Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

Hey Kay or Prim any word on a possible % off clearance coming soon? Seems like they were doing one almost every week for a while there.

Most of those new markdowns with 30-40% off look pretty decent.

How is TRU about price matching the new clearance price? I got a few of these games in the last month, at a higher price than now.

Don't know honestly. The last few were unadvertised and I didn't even know about them until the day they actually started.

To ad on what Prim said

In the system you can only see the signs for the unadvertised sales about 3 days in advance. Tomorrow is some gift card xbox ad, didn't read it fully though.

In the handheld scanner it's hit or miss. The unadvertised sale showed the day before in the scanner for Zhu Zhu pets, while the My Little Pony didn't show until the ad turned on.

I'm hoping that another sale for 30% off clearance games starts soon:D

No problem. I got excited when I saw Animal Crossing for DS on the list, but then I remembered (1) I haven't seen Animal Crossing DS in a TRU for months and (2) Animal Crossing Wii has been on clearance for a slightly higher price, which this new lower price would justify.
 
Supposing I can even find it at my TRU, is that a good price on :ps3: Rock Band 2, or has anyone seen it cheaper? Very tempted to go hunting for $10, but if it was less somewhere, it would push me over the edge :whistle2:s

I picked up Rock Band 1 when Circuity City went under, but dont think I had even played it till this week with the FD deals on track packs. Always just kinda stuck with Guitar Hero, and getting sidetracked by COD and other games :)

I don't think I've ever seen it cheaper than that, $14.98 at Target is the cheapest I can remember. You can export the songs from RB1 and not ever have to use that disc again unless of course you want to play the 2 or 3 songs that aren't available to export.

Just go up the baby register desk and ask for a register form and scan gun. Show them the coupon then go zap/scan some baby items. Come back to the desk and hand the gun back and ask for the GC.
 
I found 3 copies of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune greatest hits version in the $6 bin. Also saw :ps3:The Godfather II and a bunch of old sports games.
 
I hope they still have the World Tour bundle for 40$ on Friday when I go. That's actually a great deal if you just want to get the instruments for a cheap price.

I can confirm that the old blister pack of 12 + 1 Bonus month of xbox live gold is $23.99. The $10 GC w/ $75 purchase will work with this item. We bought 3 of them plus the bear and got a $10 GC!

Also of note but not clearance. We bought two copies of COD BO with the Tshirts and used the same $10 GC w/ $75 purchase coupon. Even though it states that Video Games are exclude it still works if your cashier scans the Tshirt. If the cashier does not scan the shirt then the TRU system will not take the coupon. We got both the $50 GC and the extra $10 GC. Just a heads up, hope that may help some one.

I'm well within the return period for the cards I bought at $39.99, but the price adjustment period, that's 7 days? Not listed in the OP, can't find on the TRU website, and my receipt is at home.
 
FYI, I did take my recently purchased games back and they did a price adjust with no problem. That's probably an OP item that I missed (sorry!) but figured I would mention it as I wondered if I would have to do a return/rebuy or what exactly.

It was either 7 or 14 days, I think. I bought the cards 11 days ago.

EDIT: The coupon, was it attached to the Big Book or another TRU mailing?

At any rate, I now have 7 years, 7 months of XBL Gold for which I paid $167.93. Did it for friends/family, these aren't going to eBay. I was saving my friends/family a drive out to the TRU in the shady part of town.

They're the same game, if you just want one, pick the design you like better.
 
Just grabbed two Gold cards from the Little Rock, AR store. They'd been completely wiped out before I got there (the 10+ that I saw on the rack a few weeks ago had been snatched up), but a girl checked in the back for me and found three stragglers. :lol: There's one left if anyone's in the area and wants to grab it.

Yes. They're the red case greatest hits version. How do I know? I bought up the four the other TRU store by me had earlier today. They were clearly marked with $6.00 stickers on the back of the case by the barcode.

I'm keeping one for myself and probably putting the other three up on my TL.
 
Can someone please tell me if Soul Caliber IV (PS3) is on clearance and if The Saboteur (PS3) has gone down more? I got back from TRU today and got Wolfenstein for $15 and Prototype for $10 (both PS3) and the line to ask for the games and pay was crazy:bomb: and didn't want to do it again just to ask if SCIV and Saboteur went down more than what the sticker said. I didn't see them at first since they were all the way to the side and back of the locked cabinet and now I want to know if I should do a trip back to TRU for them....
 
I saw the placard for Saboteur on the shelf next to where I picked up Uncharted from, but I didn't see any copies on the shelf or in the big case up front either.

And dammit, I forgot to check for Prototype.:bomb:

Which cards are on clearance/sale? I saw two different ones tonight, but the ones I checked rang up at $49.99. If someone can post an image, that would be very useful ;)

If I remember correctly I got a few Sabotuer (360) for basically free with the Halo coupon, so pretty sure they were cleared.

The "official" policy is 14 days. Although I have no idea where it is to be found. I remember reading the email about it one day.

Most stores though will vary. I usually follow the return policy guidelines 45/90 days. My store doesn't really care too much as long as the receipt scans at the register.

Got the World Tour Bundle today for 360... It was $40 and got a $20 gift card so it was basically only $20 since we shop there all the time anyway for our 9m old.

Not sure what the gift card was for. When I scanned in the game myself it came up as being $20.
