We appreciate you helping keep this thread up to date. The sales change virtually every day so no one person has the time to update them all. If you notice a game is no longer on sale, feel free to delete its line from the sale list. Of course, if you see a game is on sale, add it to the list. Make sure your changes match the thread's format! For example, every game that's on sale is part of an unordered list. When adding a game to the list, copy an existing line and update the link, title, and prices. That way, the format stays correct. Do not list percentages off! We list the original price and the sale price here. If you have any suggestions for major changes to the post/thread, PM me (EastX) about them.

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

No L track racing yet (although an L train goes by every twenty seconds no matter where you are in the city, it seems) and I've only heard mention of Lower Wacker. I'm not saying I condone any of that, was just saying that I just sort of laugh it off and ignore it. But the black & white police cruisers were the thing that got to me.

Yeah, but, let's be honest, nobody wants to actually see what the majority of downtown Detroit really looks like. It's become heartbreaking enough for the people that live in the area.

Anyone think Arma II will go lower anytime soon? If I'm only in it for DayZ, will it really be cheaper than $14.99 to wait for the standalone?

If you like side scrollers, mobos, and 80s cartoons i would pick it up. Its a blast to play (multiplayer only) especially if you have friends to play with. As others have said you can get dropped into some lopsided games but its worth it.
 
Fake edit: When it first came out there was no single player/AI -- just some scripted tutorial-like levels. Looks like that might have changed but I don't know for sure.

Okay that makes sense. The page says "Single Player" so that's why I was a little confused when you guys were saying it was multiplayer only.

Of course they could be considering bots as single player I guess. Not sure.
 
A little off topic, but if anyone wants still wants to buy the current Humble Bundle (Humble Bundle for Android 4) there's only about 20 minutes left. It's PWYW for 5 games, or beat the average of $6.70 for 11. All games are cross-platform and although it's geared towards Android, the games can be played on PC.

I guess they wanted to make it easier for players to recognize them as "police" cars. Maybe we should be happy they at least got the checkerboard hats.
 
Does the last day have a "last chance" repeat of some othe daily deals like summer and winter? I missed KOTOR 2 cause I didn't know it was a flash deal and thought it would hold all weekend. Not that $5 is a bad price either though.

The pictures were from a few years ago and the good news is at least some of those buildings are getting renovated/repurposed.

Might pop up as a daily too. That happened in the Summer sale; flash sales that people missed ended up just coming up as a daily later on.

Does anyone think dark souls PTDE will go on sale for lower than $14.99? I know amazon will have it on sale tomorrow for that price, just hoping steam may have it cheaper, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

The steam client needs a new search feature. I want "Recently Bought" because if I don't install it right after... I end up completely forgetting about it.

You can go to your Account > Account Details page and look at both your licenses and store transactions. They're listed chronologically, but only the store transactions are dated.

Yes, always wait til the last day of the sale to see if something might get discounted more. If it doesn't, buy it if you can't wait for the next sale.

Can anyone answer whether you can have both Doom 3 and the BFG edition in your library at the same time, as in does the BFG edition replace the regular library entry in Steam? I want to still be able to mod it (theif mod especially) but you lose that ability with the BFG edition. So I'm asking if buying the BFG edition will screw me out of a vanilla copy that I can use mods with.
