Dear WWE Name Generator,

Take a look at who your company holds up as legends and, I don't know, maybe adjust your naming accordingly. I mean, which of these things is not like the others? The Undertaker, Kane, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, HHH, Hulk Hogan, Jake 'the Snake' Roberts, Macho Man Randy Savage, Adrian Neville.

Thank you,
The Obvious
I agree that the WWE name generator has got to go. Try to give a guy a name based on who he is, not just random pulled out of the hat name. I will say that Adrian Neville is still not as bad as PAC. So it is not all bad.

See the previous post.
You're an idiot.
You need to calm the hell down and think about whether or not I could have said that sarcastically.
Hint: That was 100% sarcasm when I said that.

Watched the Aries vs. Hardy ladder match...

DANG! Very, VERY creative ladder spots.

Until the last year or two, I would have said TNA had the worst re-branding process. Today? Nope. WWE takes the cake. "Austin Starr" sounds like money when thrown into a comparison with "Adrian Neville" and— Lemme take a look at the FCW roster— "Seth Rollins," "Corey Graves," and "Kassius Ohno."

Totally forgot about "Kassius Ohno." That is perhaps their worst rebranding to date. Might as well rename Chris Hero to "Dickfukk McGuillicunty."

"Seth Rollins" has grown on me. Thankfully, "Dolph Ziggler" has risen above the bullshit.

It's like they've given up on the more outlandish, usually cool names, and just decided to give people cheesy porn star names.

I watched it earlier today and I concur. Incredibly well done ladder match.

BTW, I'm really enjoying Todd Kenely on the announce team. He's clearly not new to this and is doing really well IMO.

I like him a hell of alot better than Taz. Hopefully they will do away with him and make it Tenay/Kenely full time soon.

Yes. TNA's announcing has improved tenfold.

Haha man do I miss Alex Wright. Him and Norman Smiley made me a dancin' fool when I was a kid watching WCW.

I honestly believe they could have pushed Alex Wright to the stars...

WCW's main event scene was bloated, so it would have never happened, but they could have at least hoisted him up to the U.S. Championship scene. He was a very natural heel.

I feel the true unsung star of this gif, and of all things WcW was the Head of Security, Doug Dillinger. What ever happened to that guy? Lord knows TNA could have used him when Aces & 8's kept getting into the building somehow.....

You could play as Doug Dillinger in WCW Mayhem, or Backstage Assault... or both.

Is it worth suffering through either of those games to do so?

Finally unlocked everything on WWE 13 this morning. GOD I am so sick of hearing Otunga's theme during the title screen. I have to mute my tv now because it gives me a headache. Whatever happened to pressing select to skip to the next song like in previous games?

Mayhem wasn't too bad and was certainly better than Nitro and Thunder. My second favorite WCW game on the PS1 next to WCW vs the World.

From pwinsider:

It appears Matt Hardy nailed his head when he was shoved off the top to the floor by Luke Hawx during the main event of the Extreme Rising iPPV. According to several readers who were ringside, Hardy got sick after hitting the floor and appeared to be going into convulsions. It could be a concussion but obviously that's not confirmed.

He did sit up before the PPV went off the air but medical staff asked him to lay back down. Am ambulance was called to the building and Hardy will be taken to a local hospital to get checked out. As of this writing, he is still on the floor at ringside. The promotion asked the crowd to clear out as soon as the event went off the air.

It's believed Hardy may have also injured his ribs, but I'm not 100% sure on that. The run-ins during the main event between Hardy and Douglas were all scheduled, not a last second reaction to his injury.

We'll post a further update when we hear but hopefully everything turns out OK.

Update: EMTs are on hand but as of 11:26 PM, Hardy still had not been moved.

Update 2: Hardy finally returned to the locker room under his own power after being checked out by EMTs. The belief is he suffered a concussion. Obviously, we wish him well.

WCW Mayhem and Backstage Assault are straight-up poopy.

Backstage Assault is the worst of the two - Almost mind-bogglingly so.

Those shirts look like hot garbage.
Awesome Kong passed away. Not much known as far as details.

The WCW guy, not Kharma.
Talk about burying the lead. I don't know who WCW AK is. I looked him up and I still don't know who he is. I thought Awesome (Amazing) Kong had died.
Mayhem wasn't too bad and was certainly better than Nitro and Thunder. My second favorite WCW game on the PS1 next to WCW vs the World.
Yeah but Mayhem, Nitro and Thunder were all from a different series of games.

WCW vs the World was an AKI wrestling game (it's the only one in America for PS1). WCW vs now, WrestleMania 2000, No Mercy (N64) were also AKI games.

It's amazing that AKI isn't being paid to do these games anymore. They were like the best wrestling games around and some of the highest selling N64 games.

Right. Other than the N64 games and WCW vs. The World, there were no good WCW games. Even at the time, Nitro, Thunder, Mayhem et al. were dreadful beyond measure.

Bonus 5 on 5 elimination match to start things off - Brodus Clay, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio vs Tensai, Primo, Epico, Darren Young, and Titus O'Neill.

This PPV sucks so much dick. It would be horrible if it was just one of the monthly shows, but it's especially bad for one of the "big four" events.

Putting Ziggler over Orton helps a little, though.
