Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

Well yeah, who doesn't...but unfortunately Capcom only brought Dead Rising 1 out on X360...and the horribly inferior version on Wii. Thus that collection is a 360 exclusive.

That triple pack is one of the best kept secrets on the 360 -- I picked it up and it's great -- it also helps that these packs include the newly designed PH cases that are SO much better than the ugly PH designs from before that shrunk the case design to one corner of the front.
 
I found the Classic Rock Track Pack for $3.00 at one of my local stores today, finally. Grabbed the last copy. Checked the metal pack, it rang up $14.98, and the track pack volume 2 rang up, I think, $18.98. Strange that the oldest one has the highest price still. But thanks to this thread for the heads-up on the $3 Classic Rock pack.
 
Email today says you get a free game $59.99 and under with any Rockband/Guitar Hero bundle. Anyone tried using an old bundle for this? Are there any cheap bundles out there for this to work with?
 
So any word on the % off clearance extending again? Don't they just keep changing it a little and extending it...I mean hasn't it been going on in some capacity for well over a month now?
 
I really need to keep an eye open for the Rock Band Classic Pack for the 360. Haven't seen it in the dump bins recently, but really want to add those songs to my RB3 library.

It says ANY on the sign I put up. Their are no clearance drops today just MSRP.

Yeah it seems like TRU has just been pumping out game deals for a few months now. Clearance %, b2g1, b1g1 etc etc. So Im almost expecting a new % off clearance this week.

Yeah, TRU hadn't had any good clearance deals in a while but recently they are the best with the recent drops and % off deals on top of that. KMart clearance is basically dead (I couldn't care less about $19.99 clearance games) and Sears is not far behind with hardly anything left under $10 at most stores.
 
Big ups to HandgunSushi for picking up the Classic Rock Pack. He's still in training and can't get the trade rep yet, but figured I would at least mention it here.

Just wanted to let you know there are clearance games scheduled to be activated on Monday morning. I tried to print the list but the printer at my station kept cutting the prices off, and I couldn't change the margins.

Will try again today.
 
Saw copies of PS3 Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 for $6. The 08 versions were also $6. Surprisingly, the 360 versions of the Tour 10 rang up as 24.98. Bought two of the PS3 Tour 10 for combined $9.xx and flipped to GS with other games.

Can't change margins. You have to change the size of the document before making the pdf to print.

Saw a bunch of blisterpack 12+1mo XBL Gold cards last time I was at TRU, prior to XBL price increase. They rang up at $39.99. Haven't been able to make it back to see if they were clearanced (like the 4000MSP blisterpacked cards I missed). Any news? Product number was 882224058650.

Yeah, I get them too also, they are too many! you could go into settings in TRU website and uncheck things but then you might miss a coupon or special, I might uncheck things after BF...

All of my local GS are stern about never accepting multiples. I'm assuming it wouldn't work to try to trade in the second copy on another day since the employee would have a record of every game you've traded in?

damn that is awesome, you talking about the LevelUps?? I'm so there after work, I want the universal one to hold my controllers. I also have a plan to get more of the trays made since I won't use it to hold discs, rather I want it to hold all my controllers. wish they sold the trays separately, but imma see about getting two made..

I've told them on FB that they need to make one just for that..I mean the ones that hold the system are cool, but I'm willing to bet that 98% of gamers have their units tucked into a stand/cabinet. It would be baller if you had a TV mounted high enough, and dropped money to buy all 3 platform specific towers and had them standing under the TV..that's the only situation where I would get those..
 
I just bought :wii: Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree for $9.00.

Great price for gamers who like to collect Nintendo games. It has Club Nintendo Points too.
 
That's not much of a drop since it was $9.98 before this past drop. Still a good price of course but I hope other stuff dropped more like some of the $9.98 and $8.48 games dropping to $5 or less.

I don't know if this is the same one, but a 12 month gold card went down in price today.

And thanks for contributing with the thread. It has been pretty hectic at my store and it's only going to get worse from here on out. I barely get a free minute to even sit at a computer and look at changes now a days.
 
Thanks for sharing the info. I stopped by earlier and picked up Far Cry 2. I also tried to get Devil May Cry 4 but it rang up $24.98.
 
I might pick Prototype back up for $10, since I think I never really finished it up 100%. Instead I ended up just climbing up buildings and tossing cars n crap at enemies for laughs when I had it last.

For those trying to decide if they want to buy it or not, all it is is Hulk: Ultimate Destruction with a skin swap on the characters. Most of the animations even seem the same from the Hulk game last gen in Prototype.:roll: But it's still REALLY fun.:razz:

And :rofl: @ some of the earlier drops for PS3. I picked up Wolfenstein, Far Cry 2 and X-Blades for $15 total between Kmart and Sears clearance over the last six months. Ahhhh RIP good clearance, how I miss thee.:cry:

Unfortunately by the time I'll be able to get to my other local TRU to check for these they'll be cleaned out(if they aren't already).
