We appreciate you helping keep this thread up to date. The sales change virtually every day so no one person has the time to update them all. If you notice a game is no longer on sale, feel free to delete its line from the sale list. Of course, if you see a game is on sale, add it to the list. Make sure your changes match the thread's format! For example, every game that's on sale is part of an unordered list. When adding a game to the list, copy an existing line and update the link, title, and prices. That way, the format stays correct. Do not list percentages off! We list the original price and the sale price here. If you have any suggestions for major changes to the post/thread, PM me (EastX) about them.

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

Man, it was like 11:59 as I was checking out, got to 12AM and the deal literally died as I was putting my credit info. changed from $4.99 to $14.99 right in front of my eyes. smfh
 
Yes, another sale! Although, actually, I probably won't be buying much this time around. I may finally get orcs must die 1 and 2, even though the first one is in my 360 backlog right now. The only game I'm definitely getting is Vampire Masquerade, since I've heard really good things about it on here, and it hardly ever goes on sale. Possibly Scratches and Penumbra also, I almost bought these during the summer sale.
 
What a bellyful of offers... got Amnesia, Penumbra Collection, Plants vs. Zombies GOTY (bought for almost every system I own, but on PC I had only an... a-ehm... "free" version previously, so it was time to amend), The Cthulhu Saves the World/Breath of Death VII bundle (I already own Cthulhu, and was saddened by the fact that I didn't get an extra copy...) and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines... Halloween, here I come!

15$ was just too much for me right now, but I did pick up a few other things on the Steam sale and I was just gonna wait and hope this dropped lower at some point, but I couldn't pass it up at this price.

Yeah....put in a Steam Support ticket.

Found my Steam Transaction History (they hid it pretty well), and saw I actually tried 3 times. I then remembered the third time, I tried inputting my old address into the billing info (which is what I actually registered the account under), and was still denied. Checked my card's balance, and I think that third time was denied only because I was now UNDER the amount needed for the purchase, even though the error was the same.

So yeah....hopefully it will get sorted out. Still pisses me off that they still double charged me.

you can only use blue coins if it covers the entire balance i believe...they dont just knock the price down

You have to have the full amount of the order in blue coins to be able to use them. Best thing you can do is buy $7 in blue coins. That will enable you to use blue coins for your order.

I miss CAG, man. I've been so insanely busy the last couple of months so I've barely had time to hang out here, let alone play my games.

I would be tempted by The Walking Dead if I didn't still have Borderlands 2 to play. I played the first 1.5 episodes on PS3 when I got it free thru PS+ and I really liked it so far. I can definitely wait until I'm ready to play it though. Maybe by then all the episodes will be out :p

Other than that I'm surprised by how NOT tempted I am by the Halloween sale offerings. I probably just have too many games, lol
 
For those that have Divinity 2:Dragon Knight Saga you should see Divinity 2: Director's Cut in your library now. I just noticed I had it. It sounds like it's the same game as Dragon Knight Saga but with this extra developer mode. It doesn't sound like they've made any improvements to the core game/graphics so I'll leave the other one installed. Should I do otherwise or is there something I may not know?

Thanks for the head's up. I was able to get this deal using my phone before work. I was going to wait for 75% off...but this is close enough and much sooner than it will take for this excellent game to hit 75% off on Steam (I'm playing on 360 but I'm double-dipping because it's so good)

*sigh* I just finished my month of IGN prime and they never did respond to my two support tickets regarding the broken Gamers Gate discount key page.

I'd like to know this too. This is my first Halloween Sale on Steam (enjoyed the Summer Sale though). I know in the Summer the deals were changing everyday. Is it the same for Halloween Sales of the past? Or will the prices now remain through Halloween? I have a cart full of games...but I was going to wait to pull the trigger until I get to Best Buy to buy Steam Wallet cards (3x Reward Zone points for me. :whistle2:D). If the deals will change at 10am pacific then I'm not going to wait and risk missing some of these.
 
Bah, missed the Walking Dead deep discount. Of course, I'm about 5% in with six different games at the moment so... yeah. Time to set aside my irrational hording impulses :)

I haven't even gamed much this past week or so. Bought a new video card and that got me to looking at overclocking my CPU which got me into seriously planning my case layout and airflow which got me into doing some sort of cable management beyond "cables everywhere!" which got me spending my gaming money on fans and molex extension cables and whatever else. At least my backlog should play real pretty once I'm done.
 
Damn, been checking on all the Walking Dead deals and debating my options, go to sleep and the game drops to $7 and then back up to $15 when I wasn't looking! Would have loved to grab it for that price.

Finally...been waiting on this and magicka to go on sale forever and now they are on sale the same day. Only thing better would be if hydrophobia went on sale tomorrow.

I know! The least they could do is have a sale on Nexuiz or Cubemen. Those never go on sale. I guess Magicka and Killing Floor are finally on sale, at least. Pretty pumped to finally get those.

Besides that, picking up Prototype. Played it a bit on xbox and it was enjoyable (albeit repetitive). Any recommendations for other games (should I bother with FEAR 1/2 if I already have 3)?

In regards to Dead Rising. Capcom doesn't seem to drop it's prices that often. I think this might be the cheapest it's been on sale. (though feel free to correct me).
 
Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten is now on Steam and 33% off ($9.99) until November 6th.

Defender's Quest is a Tower-Defense/RPG Hybrid (Think Final Fantasy Tactics meets Tower Defense). Defender's Quest tightly focuses on three things: tactical depth, customization, and story. That means no random encounters, no spikey-haired emo kids, no forced time sinks, and no tedious, repetitive battles.

This is correct; it took 3 years to get it to $7.50. It'll take another 3 to get it to $5. I'm still waiting for Lost Planet 2 to get something above 50%.

I got a coupon code this morning from Logitech's Outlet store. It's good for an extra 15% off these dented box products. Looks like free shipping too. The very nice G110 keyboard works out to $38. It says it's a unique code so maybe it's only usable once, I dunno. Anyway, maybe someone can use it since I have no need: 9eozpvxpe

Wow, I didn't realize Capcom was that stingy with their sales. Guess I"m sticking with Prototype and Dead Rising 2 for this sale.

If you want/need to wait, you can. They'll very likely be these prices during the Xmas sale, but not cheaper than this. As others have pointed out, Capcom doesn't really do cheap.
