We appreciate you helping keep this thread up to date. The sales change virtually every day so no one person has the time to update them all. If you notice a game is no longer on sale, feel free to delete its line from the sale list. Of course, if you see a game is on sale, add it to the list. Make sure your changes match the thread's format! For example, every game that's on sale is part of an unordered list. When adding a game to the list, copy an existing line and update the link, title, and prices. That way, the format stays correct. Do not list percentages off! We list the original price and the sale price here. If you have any suggestions for major changes to the post/thread, PM me (EastX) about them.

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

Personally, I saw quite a bit of merit in the original Prototype, though there are were some design decisions that weren't so great towards the end of the game. (Not to mention a less-than-likeable cast of characters.) Nevertheless, it was entertaining, and some elements, arguably, rival inFAMOUS. However, in the end, it had some pretty glaring flaws, and, sadly, I didn't get word that Prototype 2 attempted to improve and refine what the original established. Thus, I ended up passing on the sequel.

If any CAG has more detail about Prototype 2, I'd be interested to hear how the sequel truly compares to the original.
 
I decided to grab Prototype 2. It was $10.

I think I am gonna start Walking Dead now. I just finished the first compendium and oh boy I wanna play this now (waiting to see on a BF deal for the 2nd compendium somewhere). Plus EP5 will drop soon enough. Although I must say, after watching one episode of the TV series, yeah I am not bothering with that.

I played through the game last year or so and enjoyed it. It's a nice twist on the match 3 genre and it has a bit of seek-and-find to boot. I definitely got my money's worth with the game.

I've played and beaten 1 and am over halfway through 2. So far I like 1's story better but I think 2's gameplay is better.

The main character that you play in Prototype 1, he (Alex Mercer) is an important NPC character in P2.

Granted, I'm still playing P2 here...but I think P2 seems to have more going on w/ both the story AND the gameplay.
In P2, the constant barrage of side-quests, collectibles, and the RadNet DLC (stat-tracking) seem to really have made the game even better.

Revelations got a huge ass update some days ago. Its still a bad game, but it is vastly improved. I may even call it "decent" now.

Maybe it'll be playable now? It looks promising enough that I'd be willing to spend a couple bucks on it, so hopefully it'll be cheaper by winter sale.
