The Yes We CAG Movement - Now to win the Presidency!

Im Voting for clinton

GEORGE CLINTON!!
I like Obama a lot, I just don't think he should be president. Hell, I like him more than Hilary, but Obama doesn't have a universal health care plan.

Remember what happened when people voted on likability in 2000?
Yes, because Universal Healthcare is the be all, end all this election. But hey, having fun paying for Tina Crackwhore's herpes meds!

wow whats up with the retarded Obama circle jerk? Dude was a lame duck senator and would be a lame duck president. He's a standard Chicago politician, where everyone is corrupt. And two people that I wish people would research when it comes to Obama is Tony Rezko and Tom Hoffman. Plus he's a member of East Bank Club (look up the member list on that)

There is a reason why no one liked him in Illinois

Actually they did like him and they still do. Oh yeah, and GTFO of this thread if you don't like Obama. We are just having fun here.

The "Yes We CAG" movement started in a small car garage in the middle east about two weeks ago, with the US Marines laying in the prone position yelling "Yes We CAG." It's true, I was there.

While I wasn't there for that EXACT moment of enlightenment, I have, too, been part of these rallies in the MIDDLE EAST, RUSSIA, and other war-torn (and suspiciously symmetrical) cities with fellow CAGS. ...and I must say,...it's a beautiful thing.

*cries*

I was there, and as we fended off the enemy for many a hour, huddled down in that filthy ass garage. "Yes We CAG" rang throughout the desolate, war-torn town as we held our position, and tasted victory.

Between prescient political insight like this and your cheerleading in another thread, I'd just like to throw out that you're welcome in the vs forum if you have something to say, and not just to be a substanceless twat.

Ah, yes I remember that. We placed Claymores all around our position, and managed to defeat the enemy. And when the enemy arrived I started to yell, "Yes we can!" Then everyone joined in with, "Yes we can!" and "Yes we CAG!"
Wow, even the KKK supports Obama. Go Obama

That's all sorts of fucking hilarious. Unless of course they are pulling the classic South Park move of "supporting the one we want to lose since everyone hates us".

That's his "I'm going to fucking kill you, McCain, you worthless sack of shit" expression.

"DO YOU SEE THIS, MCCAIN? THESE ARE MY CRUSHING FINGERS.

I USED THESE TO DESTROY HILLARY TONIGHT.

DO YOU SEE THESE fuckING FINGERS, MR. STRAIGHT-TALK EXPRESS? MOTHERfuckER YOU'VE BEEN DERAILED. BITCHES THINKIN' YOU ALL STRAIGHT-UP WHEN YOU SUPPORT BUSH'S TAX CUTS fuck YOU. BITCH.

Here's where the KKK/Obama article comes from - a British tabloid/satire paper that thinks "humour" is to write an article about Lilly Allen and posting a picture of Lady Sovereign, and referring to Tom Cruise as a "scatologist." And here I thought the British had excellent humor.

I do think it's funny that the Brits are savvy enough to place the above article in "Kentucky - USA." Way to represent us 'billies.
This is almost as bad as the Nintendo fanboys....anyone know who Reggie supports for President?
Yoshi!

I like how she has some meat on her, she is not too super-skinny. Not too many super-hot chicks display their political side so openly, like they consider it un-cool or something. It's a shame really.

I hang around because I realize that a huge paradigm shift is on the way.

People don't realize that this change is planned and orchestrated. When the Dems win the 08 election, the establishment media will tell you, "You see??? YOU DID IT!!! There still is democracy in the US. The people have spoken. Pat yourselves on the back for a job well done... go back to sleep now...the Dems will handle it from here."

You see, fascism, socialism, communism, or whatever you want to call it, comes in many different flavors. This particular brand, like all forms of fascism, is being sold to you as good thing, and instills a fear of being unpatriotic, hateful, or unsecured if you don't support it.

It's like watching cattle get led to the slaughter. You can either run as fast as you can to the slaughter house (Clinton/Obama) or you can be prodded to it (McCain)

It'll be fun to see you guys after the 08 election saying "WE WON, WE WON! Ding-dong, the witch is dead!"

When in fact, you ain't won shit.... and the witch ain't dead.

I disagree, Obama has made it very clear in many of his speeches and debates that this won't be a one man show once the elections are over. It's going to take the hard work and dedication of everyone to bring this country back up to speed.

That's right. Obama has said that this election is not about him, but instead, the American people. We are change. We can make the country a better place.

What does that mean? In all likelihood, once he's elected everyone will return to minding their own business until they wake up to go back to the polls again in four years.
I plan on voting for him, but I'm very skeptical about what change if any can be brought about in our political system once his honeymoon with America is over.
Doesn't Hilary support affirmative action? If so, why didn't she give Obama a free 5% lead from the get-go?

Perhaps because she understands Affirmative Action, while you don't?

I'm sure everyone who interacts with you goes through this at one point or another... but I'm still trying to figure out if you're serious, or just banging out the most laughable viewpoint you can think up on your lunch break. :I

I mean, shit, if I could come up with material like that, I'd have it stored on a little legal pad under my cubicle's "OUT" box! Comedy gold you could break out at any party!

Just because you obviously (more likely intentionally) missed/ignored the wink smiley at the end of my post, you get to put up with this one.

affirmative action
–noun Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1)
the encouragement of increased representation of women and minority-group members, esp. in employment.
affirmative action
American Heritage Dictionary - A policy or a program that seeks to redress past discrimination through active measures to ensure equal opportunity, as in education and employment.
affirmative action
noun - WordNet
a policy designed to redress past discrimination against women and minority groups through measures to improve their economic and educational opportunities; "affirmative action has been extremely controversial and was challenged in 1978 in the Bakke decision"
affirmative action
American Heritage New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy, Third Edition

A term referring to various government policies that aim to increase the proportion of African-Americans, women, and other minorities in jobs and educational institutions historically dominated by white men. The policies usually require employers and institutions to set goals for hiring or admitting minorities.

All of those fit nicely into the context of my joke. But I'm sure I have a history lesson from the more modern politically correct edumecation you want to share.....
That is awesome.

If a better place means higher taxes/bigger government, no thanks.

If "hope" means hoping for more government oversight instead of getting government out of the way, no thanks

If "Change" means changing policies to more socialized, forced fairness, wealth redistribution policies, no thanks.

But if anyone can show me that he is against all the above, I just might vote for him.

Having a dictionary definition is well and good - but as a policy, AA is a retroactive policy that permits people (including the government itself) to sue employers when clear evidence is demonstrated that a person was not selected due to their race.

Which means, of course, it's an ultimately toothless policy, since it's rarely clear that it was race that mattered, and people aren't as fast as you would think to believe that their race got in the way of their job.

It's why the government performs audit studies on rentals/realtors in the housing market - because that very clearly isolates the presence or absence of prejudice.

But you go on and be bitter and uneducated. It's a free country, after all.

Damn myke, who shit in your cheerios this morning?

Thrustbucket's allusion to AA made enough sense that it's not necessary to semantically nitpick the finer points of maintaining an employment discrimination action in front of the EEOC...unless of course one is just looking to be a dick and argue for argument's sake. FWIW there are a lot more innaccuracies in your represenation of AA than there were thustbucket's joke, if one is looking to be a dick and argue for arguments sake of course.
