We appreciate you helping keep this thread up to date. The sales change virtually every day so no one person has the time to update them all. If you notice a game is no longer on sale, feel free to delete its line from the sale list. Of course, if you see a game is on sale, add it to the list. Make sure your changes match the thread's format! For example, every game that's on sale is part of an unordered list. When adding a game to the list, copy an existing line and update the link, title, and prices. That way, the format stays correct. Do not list percentages off! We list the original price and the sale price here. If you have any suggestions for major changes to the post/thread, PM me (EastX) about them.

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

Opposing Force CD-keys cannot be registered through Steam. Opposing Force was included in a retail Half-Life package. The Half-Life CD-key included in the package will unlock all of the games in that package, including Opposing Force.

Welp, probably going to get Quantum Conundrum now. Sub $5 just hits my sweet spot, even without the DLC. I can pick those up ultra-cheap later anyway! ... [or maybe not. Gamefly wants to call me and give me an authorization PIN... I can't hear. Alas.]

I also ordered a new graphics card, so even more of my games should run like butter now! I am so excited. It's like Christmas for me. I'll actually be able to play the copy of Borderlands 2 I pre-ordered!

You buy a game from another site and they give you a code that you put into the Steam client. You then have a copy in your library that acts the same as one you bought directly from Steam. That's where you download it, it gets auto-updates, etc.

I have the first DLC, Desmond Debacle. The puzzle rooms are large and complicated to get through, though the solution is not particularly hard to figure out. It also features no voice over at all, so it loses some of the personality from the main game.
 
Damn I want to get Quantum Conundrum for $3 but I can't use the coupon again because I used it a few days ago to buy Guild Wars 2 for 20% off booo!

I have no idea, but I got in at $2.79. There may be something posted somewhere that explains how to get the discount, but I personally don't know.

It didn't apply for me via the website(even though I was logged in) but it did apply within the desktop app. Try that if you haven't already.

It's showing up for me and I also own both. If you're looking on the website make sure you're signed in. I've definitely clicked on links for products with previous purchase discounts and wondered where mine was only to realize that my Steam login expired.

Brawe was removed sometime last night, but if you bought before they removed it you got the key.

For less than three bucks, I'll bite on the Basement Bundle.

The Kaptain Brawe removal from BeMine 4 is odd. Anyone have a link to an explanation? And are they putting something else in its place from here forward?

Wow, surely glad I already redeemed my Brawe key then.

As for the Basement Collection, McMillan's work has an...acquired taste to it. Super Meat Boy is probably his least eccentric work. Coil is far more disturbing than The Binding of Isaac, and I'm not sure about the rest. He likes to make games with taboo themes, like rape, incest, and abortion.
 
Thanks for mentioning Kaptain Brawe being in the BM4 bundle. I bought it the first day and never looked at it again til today and I had both Kaptain Brawe (steam key) + Battlemess (desura key). Also, I'm still completely undecided if I should add Revelations 2012 to my library or not. :roll:

Quantum Conundrum for $3 is really tempting. Think it'll be around that price for Steam's Winter/Holiday sale?

Well if it's -75% it will be at 3.75$ so get it now if you have the money. I don't think the base price will drop before next year.

Hear, hear. It's weird that paying less than the minimum gets you everything except the first tier of extras. Not that I'm complaining, but I don't want to pay $4 for Dwarfveses!?¿ plus 1 album and a comic I probably won't look at twice (I haven't been at all impressed with any comic or short film from an indie bundle).

I am currently struggling with that same issue - I believe I'll end up adding the game, since I found far too much amusement from the "10 Short Films" video.

My Steam card is making me feel lame because I have 0 hours for the past 2 weeks. Sorry Steam, I've been working on the PS3 backlog so I can spend more time with you in the future.
