We appreciate you helping keep this thread up to date. The sales change virtually every day so no one person has the time to update them all. If you notice a game is no longer on sale, feel free to delete its line from the sale list. Of course, if you see a game is on sale, add it to the list. Make sure your changes match the thread's format! For example, every game that's on sale is part of an unordered list. When adding a game to the list, copy an existing line and update the link, title, and prices. That way, the format stays correct. Do not list percentages off! We list the original price and the sale price here. If you have any suggestions for major changes to the post/thread, PM me (EastX) about them.

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

Dungeon Defenders has a good player base. I have never really had any trouble finding a game. I picked it up for cheap last December during the winter sales. I think I paid like 4 bucks for the base game and have since bought all of the dlc. The game and all of the dlc is worth every penny that I paid for it. In my opinion the game and all of the dlc is worth it even at full price. It is probably my best purchase ever because I have had so much fun with it. Just to give you an idea of how much fun I have had with this game steam says that my total playtime is 249.4 hours as of writing this. I would absolutely give the online a shot because if you thought it was neat offline you will probably have a blast online. I simply can't recommend this game enough. Just thought I would throw in my two cents on the subject.

I agree. This is my most played game on steam. I got this from amazon for 3 bux and also own all the dlc. Game does have a great community and is alot more fun online than solo.

HAWKEN is a highly anticipated Indie game.
It's a Multiplayer mech-combat game.
 
Counterpoint: I bought Dungeon Defenders and tried to get into it on at least three separate occasions (picking up more DLC along the way) and it never really clicked for me. Playing solo was fairly boring, and the online community is so experienced that it felt they were dragging me through instead of us working together as a team to figure out and beat the levels.
 
Has anyone played (or played through) DEPONIA?

im contemplating it for 10, but something tells me it will drop even more during the next Holiday sale.

Deponia 2 is out on Nov 6 on GOG. I assume it will come to Steam at the same time or shortly after. There may be a good price on the two of them together in the winter sale.

Would have bought the new IR bundle but I am going to get the Sam & Max Complete pack this holiday (should go on sale for $12.75 as it has multiple times before) so it is a waste to pay that much for Home and the other Steam game
 
Not having The Devil's Playhouse, I flipped out seeing the new Indie Royale and bought it immediately.

I'm surprised there isn't more excitement concerning it.

The Sam an max complete pack has been on sale on steam a ton. I bought it. I think I'm not alone which is why the excitement may be limited.

I beat the first two seasons a long time ago, and have been waiting for Devil's Playhouse to drop to cheap, but it doesn't really go below $10. So I'm pretty happy.

Home and Macguffin's curse are nice additions, as well.

Have Home installed but have yet to play it. Fell back into the backlog when I got Skyrim cheap. Wishing I'd waited, now. MacGuffin's was on my wishlist, and with the price down to close to $4 right now, I went in. (Have all of the Sam n Max series directly through TellTale, loved them. Will probably pass on the Steam key to someone else.)

Solid bundle, IMO.
 
Vice City is so dang fun! I discovered the custom radio station today and am loving blasting through town with a period-correct punk soundtrack. Tommy gets out of prison in 86. It's pretty simple list so far, but listen to this gem (from 1979).

I don't think anyone is talking about it because besides Batman AC GOTY and IL-2 all the other games have been a fair bit cheaper then $7.50. Darksiders had a 10k giveaway when DS2 came out and has been on sale numerous times for $5 and $4 a few times as well. The Darkness 2 was on sale today for $5 from Amazon and has hit $6 a few other times now. Metro, always goes on sale for $5 and could even snag it once for $4 and Serious Sam HD I can't even remember how often it has went on sale for like $3.75 or bundled for under $5 with the First Encounter HD as well.

Not trying to rain on the parade, I know a lot of others don't follow or simply remember prices after awhile (why I do I have no idea lol).

I was going to post the same. Metro was also in an Amazon THQ pack and I sold my extra from it for $3.50. Batman non GOTY was in a recent Amazon bundle too. So the deal is not super hot, but good for those looking to play these right away.
 
Finally got some free time to start AI War: Fleet Command.
"Failed to contact key server"

I have never had this happen before. According to the steam forums it's been two days already and still no keys.
