I also wasn't very thrilled with the charities listed so i didn't donate as much as i do to the humbleindiebundle/childsplay

To answer your question, you are correct - best deals outside of happy hour are those gift packs and you don't need to buy it for yourself. You can just gift one of the gifts to your own email.

Of note:

Last game unlocked - Victoria II (nice game, but a lot of us have it from Amazon).

Bundle time extended another 5 days - so hopefully this is good news for the possibility of another happy hour since I have a group wanting me to host another pack.

Yeah, another happy hour is a possibility. They tweeted some things about more "surprises" and something happening on Saturday:

How much do they come to? The only games I don't have are Cities in Motion and Deponia so you can imagine $6.91 (current BTA) is sounding like a bad deal right about now.

if i already have Trine in my Steam library. Can I add Trine again (from this Indie Gala bundle) and will it appear in my 'gifts' catalogue?
